The hotel was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. I was upgraded from a single to a king room, which was nice. The shower was good and the bed was comfortable. The WiFi was decent. The breakfast was good.

There was some noise from the street, but that's to be expected in a City Centre hotel. There were various lights in the room that couldn't be switched off (e.g. something that seemed like an emergency light in the ceiling), which made it less easy to sleep well. I was there for a conference and the vegan lunch options weren't very good. Just falafel and a slightly sad vegan + gluten-free sandwich.

Great location with parking which is a massive positive, surprised with a room upgrade to a suite as the say was for my birthday, room was amazing and immaculate, bed extremely comfortable, breakfast was lovely and hosting staff very approachable and friendly, we had pizza one evening in the bar area freshly made and amazing service from Fay.

Air conditioning, the room is fitted with a self adjusting temperature controller however would not provide cool air and lead to several requests to reception as they have to override the hotel system to provide each room upon request ( the fan provided was useless and if a hotel has A/C why proved a fan, window only opened a fraction) the constant hassle of having to request a service which should be already provided did detract from the overall experience as the room got very warm making sleeping difficult. Bath slip mats should be provided as standard and not a request I slipped twice until bath mat provided made more difficult as no grab rail in bath area.

Staff were super, friendly and helpful. It’s an old building but kept very clean and they make the best out of what they have. Parking is super close and convenient. They had said it was first come first served however we never had an issue getting a space even with the hotel at capacity.

The location is super central however therein lies the problem. There is a huge homeless issue around the centre of the city and unfortunately you don’t have to walk more than 10 paces from the doors of the hotel before you encounter it. We witnessed 4 different antisocial incidents in our 2 day stay, which were unsavory to say the least, especially with a 10 year old child. That on top of a seriously dirty and untidy city centre wasn’t the most enticing to go out in. I want to reiterate, this is not the fault of the hotel but the location.

Good central location with onsite parking. Everything seemed clean and tidy. Didn't use restaurant so can't comment on that side of things. Check in staff (Marina) friendly and efficient. Also, the front desk person late at night was very helpful. It was a single room so this doesn't give you the best impression of a hotel but more than adequate. Being at the back of the building it was quiet, definitely a bonus on a Saturday night.

It was expensive because the booking was made only 24 hours in advance. Add to that £25 for parking (seems to be the standard charge for Cardiff city centre) it was a lot of money for 7 hours sleep.

The hotel was modern and beautifully decorated. It was clean and the beds were really comfortable. The location is very central, just around the corner from the main shopping centre and within walking distance to the principality stadium. There is parking available for £25 overnight, which was cheaper than an NCP and very easy to access, we didn't find it difficult to get a space. The car park is small so get their earlier in case it is busy. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Upon arrival we didn't have hot water in our room, i ended up having to have a colder shower. We didn't complain as thought it might be a one off and due to the time (mid afternoon). In the morning it was better but the water still wasn't very hot. Our friends in another room didn't experience this though. We also thought the price was a bit steep. We paid £174 for a Friday night without breakfast, the hotel doesn't have a pool or spa and I would expect that if charging those sort of prices.

The hotel is in a great location, it is convenient and perfect for exploring the area or the city centre. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of fresh and tasty options that got our day off to a great start. What truly made our stay memorable, however, was the outstanding service from one of the staff members, Peter. He went above and beyond to help us when we had unexpected car trouble. His kindness, patience, and genuine willingness to assist made a stressful situation so much easier. We’re incredibly grateful for his help. Honestly, Peter’s exceptional service alone is reason enough to recommend this hotel. Thank you again!

The location was SUPERB, close to the shops and only a 10mins walk to the Stadium but tucked on a side road so not as noisy as I was expecting during the weekend that Oasis played. What is super useful with this hotel is it has a fairly secure car park tucked behind it, you have to pay extra but they give you a full 24hrs. The Manager David as super lovely and helpful and allowed us to check in a little earlier as our room was ready.

Along with every other hotel the price was incredibly inflated because of the Oasis weekend to nearly £500 for a twin room and then we had to pay for parking on top of that which I thought was a little mean..

The staff were really friendly, particularly at breakfast. I advised I was a coeliac and the breakfast host showed me around the breakfast options and advised what was suitable for coeliacs. I also appreciated the desperate toasting area to avoid contamination and illness. The breakfast host also offered to bring my toast over once it was finished instead of me waiting for it which I thought was really nice. The room was lovely and very comfortable. I appreciated the upgrade to a king-size room!! I would definitely choose to stay here again. Absolutely good value for money.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. There was a lack of some finishing in the bathroom where something had been installed if I'm being really picky but it didn't affect my stay all.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly; reception, cleaners and servers. There was one staff member that was really attentive to me and my family member. We wanted to change tables for breakfast, they were really helpful in helping us to do this. Also when one of the foods had run out that I wanted they went to the kitchen to get more food. And brought the food over to us; I met them half way as I was not expecting them to bring the food to our table, since breakfast is self service. :D I appreciated their care and thoughtfulness. It was a pleasant stay.

I wish the curtains were more blacked out to allow for extra time in bed. The curtains were not too bad though. They are thick curtains.

It was my first time staying at a Leonardo hotel, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very nice and clean. Staff were friendly and very welcoming. The room I booked was my highlight, it was big, spacious, clean, had good lighting and a lot of storage. The location was quite convenient as it was close to other amenities, however for me it was overwhelming as I like quiet, less busy locations. I will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. I see why this hotel has a higher rating on booking.com than some other “big” hotels.

1. The hotel is located in the city centre, which made it very busy for my liking. 2. The breakfast was very average to say the least, they had a lot of options, but I did not find it very tasty. Their orange juice was horrid! You could barely taste the orange in it, it was very diluted. Other people that stayed there complained about the same. They need to improve on the quality of their breakfast. 3. I wish hotels would start putting smart tv’s in the rooms now. Most of us have a hard time watching freeview tv. It would be better if we could have the option of connecting to YouTube to watch what we want. 4. I hated the view of outside my room.
