The room was very big and had comfortable beds. The breakfast was yummy. Brilliant location for those who like to party or foodies

The bar staff weren't confident making particular cocktails that were on the menu and we couldn't get a cot.

Hotel is excellent for a weekend break in Cardiff , perfect location for sports and entertainment. Good location for everyone. A Very nice breakfast also . Very polite staff and very clean

Only thing I wasn’t to keen on was stepping over bath for a shower. Everything else perfect.

Very clean hotel very polite and helpful staff, clean towels everyday room cleaned daily, huge room for 2 of us was pleased very pleased with a safety deposit box and a fridge in our room, very much enjoyed our stay 😀

Wasn't so please with food in the restaurant in the evening it was different from what I'm use to, the roast dinner had bloody beef and half raw veg the fillet steak was beautiful though quite a bit more expensive to what i would normally pay for food to, the only negative about our room was not enough drawers to put night clothes and underwear and no plug socket near the mirror when doing my hair

I was greeted politely and welcomed to the hotel, my baggage was stored securely meaning I could attend an activity within the right time slot. When we came back to the hotel we were greeted by another member of staff she was exceptional and nothing we asked was too big she was friendly and welcoming. She happily dealt with a special request. Once we entered the room we were stunned by how luxury it was and loved the view. My special request for birthday extras was fulfilled, a ballon, birthday card chocolate and Welsh cakes were left which was extremely thoughtful and much appreciated by my girlfriend. We cannot fault the hotel or the service. By far the nicest hotel I have been to in Cardiff and look forward to returning.

When we arrived our room was ready and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We were also provided with a room on the 9th floor with great views; as requested. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. My only complaint would be the air conditioning as we didn't feel much benefit from this. Nevertheless, we couldn't fault our stay at the Marriott. The location, food and service provided was exceptional. This is the second time we've stayed at the Marriott Hotel and will most definitely return!! If you are looking for somewhere central and comfortable I would highly recommend the Marriott.

I think the air conditioning system was poor however as we were only there for two nights we didn't't contact reception to discuss this and I have no doubt if we had this would have been dealt with swiftly. The general service was excellent.

We have used this hotel a few times Pricey especially at weekend but We like the hotel for its location, 10 minutes to the Station, 10 minutes to the Utilita Arena, top of Queens street shopping and its standards are up to what I expect of a hotel of this chain

The bed pillows were either too hard or too soft making it impossible to get a good nights sleep. whilst I appreciate that the hotel can not change it the thumping music till 2.00am did not help us in any way. maybe look at the triple glazing for the windows on the front of the property or offer the option of front or back room

Here for the Catfish gig at Principality. Location for that great as a 5 min walk and on-site parking (but contact hotel about how to get to Parking without getting bus lane fines!). Staff were great, they arranged a high floor room at back to minimize noise as I was traveling with my young son. The fact that the hotel restaurant/bar is a "Browns" means it is not dead like a lot of hotel bars, adding to atmosphere. Breakfast is in here and it was good.

It is a little noisy around hotel at night. We could hear bar noise on 10th floor at the back. If you're at the front i imagine it could be an issue. Prices when a concert is on are eye-watering, but the Marriott is not alone. Supply and Demand!

Great location in central Cardiff, hard to beat for access to shops, restaurants etc. Really nice staff. Nice dining area and bar area. Great parking attached to the hotel - thought pricing wasn't outrageous - parking in central Cardiff is very expensive anyway, on a par with London prices!

Room at the front of the hotel - pretty noisy at night (but i guess we were in the centre of town so to be expected) Very hard bed - its a personal preference thing, and understand some people love a hard bed, but the bed was exceptionally firm so not a great night sleep for us

The location was perfect! It was a 10 minute walk to the stadium for a concert we were attending & right across the road from the pubs & bars. I chose this hotel as it had private parking - there were plenty of spaces & it was a locked multi-storey so very secure & reasonably priced at just £18 for 24 hours. When we arrived the lovely gentleman on reception upgraded our room free of charge as the booked room had no air conditioning & it was 34 degrees 🥵 I thought that was a lovely gesture as it’s little touches like this that will make people want to return. It was a lovely clean room with a kettle & coffee/tea, an iron, hair dryer, safe & a fridge & the air conditioning was amazing! When exploring Cardiff I also noticed the train station & shopping centre were also within walking distance so it’s definitely a prime location. I can’t wait to book here again!
