We stayed in Beachfront Cottage [B1] and was everything we could have wanted. Taking 10 steps from the front door and there was the beach!! Very good facilities and good air con that worked. Have visited the Island before but not this resort. A quieter beach for relaxing. Very good breakfast and choice of food and drink for pool etc. Would recommend and stay again. Staff also very helpful for arranging truck taxis and providing help to get around the island.

Not Dislikes but something to note: Swimming pool tiles very slippery when wet. Saw a handful of people fall straight down. Also shower pressure could have been better bit do understand were on an island so may not be possible.

Staff were really pleasant and helpful. The beach was very clean and safe to swim (in the selected area). The pool was very clean and great for kids.

Unlike some other resorts we have stayed on Samet, there was no massage/manicure/pedicure/hair braiding/etc. services. Also, something that visitors to Koh Samet should be aware of - There are no ATMs on the island (we were told that there is only one, near the main pier, but it was not in service. In any case that might be a very long way from one's hotel). Most places will take card/QR payments, but not all, so take some cash with you.

We visited almost all the other bays on the island and this was by far the prettiest bay with the calmest waters. It is a bit more of a quiet family area which suited us best rather than the busier beaches nearer the port. Perfect for a doing nothing kind of holiday It was super easy to get taxis around the island or walk along the coast between the beaches. There are lots of beach bars and restaurants on this bay and once we found out they could substitute any meat for tofu we could get proper Thai meals as vegetarian! Very happy. White sand meant no need to worry about walking in sea but there were no fish when snorkeling and the only option for seeing any was a half day boat trip between 5 islands.

Lovely beach location nice cottage room and restaurant food is good very relaxing few days nice funny friendly staff especially the waitresses. Cottage is bit dark but clean bed a little hard and could do with new pillows

Hotel staff provided us a very warm welcome upon arrival. We booked accommodation in a Thai house which was clean and suitable for 2 persons. Mattresses not to soft, perfect for me. Beach area in front of the resort were clean. The bay is good for a walk along the beach, some restaurants can be found there. Unfortunately they mainly offer burger, pizza and other Western food. Thai meals are available but you have to ask for it (you are in Thailand so why would one order burger & pizza?)

First breakfast was served either as American or Thai breakfast. I took Thai (Congee) which was ok. No buffet due to the low number of guests. Fruits and cereals were availabe. Coffee for self-service, Breakfast tea only on request. Second breakfast was available as buffet. You could help yourself with some Thai dishes and American / Continental breakfast. Free concert provided from 11 pm until 4 am by the frogs directly at our hut. Could hardly sleep but that's nature.

Very Nice Location on a beautiful coral sand beach, quite a large resort with many room options..the more you pay the closer the beach gets..Plenty of seating options on the beach front, swimming pool is clean and a decent size..so you can swim. Towels supplied after 12:00. The restaurant has a good choice of food Thai/Western and is not too pricy, Staff are friendly and english spoken..( depending who you talk too..) Breakfast is a buffet with a choice of Thai and Western food, No egg station so its fried or boiled...but they do have bacon!!!! Coffee is from a machine but the espresso is good.It's an older resort ( to set expectations) but is clean and in a really nice spot. Would I stay again...Yes absolutely. Good for kids.

Well if they improved breakfast with one more Thai dish and a choice of omelets or scrambled eggs.. it would get a very good score..but this is nit picking..not much really to complain about!

Very nice resort at the pretty and cozy beach of Vongdeuan. Staff was very friendly and ready to help. Accommodation was comfortable, WiFi fast and everyday cleaningservice. We liked the waterbuckets in front of the house to clean our sandy feet. A big swimmingpool with beds, also beds at the beach. Good breakfast. We loved restaurant Nice and Easy next door.

We had a cottage/bungalow that was advertised as a garden view, but there was no garden. Just trees and minimal landscaping. We extended our trip by one day and asked for a beachfront cottage/bungalow and it was fantastic. It also was much nicer in addition to the view. So, my advise is pay the extra for a beach view.

The beach area has a number of resorts and bars/restaurants which were easy to access. The floating pier s something to be negotiated. I think a few more supports for people having to use this would be helpful. Breakfast at the resort had a lot of choices but the choices were the same each day. We accept that this is a small island and food etc had to be shipped in. Its best to hang on to the beach towel because some days there were none or they were waiting for the next delivery...same with ice cream for desserts.

The Staff were very helpful, rooms were cleaned every day and fresh water towels etc provided. Never felt rushed from meals etc. When we accidentally locked ourselves out of the room ,left key inside...staff came immediately to our rescue were kind and gracious. no fuss.

We stayed in a Thai house which was fantastic, spacious, comfortable bed, and close to the beach. The property is beachfront, so you could have (a very good) breakfast, with a view. Loungers & chairs on the beach & terrace, lovely cocktails, and a nice beach & sea. Very easy to get to as well, literally next to the pontoon bridge so not far to go with your luggage from the boat (& staff were on hand to help if needed). All the staff were excellent, & very friendly. Great location too, could easily walk to other beaches, lots of bars and restaurants nearby - we'd definitely stay here again :-)
