The apartment is beautifully decorated, the rear terrace feels private and gets great sun exposure. We ended up not using the cooking facilities during our stay but everything was provided that you'd need. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. We would definitely consider coming back here for a future visit to Cardiff as the location is unbeatable to the city centre and the central train station. St David's shopping centre is less than a 10 minute walk, with the main high street even closer.

The ceiling seems to be rather thin as you can hear people walking around upstairs and moving chairs etc can be quite disruptive. Also, be wary when visiting in the height of summer, as there is no air conditioning or fan. You can open the patio door but this will also invite in the noise of the street in front of the property. There are ceiling heating panels in the main room and the bathroom which would be ideal for a winter stay.

I loved its central location - only a few minutes walk to bus and train station and not much further to main attractions like Cardiff Castle . The apartment was always clean and tidy ( cleaning done daily ) and all my needs were catered for . The shower was very easy to operate and regulate the temperature . Self catering was made easy through the provision of a fridge and microwave and I loved the fact that they provided a water filter So no need to go out and purchase bottles of water . I usually rely on my iPad for entertainment when I go on holiday as the channels provided in the accommodation are usually fairly limited . But the tv in my apartment offered Netflix , Apple , Amazon Prime and Disney plus - so I had a feast of entertainment in the evening . And the bed was super comfortable . All in all excellent accommodation .

The only drawback was the location of my room up 17 stairs . I’m disabled and had problems getting my two suitcases up the stairs . At check out a lovely clean in h lady helped me get them downstairs But I’m not reflecting this in the marking as it was for me to check this out before booking I would only warn anyone with disabilities that it might not be suitable especially as it is a self check in property . Also the microwave was a little too high for me . But these are minor issues and they did not affect my ability to enjoy my holiday . It just meant cooking took a bit longer .

We chose this accommodation due to its excellent location and it did not disappoint! It exceeded our expectations and we overall have no complaints. The room was very clean and we had many facilities available. We made use of the fridge and electric kettle throughout our stay, and we loved the different forms of streaming available on the TV! We communicated with the hosts online and they were very nice and quick to respond to any queries. The flat was very close to the central train station in Cardiff and made it easy for us to travel.

The location is excellent! It's very convenient to everything we wanted to see and do. We were able to walk everywhere! Also, it was a short walk to the Cardiff Central train station which made it very convenient for us. The check-in instructions were delivered in a timely manner and they were very accurate. The instructions even included a brief video describing how it all worked. We had the Garden room, room #2. It was a bit small but very sufficient for our needs! It was beautiful, clean, modern, nicely decorated and well equipped! The entry hall to the building was always neat and clean as well! The hosts were very pleasant, professional and responsive!

This was not a dislike, but we felt it appropriate to mention that to reach the Garden Room, it is necessary to go down several small carpeted steps. In the entry hall there are also steps going up, so if a prospective renter has mobility issues, you might want to check with the hosts for a room assignment that meets your needs and abilities.

We stayed at Central Studios on 5th July 2025 as we were attending Oasis at the Principality Stadium. We couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to stay. It was less than 5 minute walk to Cardiff Central Station and less than 2 minutes to our gate in the Stadium. The room was very clean, jug of water waiting in the fridge for us when we got there and the self service check in was so easy! Abi & Charlie text us the check in details and it couldn’t have been more simple! Thank you for a great stay, we’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful apartment. Very clean and smart. Balcony was an added bonus. Communication with the host was excellent. Fresh towels and toiletries every other day. Location is perfect...walking distance to city centre but no noise. Lovely warm room (I'm a cold person). Definitely will stay again!

Only thing was the lighting in the bathroom is on a timer and goes off when in the shower....have to keep opening shower door to activate it. But not a huge problem. Also would have been nice to have a bigger bowl/container for the microwave for heating soup etc. Other than that, was perfect :)

Everything as described. Clean, quite comfortable, parking outside, great value for money, well-equipped for a short stay, recently renovated. Apple TV with all kinds of streaming services available.

This is not actual criticizm, but rather advice: The fridge was kinda loud for our ears and we used ear plugs when sleeping, but that’s subject to each person’s senses. As for the shower - it’d also be great to have an additional shower hose, not just a shower head on the top.

Room was lovely, so clean and modern. Bed was super comfy, telly had lots of different streaming services, the kitchen area had a lovely selection of tea, coffee and biscuits aswell as the essential appliances if you wanted to stay in for dinner. Most importantly I felt super safe and didn’t have any fear about security. The hotel was in a great location, 15 minute walk to the centre and super close to the train station. The view of the stadium outside was breathtaking. No bad things to say about this hotel, we had a great couple of days and will definitely be going back next year!

Clean, Christmas decorated in hall, liked the room decor and bathroom. Secure entrance and door to room. Could get parking outside front door which was good for unpacking.

Sometimes too hot for me but fixed that. Lights are on sensors in bathroom and room lobby door and they would go on and off in the night sometimes while sleeping. Bed a little low for me but comfy. Could do with slightly more plates etc for longer stays- medium size bowls

We have just spent the past five nights here and had a fantastic time in Cardiff. The room was spotless and had everything we needed, the decor was to a high standard as are the facilities provided. The shower has instant hot water and is powerful, much better than ours at home! The bed was super comfortable. We met the cleaners several times who were very friendly and helpful. The owners are also very helpful and responded very quickly when we contacted them. The location is perfect, its just a 5 minute walk into the city centre but was far enough away to be quiet at night. There was a fab food market on the street on Sunday which was perfect for coffee and breakfast. The teas/ coffees provided in the room are to a high standard, as are the toiletries. Lots of nice touches - even the door bell said hello to me by name every time I went in which I loved!
