Good value -- Nice location, on the River Taff, a few minutes away from Bute park -- Really nice single room, larger than it looked in pictures -- Really easy check-in with a short code provided on the check-in day which is the same for front door & your room, which was nice and easy -- Well decorated rooms, with nice, clean private bathroom -- The staff we bumped into around the hotel were also really friendly.

Some of the floor under the carpet was broken quite badly, probably an old fireplace hearth -- Some of the single rooms were a bit smaller than others, but still really nice.

I was staying at WiseStay for 3 nights. But during the midnight of one night the room had sound insulation problems that I could hear guests staying next to my room (mine is 9) snoring heavily. So I messaged and called the property in the mid of night and they responded very quickly. They could not do anything at the mid of night but they did manage to switch me to another room the next morning. This was very considerate and I really appreciated their effort as I had important exam the day after. Overall, good place, good location, friendly staffs and worth my room price!

Fantastic from start to finish . We have stayed with Arron Wise before but this time was a different building . I had rung beforehand to discuss a few things and Kenan ? on the phone was very helpful . They texted me the code for the front door and our room 1 hour before check in . We arrived , straight in and we were ground floor , brilliant as we struggle with stairs . The room had everything we needed , was warm , beds were extremely comfortable , Kettle, TCS , plent of lamps , Shower room with hand wash and shower gel , towels. wardrobe , desk and chair , plenty of plug sockets , FREE WiFi .

There is nothing not to like. It's not the Ritz but you honestly can't go wrong here if you need a place to stay when visiting Cardiff . Could quite happily stay here for more than 1 night . Coffee Station in the hallway with extra TCS , Toilets rolls , microwave . I want to tell the world about this place but also want to keep it our little secret incase it gets so popular that we can't get a room ! Lol.

Check in couldn't have been easier especially considering we arrived after midnight. The location was perfect, less than a 10 min walk from the city centre with parking available. The price was ideal for a couple nights in the city centre as well. Room was small but given we were only there for 2 nights and some sightseeing this didn't bother us at all.

The shower head in the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in some time as it was quite grimy and gross. I saw someone else mention this, but the tap in the bathroom didn't stay on long enough to even wet both hands never mind wash them.

Position was quite central, and staff is incredibly nice. Building is cute, and most necessities are covered. Self check-in is very convenient.

Room is quite small, and the sink is incredibly tiny, making it hard to wash your face. Sound isolation is not the best, you can clearly hear people in the other rooms and the bathroom fan is very loud. Unfortunate that to keep your luggages there for a couple of hours you need to pay an extra fee...

I had a wonderful stay at WiseStay. The staff was really helpful and attentive. They assisted me with my luggage and kindly offered me a space for my suitcases before check-in time, which was very much appreciated. To my surprise, they also offered me a complimentary upgrade to a more spacious room because I had multiple pieces of luggage. The room was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. I enjoyed the beautiful view of the River Taff from the window, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I was highly satisfied with my experience and would definitely choose to stay here again!

The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to Cardiff center as well as the train station, while the bus station is about a 20-minute walk away. The check-in process was simple and intuitive, even though I arrived outside business hours, after 5 PM. The room was a bit warmer than I would have liked (visiting in July), but a fan was provided which solved the problem. Everything was peaceful, quiet, and clean. The price-quality ratio is exceptional.

I understand the tap system is designed to save water and prevent unnecessary waste, but after pressing the button, water flows for literally only two seconds. This meant I couldn't wash both hands properly, nor wash both hands simultaneously (I had to hold the button with one hand while washing the other). I think the water flow should last at least a bit longer. This certainly isn't a major complaint and wouldn't prevent me from staying here again.

The location of this property was perfect. It was in walking distance of the central train station but far enough away that it was very quiet and peaceful. The views from my window of principality stadium were fantastic. The room itself was very well facilitated. I had everything I needed in the room. It was very spacious and warm enough for someone who's always cold as I am. The host, although I never met him during my stay, was on hand via message to answer any queries I had both leading up to and during my stay. The little tea and coffee station by the door was a lovely touch also.

Although my bed and linen were spotlessly clean, the window sill was very dusty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while. My bathroom sink was severely cracked and although didn't affect its use, aesthetically lowered the overall look of the bathroom. The shower was fine in size for me but for anyone of a larger or taller build, it might be a bit cramped. Minor details really which didn't impact the overall pleasurable stay I had at this property.

The accommodation was within walking distance of the Castle which was great. The digital entry was easy and worked well. The room and bathroom was clean, the beds were very comfortable and there was TV, kettle (tea and coffee etc) an iron. Nice view of the river. The room exceeded my expectations. The 2 members of staff we saw in the morning were very pleasant and asked if we had had a good stay.

Google maps was playing up though so it took a while to find the accommodation. It might have helped to have a simple map to find it. I did try to get in contact when we couldn't find it but noticed there was only a messaging service, I didn't see a telephone number. But we found it as soon as I tried to message! I couldn't download the Goki app but the pin number worked well. I worried it might be a bit rowdy near a pub by the river but it was quiet at 11pm.

I really liked how close the place was to the station, and to the city centre. It was a spacious room, and exceptionally clean. I found the check in process incredibly easy, and I would go as to say I would choose to stay here in the future over booking a hotel, due to the quality of the experience I had.

I would just say, maybe having a bit more flexibility with the check in time, whilst I appreciate this property offers a cheaper stay than others, the additional £20 for early check in or check out makes the stay pricer, and to me, that isn't the reason I chose to stay here.
