The location is 10/10! Easily accessible via taxi and easy to find. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants, money changers, Green Bazaar and Ascension Cathedral inside Panfilov Guardsmen Park. Within this park there are lots of activities to do as well including ice skating and snow tubing! We also found our favorite restaurant during our stay within this park. Hotel facilities like gym, pool, steamroom/sauna, and hamam were all free to use during our stay. Definitely check it out. Daily breakfast was available as well. If you ask them they will cook sunny side up eggs for you is they are serving scrambled eggs for the day. If you are planning to join tours, this hotel is also only 20mins by taxi to the usual meet up points for tour buses and vans. 40mins to Shymbulak and 12mins to Kok Tobe Hill Gondola Cable Way. Really convenient! We stayed here during our anniversary and the staff in this hotel went above and beyond which made our stay extra special! They even decorated our room with balloons and a swan towel sculpture with a fruit platter waiting for us when we got home from our tours. Thank you so much!! We didnt expect it at all and were extremely surprised and happy! The staff for sure keeps attention to detail their top priority. Everyone was so friendly and smiling even though we were aware it is not really in their culture to be smiling which we appreciated a lot.

The water pressure for the shower in the room is low. We had to wait for a few minutes sometimes more before water that was not boiling hot would come out of the shower and the pressure was decent enough for you to get wet.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff was absolutely outstanding—always friendly, professional, and ready to help with anything. The room service was excellent, with delicious meals delivered promptly and always beautifully presented. The housekeeping team did an incredible job—everything was spotless, and they paid great attention to detail, making sure the room was always fresh and welcoming. The spa was a true highlight—relaxing, well-maintained, and offering top-quality treatments. I also enjoyed the indoor pool, which was a great place to unwind. While not the biggest, it was clean and a nice addition to the overall experience. Overall, a wonderful stay, and I would definitely return. Highly recommended!

Impeccable service at reception; hosts were very knowledgeable about local sites and activities, AND were willing to book taxi with their Yandex account ( I didn’t have a local SIM card allowing me access). National newspaper available daily but not in English. My room was fairly large equipped with a wonderful shower unit, multi channel television, AC, excellent WiFi coverage, coffee making facilities and a mini bar (although empty but replenished at request). I didn’t find time to use their swimming pool, however, their steam room and sauna were most welcoming after a day’s excursion to the mountains. Ideally located near to the Panfilov Park, local bus stop and shops & restos, bureau de change, metro station Zhibek zholy, and even a well known wellness and sauna complex (250m) away, an agreeable séjour is guaranteed. Oh lest I forget , one can order a variety of meals from their onsite restaurant with a professional in room service at no additional expense.

The food verry-verry good especially the RED VELVET cup cake i have travel many countries that is the best ever.

1. please put some light outside to make it less dull.. is a good nice place just need some little details, put some ornament light outside of the hotel to make it people's attraction. 2. please install Bidets in the bath room for easy washing and taking ablution (wuduk)

Overall, it is a very good hotel, with perfect location, very good and variable breakfast (with some local food). In case you would like to have more info about Almaty (they do not have map in reception !?), what to see and where go for 1-2 days tours outside Almaty - ask at reception for Mr. KAIRAT - who can help you a lot ! We did a tour to Almaty lake (not easy to go there as only some special cars can take you to the lake area), Shumbulak area and Kok Tobe - all in 1 day !

The first impression when entering the hotel was not so nice, but finally, we were happy to stay at this hotel !

We stayed here for 4 nights and overall had a very good experience. The room was huge, spotless, and everything inside felt brand new and well-designed. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh options every morning. Staff at the reception and restaurant were extremely helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. The sauna was a lovely addition to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

There were, however, a few downsides. On 2 of the 4 nights, the hotel restaurant was fully booked for private events, which meant we couldn’t dine there — plus, the loud music from the events could be heard clearly from our room on the 3rd floor. I personally feel that hotel restaurants should prioritize their own guests over external bookings. Also, while the hotel staff was generally fantastic, the electrician who came to check an issue in our room was surprisingly rude and made us feel like we were bothering him. It stood out in contrast to the otherwise excellent service. Lastly, the sauna closes at 10pm, which felt a bit early for tourists who return late — it would have been great if it stayed open until at least 11pm.

Just about everything! We stayed in #415. Had a nice view of snow clad Shymbulak resort from the room. Great location, next to 28 Paniflov park, Green Bazar, Chocolate factory, Arbat St and close to city centre. Good amenities. Good food. Above all else, very warm and welcoming staff who went out of their way to make our stay absolutely comfortable. Nnazym helped me with some antipyretic medicines overnight as the pharmacies were yet to open. Stanislav offered us late check out as my spouse was down with fever. Would specifically like to thank Stanislav, Nnazym, Akhzan, Dimash, Amira, Kairat, Emmanuel, the other African guy and others whose name I cant recall. All in all, a great stay and we will be back again !!

Nothing that can think of. Liked pretty much everything

- Very good breakfast - Comfortable and exceptionally wide beds in our twin room - Large room, lots of space - Lots of power sockets - Daily provision of drinking water bottles - Nice sauna

- Some stains on our sofa - One morning, our shower was only running very hot water, no matter the setting. On all other days, it was fine tho. - Swimming pool was a bit too cold to just chill in yet too shallow to swim and exercise in it. Also the water wasn't that clear.

The check in experience was very prompt and professionally managed. The hotel arranged for an airport pick up for me and it was available when I got off the flight. The room was adequate and comfortable, also very quiet. Breakfast was outstanding. Overall, this is a very professionally managed property, in a very, very central location, and I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

The hotel infrastructure is a bit old and could, down the line, benefit from a refresh and remodeling. Also, there was trash all over the neighbor's rooftop - although the hotel is not responsible for this, it did detract from the experience to look outside from the windows onto heaps of garbage at the neighbor's property.

All the staff were very friendly and welcoming, they gave us great information for the area. Hotel is in a perfect location to explore on foot, Ascension cathedral is only 5 min walk and there are so many things to see in a 25 minute radius. Hotel provided a shuttle service (taxi) that was very reasonable (cheaper than I could book anywhere else).

I guess our only issue was the breakfast but you have to expect a difference when you're in a relatively new tourist spot.
