Really good location, had everything we needed in the apartment. Having WiFi and smart tv was handy. In 34c weather, the rooms were extremely hot, but the air con in the living room was perfect, just loud. The fan in the bedroom didn't do much but was enough to help my daughter sleep. Dishwasher was a helpful bonus, meaning we didn't have to do any housework whilst being away from home. I also enjoyed the tassimo machine. The use of the fridge and freezer was also perfect for the weather.

There wasn't really anything. The lift was slow and the extractor fan in the bathroom was loud but nothing major.

Due to the rip off hotel prices in Cardiff for the European rugby weekend, I found these apartments for a large group. All 17 complimented the great standard, amazing value, ease of train travel to/from Cardiff. Good (open til late) supermarket under the apartment block, carpark next door, close to the train station. Reception staff very helpful. BarCode across the road was excellent for a drink. Horton's a short walk down the river was great for breakfast. I would highly recommend these apartments for any Cardiff Principality event to avoid silly priced city hotels. Having never been to Newport, I now know it's also a good place to eat and have a quieter drink than busy Cardiff.

Really friendly welcome on arrival. Everything was clearly explained. As 2 females we were offered a 2 bed apartment. Everything was clean and the apartment was fully equipped and air conditioned. A couple of small improvements could be made to things like towel rails, toilet roll holder, windowsills and windows could do with cleaning. Beds were comfy and had a good night's sleep. Overall a great experience and definitely will return. Ideally located close to the train station if you are heading into Cardiff for an event. Also would be great for longer stays.

Loved it. Incredibly clean apartment. The reality of the apartments matched the photos. So much bigger than I anticipated - felt like I had a cosy one-bedroom penthouse with lovely views. Really friendly staff. There were some issues with the lifts but I was assured that they're getting sorted. Bear in mind that the apartments are on the ninth floor of a high-rise building. Wonderfully located. Less than 500m away from the Newport Marathon startline which is what brought me to the city. Would book this place again if/when I return to the city.

In a wonderful location very close to travel facilities and local entertainment/dining options. The apartment itself was also lovely and very well appointed with all of the amenities necessary to be fully independent for any length of stay.

Unfortunately, during our stay there was only one functioning lift. It didn't adversely affect our stay, but with multiple floors of people needing to get to the lobby, it was a noticeable impairment.

It was a lovely flat, well equipped and easy to heat. View was lovely, if only the windows were cleaner. Very close to the center of town.

It's not the most inviting looking from the outside. Car park doesn't look very safe..... But it is. Didn't get fob for car park so had to call number... But gates were open with in minutes..... Just be careful when approaching entrance, I misjudged it and damaged my wheels. Car park costs, but you get a good discount with Quay apartments. £5 per 24hrs for a gated car park in city center is very good.

Everything or I wouldn't keep coming back! Feels safe with keyfob plus 24hr reception. Love the quiet time 9pm to 7am, no worries about being disturbed by inconsiderate "neighbours ". Comfy, cosy, clean apartment. Superb staff no matter who is on shift, all brilliant and helpful whilst still being professional. Gorgeous view of the fantastic sunrise breaking through. Arrived in rare warm weather to find a mobile air-conditioning unit cooling the apartment- very thoughtful thank you.

Actually found a hiccup (only taken 7 stays to notice something) the hairdryer lead does not allow you to be able to comfortably stand in front of the mirror situated in the bedroom to be able to see how you are styling your hair.

Proximity to city centre and public transport. Very friendly staff, easy to get to. Perfect for a short stay weekend (the weather made it fabulous, which was a bonus). Wish we'd stayed an extra nite. Would definitely stay there again 👍🏽😀

The windows didn't open, which was weird, considering how warm the weather turned out to be. The air con in the bedroom needs to be a little stronger. The lighting was a little bright for my taste but the lamps helped.

Had booked a twin apartment but we received a surprise upgrade to a 2 bed which was a lovely surprise and greatly appreciated. The rooms all had air con, which was a blessing as it was about 35° over the weekend. Apartment was spotlessly clean and extremely convenient for access to Newport and Cardiff.

If there was one tiny improvement it would be a shelf in the bathroom! 2 women and all their products could do with a space to put them!
