This is a former Sleeperz Hotel now taken over and renovated by Sheraton as a budget-friendly property. The central Cardiff location is excellent -- literally steps from / overlooking the train station (but well-soundproofed). The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and quiet, the staff was friendly, and the price was reasonable. And there actually was housekeeping service during my two-night stay, which sadly has become something of a rarity.

This is a seriously small room -- and I had a corner unit, which may be larger than some others. The bath was minuscule, so tiny that the toilet had to be set low to the floor to allow space for knees under the sink! (And I'm a smallish woman.) No room for wet towels or much else in there, either. Fine for a short stay, but be prepared not to have a lot of space.

Could not fault our stay. All staff were friendly and helpful, the location was perfect! Near the station, Principality Stadium and the city centre for shops, bars and clubs (but not noisy at all) 24hr desk, and security on the door the night of a concert making sure only guests staying at the hotel could come in. Snacks, coffee and other drinks available in the reception bar. The efficient double room was exactly what it said on the tin! On the smaller side, but ‘efficient’. Clean, modern, generous with the toiletries provided (mounted to the wall not mini bottles) and everything you could need for a city break. Would happily stay again

I had an excellent stay at Four Points Flex by Sheraton Cardiff. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, making check-in and day-to-day interactions smooth and pleasant. The breakfast was outstanding — fresh, well-varied, and nicely presented. The location is perfect: most of Cardiff’s key attractions are within walking distance or just a short taxi ride away. It’s also just a short walk from Cardiff Central Station, which made arriving and traveling around very convenient. Cons: None. Everything about my stay meet expectations.

I liked the fact that there was a room available for my one night stay, which is during a busy period. The hotel is a short walk from the railway station which was good as I arrived by train, although I was travelling light with only a small holdall.

I took a snooze in the afternoon but was woken up by strange noises. Thinking it may have been caused by a fault with the elevator machinery I reported it to the reception. The manager accompanied to my room to listen for herself and agreed there were strange noises. I was offered another room which I accepted and had a peaceful and restful night.

Staff were fantastic - welcoming and extremely helpful. They were all great but would like to mention in particular the lady in the kitchen/ restaurant during breakfast this morning (08/07/25). So attentive and nothing too much trouble. Lovely lady. Also loved the decor with local attractions in the detail.

On arrival I was told I had a complimentary upgrade, which I was rather excited about,however when I got to the room,found it to be exactly as expected however with worse views than anticipated (original booking was with a city view, the actual room had a view of a wall). It would also have been nice to see more Welsh around the building, considering it was in the capital city of Wales.

Perfect location just next to Cardiff Central station, bus station and within the city centre.

Everything’s great except for the housekeeping service which was poor. I requested for a refill of the 3 in 1 body wash/shampoo 4 times over 4 consecutive days and it was never done. The very last night before checking out it’s totally finished but luckily I had brought my own body wash so I had to use that. This was the 1st time I ever encountered such poor housekeeping service over the many times I stayed at hotels. Normally, I just had to call for housekeeping services at other hotels I had stayed and my requests were attended to very quickly. However to compensate this, fresh towels were resupplied daily which I like very much. Other than this everything else was great.

The location of the hotel is few steps away from bus and train station. Lots of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. Cardiff market and cardiff castle was walking distance. The bay is one bus stop only from the hotel. Tranportation to the airport was easy. The room was so cozy, with modern facilities. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were abundant toiletries. Staff YUAN from the reception was so kind and helpful during my check in. Other staff were nice as well. Over all the hotel was amazing and good value for money most esp for those solo travelers. I had a great time staying at this hotel. Highly recommended.

No fridge and telephone. But not an issue.

The location is excellent just steps away from the train station without having any of its noise. The room itself was compactly designed with space and storage allocated smartly, e.g.,. a nice roomy shower. The bed was comfortable though the bedding was 'standard' poly/cotton stuff. Staff were attentive and helpful with restaurant suggestions which suited my needs. Good value for my money and would stay again.

Breakfast was a basic selection and adequate. I would have enjoyed a 'fresher' quality of ingredients, e.g. the scrambled eggs could have tasted more like eggs and the coffee could have been more coffee-like. Having said this, the breakfast may suit other taste buds well.

Good central location very near Cardiff Central train station yet room was quiet. No hotel car park but we parked at the station which was £13 for 24 hours and much cheaper than other options. Staff were friendly, beds were comfy and it was good for the 1 night we stayed for a concert.

Room was quite small and double bed I thought was a small double. I think we ended up with an accessible room (although we didn’t request it) so bathroom door was a sliding door which meant the door didn’t have a firm close reducing noise from anyone in the bathroom.

Great location, literally next door to Cardiff Central railway station and the bus interchange. The bars and restauarant of St. Mary Street, Caroline Street and Westgate Street are a couple of minutes walk away, and the Milllenium stadium, shopping ceentre and Cardiff Castle just over 5 minutes walk. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was efficient and hot, the wifi was easy to access, and the plasma TV had a good choice of channels.

The room is very small and the window doesn't open so you have to rely on the air conditioning.
