I decided to book here on a bit of a whim after booking somewhere else to stay for a night in Bordeaux, and I’m so glad I did ! Within 10 minutes of booking. I got a lovely phone call from the hotel, asking what time we would be arriving and to doublecheck if there was anything we needed parking etc . Upon arriving, we were offered refreshing warm towels after our journey, which were welcome. All staff were also incredibly welcoming and friendly. They were super helpful in helping us decide what to do in Bordeaux for the afternoon. We had booked a cozy mansard room, but we were upgraded to a lovely spacious comfortable room. The hotel itself is super central but on a quiet street , an oasis of calm but just a five minute walk from the commercial center of Bordeaux. Breakfast was copious and delicious and the spa and pool were lovely at the end of a long day. All in all fantastic hotel without fault and would stay here again when I’m in Bordeaux- thank you to staff also who are on hand if we needed anything, and super friendly !

Nothing - all great

Villas Foch is a fabulous boutique hotel in a great location...quiet, yet close to everything in Bordeaux. We walked to town, to the river and to Cite du Vin. Very accommodating staff and excellent service. The bar was well appointed and comfortable for our nightcaps. Breakfast was tremendous, but there are cafe's next door if it's just for coffee. Great base for exploring all the wineries of Bordeaux. Highly recommended

There's nothing we didn't like. We had a first class experience.

The staff were amazing! These young, friendly and very professional people were SO attentive, and made our stay fantastic. They helped us plan our bike trip around the wine region, helped us store our bikes, and even provided some snacks for the road. Every single person we encountered was absolutely incredible. The room was splendid, and we had a luxurious stay!

Nothing about the hotel. My only suggestion would be for the hotel to change some of their restaurant and visitor recommendations. We went to a suggested restaurant and bar - both of which were disappointing and old fashioned. So much choice of new, fun, great quality restaurants in Bordeaux that would be better recommendations.

The hotel was a beautiful boutique hotel, small number of room, a breakfast area and a lovely bar. It is nicely located just outside the main tourist drag of Bordeaux and closure to the Public Garden and Chartrons districts. The staff tended to our every need, offering us a complimentary cheese platter too on one of our nights there accompanied with some champagne. The hotel helped me with some restaurant bookings especially those that did not have websites or online bookings which helped our itinerary for the week to be really organised and running smoothly. There was an espresso machine in the room which was great for those quick coffee mornings before we set off for our day. It is located near (like walking distance) from most good restaurants and we were able to explore Bordeaux well using the hotel as our base. The room we had was bigger than I had anticipated and faced the internal parts of the hotel which were beautiful sandstone architecture and the bath products were Hermes - very special. My partner's parents had the Atelier Suite which was beautiful and spacious and faced greenery. The hotel staff could not have done more for us and were always on hand offering help and assistance. The hotel staff went to great lengths to make our stay a little home away from home.

The prices were punchy but it was well worth it in the end. The rooms could have been a bit bigger considering the price but perhaps it is Bordeaux.

The location was excellent, but the staff made the whole experience so special. They went above and beyond. personable, helpful, professional, delightful. Truly appreciated the staff and all they added to our stay in Bordeaux.

We thought the rooms were small. But they were quite pleasant.

The staff was attentive and helpful. The décore is lovely with a mixture of contemporary among an ancient setting. The front desk even sent us tizaines to help us sleep when they heard that we had just arrived from the USA.

The breakfast buffet is a bit pricey but that seems to be par for the course these days.

Location was great, staff were friendly.

We thought this was a fabulous hotel with some of the best staff ever, for our stay, led by Camille and her colleagues. They were very personable, welcoming, attentive and always professional and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

Very walkable location. Offered a lot for a small boutique hotel.

The room was far too small for 2 people. Impossible to have two suitcases open at the same time!
