Absolutely loved our stay - from the location to the staff, everything was just spot on. Hands down one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. The team there truly stood out. They weren’t just friendly and welcoming - they were professional, thoughtful, and went out of their way to make sure we were looked after. You can tell they care. The restaurant? Incredible. A great mix of western and Swahili dishes - highly recommend trying both! And I have to shout out the bartender, Stefano. He’s not just skilled (you can tell he’s been doing this a while), but he’s also just a joy to chat with. Absolute gem. The location is also super convenient - right by the ferry if you’re planning to hop across, and only about 20 minutes from the airport. So central, so easy. We didn’t get a chance to try the pool (next time for sure!), but the rooms were spotless, spacious, and the aircon? Ice cold - lifesaver on those really hot days. Honestly, if you’re heading to Dar, book this place. You’ll be glad you did.

All the staff were very friendly: Bruce the GM and Jerome his deputy went out of their way to introduce themselves and welcome us to the Hotel. The staff couldn't do enough for us. The reception organised a pick up from the ferry terminal and transport to the airport. The hotel is close to the various foreign embassies. It's close to the national museum which is worth a morning visit. And It feels safe to walk to the supermarket (a few mins away) or going the other direction it's about a 20mim walk to the centre. But Tuk Tuks are cheap and generally easy to find. The swimming pool although not deep, is a lovely oasis in the city. really enjoyed our stay.

Could do with a shower /foot wash near the pool before and after the swim.

The room was quite comfortable and a reasonable size. The bed was quite small but comfortable. While the hotel is a little out of town it is in a pleasant area and away from the chaos of town. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice.

I requested a quiet room, and in the evening faced an outside dinner with a band till about 10 30pm. The following day there were "renovations" in the next door room. Clearly staff take no notice of your requests and this was very disappointing.

Clean rooms with appropriate amenities. Hotel has recently reopened so rooms, corridors all look clean and fresh. Small gym with good equipment and a pool to relax by. I stayed a total of 3 nights and enjoyed the location. The national museum is located within an easy walk of the hotel, there is also a supermarket very close by. Many embassies appeared to be located in the hotel area. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and Bruce the manager personally greeted people during breakfast and made me feel extremely welcome. I ate dinner at the hotel on 2 occasions and enjoyed the food. Breakfast was a buffet and had a nice selection of foods and drinks.

Nothing to dislike. A couple of times I had a problem getting hot water in the shower….had to leave shower running for a while.

This newly reopened hotel is a true gem! We arrived on our anniversary and had beautiful roses and champagne as well as fruits waiting for us in our room. The stylishly decorated hotel is walking distance from the city and the ocean, but is located in a very quiet nature setting, away from busy streets, and it feels so peaceful being here. Everything is extremely clean and the staff couldn’t be any nicer! We only wanted to stay one night to take care of some business in the city, but we ended up staying 3 nights. Thank you to Jerome and his team for their kind hospitality and for making us feel so welcome! You guys are the best, and we look forward to staying with you the next time we’re in Dar.

The check was perfectly executed by Dorine. The hotel is clean and quiet—not too busy—just what’s needed for a perfectly relaxing business stay.

The air-conditioning is overly strong, the room is a smaller than expected and the quality of the furniture is standard given the selected category and the rate paid.

Very friendly hospitable staff, especially reception staff. Air-conditioned clean rooms, well designed for their size and a good comfortable mattress. Shower and bath had great water pressure and big flat screen TV with appropriate English news channels. Loved the storks in the tree tops and beautiful clean pool

The hotel is located away from the busy centre. High security and felt very safe. Staff very professional and friendly. Food was exceptional. Highly recommended

Clean my room at the door not available and my room was not made up as I kept an empty side of do not disturb as I could not find the sign.

The hotel offers very decent value for money. It only recently opened, and everything was functioning to perfection. Staff extremely helpful and friendly, and so was the general manager Bruce, who even invited me for dinner and a good glass of wine. I'll definitely come back!

Thought the rooms were very small as we were travelling with a baby so there was very little room to move with a pram Also notified the chap at reception that I was not able to adjust the room A/C temperature. He said he'd send someone straight up but no one ever arrived
