We got upgraded to a better room as it was our belated 30th wedding anniversary (31st, last year we couldn't celebrate due to family situation) this was a welcomed bonus & on arrival in the room , we found balloons & a lovely card, which made our day & stay more memorable. thank you breakfast as always was spectacular, this is one reason why we do choose The Radisonblue in Cardiff, your hotel is quite expensive, so we cant stay more frequently, but don't mind spending the money for special occasions

there was nothing to dislike, we loved our stay & would return in the future, so keep what you are doing & if there was one thing i could suggest, its to make it a little more affordable or put on special discounts for a weekend stay

On 6th floor so it wasn't noisy at all. The room was very large& spacious for just being a "standard double". Bed super king size was very comfortable.

There were only 2 English breakfast tea bags&4 milks so we could only have 1 cup of tea each per day which I thought was really stingy and when we returned on the Sunday at 2pm the room hadn't yet been cleaned so I asked someone working in a different area(not the one in charge of our room) for some more tbags& milk(& also said don't worry about cleaning it now as I'm not going out again )she only gave me one single teabag!!

The breakfast was great, so much to choose from . This hotel is in a great location, especially if you are attending a concert at the Utilita arena. Close to many eateries.

All the staff were fantastic, bar one! His name after enquiring, I was told was Mark , he really let's the place down. I also heard other guests mention him. No manners at all, he came across as not wanting to communicate with anyone . I would personally think about replacing him. I would go as far as saying he was totally miserable! This will not put me off staying again, as everyone else was fabulous.

This is about the fourth time I have stayed at this hotel, fairly extended stays, this time 11 nights. I keep going back because: 1) the rooms, including the bathrooms, are large and comfortable with all one needs 2) the buffet breakfasts have an excellent selection, a good start to any day 3) the location, situated within walking distance of the Bay and the shopping and historic centre, is excellent 4) the staff are excellent, friendly and helpful at all times 5) it is pleasing to see that work is quietly going on to refresh the facilities

Just a little grizzle (all I can find, and a joke between me and the reception staff), the key cards are unreliable!!

I took my wife away for a few days as she is expecting our 1st child and the St Davids hotel was perfect for this. Staff were (mostly) attentive and accommodating as you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The facilities were amazing, room was fully stocked and comfortable. Breakfast was superb. The gym and spa facilities were good. The location is central and the views are amazing

I requested (in person) at the front desk for the complementary turn down service for our room as we were leaving for dinner. The male staff member completely ignored me, and when asked why, was given no explanation. I was told The spa massage facilities were not available until the new year.

The young lady on reception duty was very professional and helpful in getting us into our room an hour before time , very approachable and knowledgeable of the area around the hotel. So much so that, with the hotel in a prime location the railway station and city centre within a few minutes walk and, with the room facilities as described, we'll certainly be booking the hotel again, this time for a longer stay.

My wife suggested a coat hanger on the back of the bedroom door...... but there were plenty of clothes hangers in the wardrobe to accommodate the coats,

I like the central location to the city centers and major places. It was just a walk to train station and the places we needed to visit. The facility was also clean and the breakfast was lovely.

The WiFi frustrated us so badly. There was poor network for over 95% of the 3 nights we spent there and our mobile networks were also down. We complained at some point but they didn’t seem to have any solution and we were just stuck with the poor WiFi. It was really difficult to even make WhatsApp calls or use social media. I hope they work on this.

Location : only a walk away from the train station and the city centre. No need to use a taxi unless you have very heavy bags . Room : our room was nice and big. Breakfast: the breakfast buffet was really good . Lots of options to get us going for the day. Restaurant : the restaurant also had affordable options for a light dinner.

Nothing really everything was great . If I were to nitpick ,it would have been nice to get complementary bottled water in the room. There’s a fridge in there but it was empty.

The hotel was in the perfect location for our overnight stay in Cardiff - 5 mins from the Utilita Arena and St David's shopping centre with a huge selection of bars and restaurants to choose from. Although there is some parking at the hotel, it seems to be in very high demand so we parked over the road in the John Lewis car park which worked out the same price for overnight parking and was very convenient. All the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful and the public areas (reception, bar, reception) were all very pleasant. The aircon in our room was also excellent!

Our room looked very tired (Rm 1204), with a weird selection of mis-matched and tatty furniture. It was fine for one night but it felt in desperate need of a proper make-over.

Couldn't fault the hotel at all. Really clean, staff were great and breakfast was excellent.

Wi-fi was pretty average and kept dropping out Had an argument with a member of staff at checkout which was as much my fault. I wanted a VAT invoice otherwise work will not pay my expenses. Hotel wouldn't give me one, bookings.com said I'd get one at the hotel. Customer left running around to sort out a problem not of my making. Apologies to the member of staff for being annoyed however, Radisson and Bookings.com need to be clear in the process for getting VAT receipts and communicate with customers and hotel staff clearly.
