The place was warm, You could tell the bedsheets were clean, Room was clean, bed is Comfortable, If you have a question there is a WhatsApp group which contacts you directly to an AI helper and it literally is the best thing ever as you don’t feel like you’re disturbing anyone with your questions even if they’re in the middle of the night. Location is perfect. It’s literally a seven minute walk from the station and 10 to 15 to the stadium. The area is quiet, People are friendly and respectable, The kitchen Has lots of utensils and the living room is really comfortable, Apparently, there was a game room which was too late for me to check out, but that is very cool.

There is a beer smell in the hallway of room nine and it is quite unpleasant but not bad bad. The rest of the house hallways are fine smelling. The floor feels quite thin so any little clothing drop or item drop feels like the room underneath would hear a loud bang. Otherwise, all perfect There is a sheet which is used for decoration over the bed that one was quite dirty, I wonder if they wash it.

The bread for breakfast was really good, artisan, it even smelled of yeast. I liked how the shared bathrooms were planned out: there were some rooms that only had toilets, some that only had showers, and some that had a toilet and a shower; which was really convenient for getting ready in the morning without moving from one room to another. The patio area was lovely.

Some shower rooms didn't have a hook for holding the towel. It's nitpicking, yes, but I cannot really say anything else that disappointed me. My stay was really nice.

Abi and Charlie, the two people who I was most in contact with at the Riverhouse were exceptional as well as the cleaning staff. Any request I made to Charlie and Abi was fulfilled. The Riverhouse's standard of cleanliness was beyond reproach. Breakfast was amazing. Every morning there was assorted pastries, banana nut bread, yoghurt with berries, assorted cereals, oatmeal, juices, milk, and coffee. Also the Riverhouse provides plenty of Biscoff Biscuits to go with your coffee. Needi directions? Not a problem, Abi and Charlie were very helpful always pointing me in the right direction. The Riverhouse also has a kitchen. You are allowed to cook in the kitchen and use the refrigerator to store your food and stove to cook your food. I took advantage of this and saved alot of money in the process. They have a dining area also to sit and enjoy your food, or if you just want to read a book. Check-in was super easy as well as check out. I highly recommend the Riverhouse. Everything is within a few minutes. Restaurants, laundry service, stadium, and night life is just a few minutes away.

Exceptionally clean, well located and everything was thought through for the convenience of the guests. I must recommend taking their breakfast for sure. It’s very tasty and filling and complete value for money. There is some noise from the streets but that can be managed by shutting the windows or requesting the hosts for a room that doesn’t face the street. I liked my room even though it faced the street/riverside and I had some little noise from the concert being held in the castle at the time of my stay. It didn’t bother me much. I absolutely would highly recommend this stay to anybody coming to Cardiff

The location was great, the property was clean and offered everything we needed. The main dining room/games room was a great place to have breakfast and the breakfast options were also very good. It was also nice to have Netflix available in our room to watch a movie in the evening.

The only thing that was not great was just hearing the vibrations of people moving around in the property. Since there are many rooms and shared bathroom space, you could often hear people moving. We brought earplugs and used our phones for white noise so it was really not an issue.

Extremely clean. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. I liked that there was a well equipped kitchen which allowed me to prepare meals if I didn't feel like dining out. One minor suggestion for consideration - bedside mats/rugs and some mats for the bathrooms.

No bedside rugs. No mats in bathrooms. Room was a bit stuffy and hot. Fix the latch on window which my allow the window to open a bit more and allow better airflow.

Spotlessly clean, very central location close to the station, great communication with the owners. I really enjoyed my stay and enjoyed both the option to use the kitchen as well as the nice breakfast provided (book separately). They were also flexible with check in times, which helped a lot in making the most of my day when I arrived.The bathrooms are very clean and I never had to wait for the shower or toilet, very organised. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Communication was fantastic throughout, the apartments and living communal areas were absolutely spotless it felt as if there were a 24/7 service in place to accommodate just for cleaning, instructions and recommendations were fantastic, the room had Netflix and was large enough to allow for a comfortable stay, the accommodation had everything and I will certainly be staying again in the next couple months. Great value for money and only a short walk into the city.

No negative comments to report.

Breakfast generous, nice, and good value for money. We were there for a Bruce Springsteen concert on a Bank Holiday weekend, so we paid well over the usual price but that applied anywhere else in the area at that time. Location brilliant for Principality Stadium, by the river and near to Sophia Gardens, Castle and City Centre. Room spacious , minimalist furnishings but adequate and everywhere was spotlessly clean and well organised.Not ensuite but plenty of bathroom cubicles near by. Shared kitchen and dining/sitting room and rear outside patio which worked well. Really well thought out with attention to detail. Friendly and helpful host. Would definitely go again.

Pillows a bit unsubstantial ( thin).

Location was superb, communication with the Riverhouse was good although mainly by WhatsApp. Rooms were quite small and overlooked by surrounding houses, the window had no nets so we had the blind drawn most of the time for privacy. Shower cubicle had a very slippery floor, a bit more of a non-slip effect would be safer. Overall for the price it was very good.

A little better noise insulation would improve things, as it was quite noisy at night with stairs creaking and doors closing. A bit more storage space would be appreciated. Only one rack for both of our clothes meant living out of a bag on the floor for most of the weekend.
