Could not fault our stay. All staff were friendly and helpful, the location was perfect! Near the station, Principality Stadium and the city centre for shops, bars and clubs (but not noisy at all) 24hr desk, and security on the door the night of a concert making sure only guests staying at the hotel could come in. Snacks, coffee and other drinks available in the reception bar. The efficient double room was exactly what it said on the tin! On the smaller side, but ‘efficient’. Clean, modern, generous with the toiletries provided (mounted to the wall not mini bottles) and everything you could need for a city break. Would happily stay again

I liked the fact that there was a room available for my one night stay, which is during a busy period. The hotel is a short walk from the railway station which was good as I arrived by train, although I was travelling light with only a small holdall.

I took a snooze in the afternoon but was woken up by strange noises. Thinking it may have been caused by a fault with the elevator machinery I reported it to the reception. The manager accompanied to my room to listen for herself and agreed there were strange noises. I was offered another room which I accepted and had a peaceful and restful night.

Staff were fantastic - welcoming and extremely helpful. They were all great but would like to mention in particular the lady in the kitchen/ restaurant during breakfast this morning (08/07/25). So attentive and nothing too much trouble. Lovely lady. Also loved the decor with local attractions in the detail.

On arrival I was told I had a complimentary upgrade, which I was rather excited about,however when I got to the room,found it to be exactly as expected however with worse views than anticipated (original booking was with a city view, the actual room had a view of a wall). It would also have been nice to see more Welsh around the building, considering it was in the capital city of Wales.

Everything’s great except for the housekeeping service which was poor. I requested for a refill of the 3 in 1 body wash/shampoo 4 times over 4 consecutive days and it was never done. The very last night before checking out it’s totally finished but luckily I had brought my own body wash so I had to use that. This was the 1st time I ever encountered such poor housekeeping service over the many times I stayed at hotels. Normally, I just had to call for housekeeping services at other hotels I had stayed and my requests were attended to very quickly. However to compensate this, fresh towels were resupplied daily which I like very much. Other than this everything else was great.

The location of the hotel is few steps away from bus and train station. Lots of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. Cardiff market and cardiff castle was walking distance. The bay is one bus stop only from the hotel. Tranportation to the airport was easy. The room was so cozy, with modern facilities. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were abundant toiletries. Staff YUAN from the reception was so kind and helpful during my check in. Other staff were nice as well. Over all the hotel was amazing and good value for money most esp for those solo travelers. I had a great time staying at this hotel. Highly recommended.

The location is excellent just steps away from the train station without having any of its noise. The room itself was compactly designed with space and storage allocated smartly, e.g.,. a nice roomy shower. The bed was comfortable though the bedding was 'standard' poly/cotton stuff. Staff were attentive and helpful with restaurant suggestions which suited my needs. Good value for my money and would stay again.

Breakfast was a basic selection and adequate. I would have enjoyed a 'fresher' quality of ingredients, e.g. the scrambled eggs could have tasted more like eggs and the coffee could have been more coffee-like. Having said this, the breakfast may suit other taste buds well.

The trip could have been a total disaster as my friend and I were told.when we arrived that the hotel had been overbooked by Booking.com so a double wasn't available, only a twin with bunks. BUT to compensate we were given a free drink from the stylish bar AND a free breakkie which my mate say was the best he's had in years!! The guy on reception was sooooo professional and an absolute credit to the company. We were so impressed by everything that we stayed the next night for a very reasonable rate and now will be recommending this hotel/chain left right and centre. EXCELLENT JOB, Four Points!!!!

The hotel oddly turns off the lift at night. They did not warn me of this but put me on the first floor. I am sure to their physically able guests this does not pose a problem. This should have been something reception told me on arrival at hotel as with my walking frame they placed me on the first floor. This is very disabled unfriendly. The staff were warm and friendly. I had a nice breakfast on my final Saturday morning. Good staff in restaurant that helped with my gluten free needs. The room was a bit shabby and there was hair and dust on the bed and in the shower. Quite unhygienic. The hotel needs a bit of love in terms of decor and standard of room.

All staff very friendly and helpful. Location is absolutely perfect for a group on a night out. Room is very small and stuffy, the bathrooms are tiny and if you’re a larger person you wouldn’t be able to sit on the toilet or use the shower. The rooms need a bit of TLC, marks all over the walls, the ceiling lights in the bathroom are hanging. There was no mirror by the desk to get ready but three mirrors in the bathroom. Didn’t make sense. Need more plugs by the sides of the beds. Was tidy enough. Overall I think it’s a good enough hotel if you just want somewhere to sleep and get dressed. Staff were all very nice. I would stay again for a night out.

I have stayed at Sleeperz several times when visiting family around Cardiff, the central location right by the train station is extremely convenient and the hotel is absolutely excellent value especially in the winter months. Rooms are simple, very clean and well maintained and the hotel has a nice lobby and breakfast room. On this visit the staff were particualarly helpful and friendly offering extra help and services whilst being very respectful of guests privacy. I will definitely stay again next time I'm in Cardiff.
