The room was very big and had comfortable beds. The breakfast was yummy. Brilliant location for those who like to party or foodies

The bar staff weren't confident making particular cocktails that were on the menu and we couldn't get a cot.

Hotel is excellent for a weekend break in Cardiff , perfect location for sports and entertainment. Good location for everyone. A Very nice breakfast also . Very polite staff and very clean

Only thing I wasn’t to keen on was stepping over bath for a shower. Everything else perfect.

Very clean hotel very polite and helpful staff, clean towels everyday room cleaned daily, huge room for 2 of us was pleased very pleased with a safety deposit box and a fridge in our room, very much enjoyed our stay 😀

Wasn't so please with food in the restaurant in the evening it was different from what I'm use to, the roast dinner had bloody beef and half raw veg the fillet steak was beautiful though quite a bit more expensive to what i would normally pay for food to, the only negative about our room was not enough drawers to put night clothes and underwear and no plug socket near the mirror when doing my hair

When we arrived our room was ready and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We were also provided with a room on the 9th floor with great views; as requested. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. My only complaint would be the air conditioning as we didn't feel much benefit from this. Nevertheless, we couldn't fault our stay at the Marriott. The location, food and service provided was exceptional. This is the second time we've stayed at the Marriott Hotel and will most definitely return!! If you are looking for somewhere central and comfortable I would highly recommend the Marriott.

I think the air conditioning system was poor however as we were only there for two nights we didn't't contact reception to discuss this and I have no doubt if we had this would have been dealt with swiftly. The general service was excellent.

Here for the Catfish gig at Principality. Location for that great as a 5 min walk and on-site parking (but contact hotel about how to get to Parking without getting bus lane fines!). Staff were great, they arranged a high floor room at back to minimize noise as I was traveling with my young son. The fact that the hotel restaurant/bar is a "Browns" means it is not dead like a lot of hotel bars, adding to atmosphere. Breakfast is in here and it was good.

It is a little noisy around hotel at night. We could hear bar noise on 10th floor at the back. If you're at the front i imagine it could be an issue. Prices when a concert is on are eye-watering, but the Marriott is not alone. Supply and Demand!

Great location, clean and friendly staff. Beds were so comfy. Staff arranged for balloons banners and a selection of cake for my partner as it was her 30th birthday.

The smell of fish from the restaurant lingered in the reception and lifts but it was bearable.

The location was perfect! It was a 10 minute walk to the stadium for a concert we were attending & right across the road from the pubs & bars. I chose this hotel as it had private parking - there were plenty of spaces & it was a locked multi-storey so very secure & reasonably priced at just £18 for 24 hours. When we arrived the lovely gentleman on reception upgraded our room free of charge as the booked room had no air conditioning & it was 34 degrees 🥵 I thought that was a lovely gesture as it’s little touches like this that will make people want to return. It was a lovely clean room with a kettle & coffee/tea, an iron, hair dryer, safe & a fridge & the air conditioning was amazing! When exploring Cardiff I also noticed the train station & shopping centre were also within walking distance so it’s definitely a prime location. I can’t wait to book here again!

Location is perfect, right in the centre of Cardiff. I like the fact it has its own car park and can leave the car up to 3.00pm.

Common ladies toilet in the foyer had a sink out of order for what it looked like a while as it had brown water in it. An evening meal tray was left on the 3rd floor outside the lifts foyer, it was there at 7.30am in the morning (11th June 2025) and still not collected at 12.00pm despite seeing several member of staff around. Very confusing how to reach the car park with bus/taxi restrictions lanes in the city and one way system. Website does not have any information on it. Clear instructions can be found in a piece of paper at the reception, by then it is too late as you have already arrived in the premises.

The hotel was spotless smelt beautiful .the staff were polite professional and friendly.our room was very clean spacious comfortable,it was warm.even down to the hairdryer brilliant .we ordered room service for breakfast food was outstanding fresh hot plenty of it and good variety.comfortable beds good lighting good pillows.everything to hand plenty of information about services provided.it was bank holiday weekend and we heard no noise coming from other rooms at all through the night.we can't wait to return. The gentleman at the desk very pleasant and our bags were kept safe in a locked room until our train was due.
