When we arrived, we were not happy with the room and the internet speed was not great. When approaching the manager (Ellie, spelling may be wrong) she showed empathy and offered to move us to another room. She went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and even offered to pay for extra data due to the slow internet. The Staff, breakfast, pool area and view are amaizing.

As per above, internet speed and some rooms need an update.

In my humble opinion, three aspects could be improved: the price, the quality of the internet, and the breakfast. The price is significantly higher than the provided service. The Wi-Fi internet connection is very intermittent, limiting functionality. The breakfast could offer more options.

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The lodge itself is stunning, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and beautifully maintained grounds. Our room was spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated, with all the amenities we could have needed. One of the highlights was the food at Orange Restaurant – the meals were delicious, with a great variety of options that catered to all tastes.

It was located close to where we needed to go early morning so it was very convenient. The room was spacious, modern, and clean. Kids loved to stay upstairs by themselves whereas I enjoyed the spacious queen bed . The room is equipped with fridge, kettle and microwave and usual amenities like shampoos with a hair dryer. Came with a bath tub and a shower. Added bonus is the property does not seem to experience load- shedding. Maybe I got lucky but looks like it seems to apply to the neighborhood around. Great place all around. Close to restaurants by car.

Fantastic views, lush gardens, great breakfast, nice swimming pool. Everything we needed for a family of 4. On-site restaurant was a bonus.

Having the restaurant on the property, parking becomes a bit of a challenge in the evenings and it was somewhat noisy/ disturbing when all the people are leaving later in the night. Toilet is not enclosed.

Our stay was really amazing, reception staff was so welcoming and explained some house keeping rules to us before we went to our room. The room itself was awesome, clean, spacious and everything was working perfectly fine. And the breakfast was great including the dinner we had on our arrival with some beautiful ambient live music. We would consider coming back to explore the pool.

Maybe a buffet breakfast or even extend the breakfast hours to at least 10am. Oh and a room telephone for enquiries is a need.

Stunning property with lovely views and AMAZING breakfast which was included . All the staff we encountered were very courteous friendly and helpful . We stayed in the family room with our 2 adult children . Had a wonderful sleep . Didn't mind the shared bathroom as it was only for 1 night . Lovely place to stay when in Nelspruit

Booked a weekend stay for my parents and they loved it. They raved about how clean and comfortable their room was, the friendly and accommodating staff who made them feel welcome, the delicious daily breakfast and how they’ll love to visit again soon. Needless to say, there was not a single bad word said about their stay.

We have stayed at the sister lodge before, but Francolin is a little different, yet we had a comfortable stay. Staff are friendly and always willing to help with the Orange Restaurant on the premises is a plus bonus. Overall, we were very happy and cannot really find anything negative other than making it a more smoke free environment for smokers not having to walk so far to have a smoke.

The family room was not accomodating because the shower/bathroom is opened and cannot be used with kids in the family shared space. we couldnt bath with the kids in the shared space, our kids could not bath or use the toilet with us in the shared space as a result we needed to book another room for comfort.
