There was no breakfast th e apartment was self catering

I was unable to obtain the the apartment key -- I did use the code -- but did not understand the method of obtaining the apartment key wich was inn the box by the door -- and was shown to me on the morning I left hence my apartment door remained open through my stay, Probably my own fault not understanding the system. Will now better next time -- still like thre Spire. Also apartment was very hot -- but staff had provided two fans and windows open to reduce the temperature in the room --- very considerate of the cleaning ladies.

It was perfect in every way, apart from being boiling hot! It was spotlessly clean and was well-furnished. Easy to check in and out. We had everything we needed for an overnight stay including a hair dryer and iron. The fridge, oven and dishwasher were all easy to use and efficient. It was quiet and we had a good night’s sleep.

It was hot and the fan wasn’t much use. It would be great if you provided 2 towels per person (hotels forget that women usually want to wash their hair before a night out) and maybe you could have a pizza cutter in the cutlery drawer.

Very easy to check in even out of hours. The location was perfect for going to the Welsh Government offices and I had a nice walk across the park in the morning. What would have made the property better would have been a bit of soft lighting for the evening in the living room space. I would stay there again though.

My only gripe was that the optional continental breakfast wasn't good value for money - next time I will buy breakfast from the shops. I'm also pretty sure it was the Spires in Glasgow that cancelled on us prior to our wedding day...we're pretty sure they did this to take advantage of a price hike due to events going on in the city.

Quiet location and easy to find. Fairly well stocked with kitchen items. Warm but not too hot. Good to have a lift as we were on 4th floor. Apartment was adequate for our needs. It was well-situated for Sonja Gardens and Bute Park which are lovely walking for us and our dog. A slightly longer walk into the city but not a problem as Cardiff is fairly compact.

Limited Fairy liquid and bin bags. £ 10 per night seems steep to cover additional cleaning because we had a dog travelling with us as appartment small and self-catering.

Location very close to the castle.we didn’t take their parking but found a large carpark by the coach station round the corner, which had plenty of spaces. Very well presented apartment and very convenient.

Lack of aircon. It was exceptionally hot and there weren’t enough windows that opened as they could only open a little way. A fan was supplied but something to consider if we are to have warmer summers. All said we will go back as it was a nice flatlet.

The location is superb. A short walk from the castle, which was our destination for the evening, but also the Principality Stadium and the city centre shops. The studio was comfortable, clean and spacious. We had no need of the kitchen but that could come in handy if staying for a few days and wanting to self-cater. And the room rate, given the location, was very fair indeed. The reception wasn't staffed all the time, which is quite common these days, but I did meet Richard (I think it was) on the morning of checkout and he was very friendly and helpful.

Nothing of note to particularly dislike. Car parking was extremely tight so it would have been nice for that to be easier. But appreciate that it's a city centre location and space at a premium. Just a bit of care needed when getting the car in and planning for getting out!

Clean, good location, excellent space. Would stay again. Problems were eventually sorted out by the manager, who was very helpful.

Pick up of key was problematic - code supplied was wrong (had to ring to get right one) and the key locker was broken - the manager was not present when arrived, in spite of saying he would be. Someone parked in my space, which took an hour+ to sort out (not Spires fault by the way but an irritation none the less). Every room has a fire door, but these are heavy to open, noisy when they close and difficult to operate if you are carrying something.

Excellent comms. I was very grateful to have a call regarding my booking, when I was able to ask questions. A great system for checking in - we were potentially going to arrive very late and the check-in process accommodated that. We encountered a very friendly member of staff when checking out. Facilities very good - perfect for our needs. We'll stay again!

We had to park in the Sophia Gardens car park, and carry our bags the long way round. If we'd been in time to book parking (which is limited) that wouldn't have been a problem. On event days at the Principality Stadium, be aware that Sophia Gardens is used for event parking and get there early. Luckily we did!

Loved the apartment. Was well located close to city park, short walk to city centre restaurant bars and pubs etc. stayed there just one night but could easily have stayed longer. We were 3 adults and 2 dogs and we booked parking onsite. Stayed in apartment 2 - lots of room. Only slight annoyance is all the fire doors so they sell-close - I understand the reasons yet found it annoying! Parking at the rear is really tight too especially if you drive an SUV

Great location, very convenient, clean and great customer support from Richard and the team.

It was during very hot weather (30 degrees) and there was no air conditioning, the windows only opened minimal amount and it was uncomfortably hot and difficult to sleep. We were in a south facing apartment, and I would suggest air conditioning should be out in for hot weather.
