I stayed here for the second time. And this is already an indicator) We settled in early in the morning, but the staff was waiting for us. I highly recommend this place. First of all, because of the location - this, in my opinion, is the heart of Budapest. And there are also great breakfasts here! I really enjoyed walking around this area from early morning before breakfast. I plan to come back again.

Everything! Cannot fault this wonderful little hotel. The staff are fantastic, so helpful, attentive and friendly. The room was gorgeous and totally met our needs, including free soft drinks in a mini fridge! Really comfortable bed.

My only personal negative, was the air-conditioning! To get the room cool enough it was really noisy, but the manager gave me an extra key card to keep it running on low (more quietly) all day and the receptionist found me a room fan to help. I must add, I particularly struggle with night time heat and lack of fresh air, so I doubt others will be so bothered (my husband wasn't!) Oh, just one other little thing, the towels need updating! They're old and rough.

The location is great with direct bus connection to city center and walking distance to Fisherman’s Bastion. The surrounding is beautiful! Very nice breakfast.

The room is a little small.

Amazing location, beautifully designed rooms and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, and the whole hotel feels peaceful and charming. We especially loved the complimentary minibar in the room – stocked daily with soft drinks and included in the price! Such a nice touch. Parking was easy to find and safe, and if you're staying during the weekend, street parking is even free. Otherwise, you pay €25/day at the hotel when checking out, which was very convenient.

The location is really perfect. You are appearing in the medieval fairy-tale. L’occitane cosmetics has been a very pleasant addition! Breakfast is really cool - variety of foods and a-la-carte, good coffee. Such breakfast saves you a ton of money, since all decent places in Budapest are collecting so-called “service fee” (similar to “coperto” in Italy), so an alternative breakfast in another place would be a killer for your wallet. Personnel has been really nice and welcoming. Bus stops are nearby, tram-stops in a walking distance, with a very nice shopping mall Mammut. Tasty mineral water and soft drinks in the mini-bar with daily re-fill free-of-charge!

The room has been in an attic/mansard with partially sloping ceilings, so I was periodically heating my head against those ceilings. The room condition has been a bit used, no feeling of a fresh building/maintenance. Slippers and bathrobe are available only by additional request, although free-of-charge! There was smth about a welcome drink in the paper ads that they’ve given us, but either we didn’t use the coupons appropriately or they didn’t emphasize it explicitly, so we didn’t get one :(

Extremely good service and great value for money. Extremely cute rooms and a free mini bar of drinks. The free breakfast included a cup of barrista coffee and a selection of freshly made simple dishes. The quality was far beyond the standard hotel continental breakfast. We even got a free bag of breakfast on the day where we were leaving before the normal breakfast time. Just with this, you save a lot of time and money you might have otherwise spent. The location was great, quiet and very close to the historic parts of Buda. If you want to experience the Pest side of the city, then I recommend just taking a Bolt/Uber/Taxi, which is cheap - or the bus that passes very close to the hotel.

Only negative is that the ventilation of the room could have been a bit better, and the blanket was a bit too hot for comfort during the night.

The property is beautiful, authentic and well located. The staff were wonderful, hardworking and kind. Gorgeous rooms with your mini fridge being refilled daily with branded soft drinks. Beds comfortable and air con in room. Great continental breakfast with a hot option like eggs Benedict and Hungarian sausage! Easy to travel through via buses (#16) and day bus passes from the ticket machines easily located around the city! Thank you for making us feel so welcome!!! We will be returning!!

Absolutely everything. Hotel was clean and pleasant, the staff were exceptionally nice, breakfast was great. Location was perfect for our needs. It is in the Buda side a couple of minutes walk to the fisherman’s bastion and a small Christmas market and a minute walk from a bus station that takes you to the centre of Pest. We took the superior room which was spacious and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

the towels really should be replaced. I saw it in another review before booking our stay and thought it was a petty remark but TBH I get it now. They do feel like very very cheap towels and I don’t understand why the hotel does not get better ones. Having said that, it is really the only bad thing I could think of and wouldn’t stop me from going back

Great location, friendly stuff and nice beautiful rooms. We loved their choice of shower gel and we could park right in front of hotel. Reception workers speak perfect english and are helpful with tips, we even got to loan a charger.

Buffee breakfast was of a very limited choice, but wasps really enojeyed it as breakfast was outside. Alacarte choice of different eggs was basic. There was unknown fridge type of noise from behind the wall all night going on and off, made it a challenge to fall asleep. There is space to improve.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was high quality with good choice and great service. Rooms were elegant and comfortable. Free soft drinks in the mini bar was a nice bonus. Buda area was quiet & beautiful with a small selection of bars, shops and restaurants within walking distance. A welcome retreat from the bustle of the ‘Pest’ area around the river.

Small niggle but towels were small and thin, in such a lovely comfortable hotel something a little more luxurious would be nice. Also whilst the pretty courtyards would make good social areas in the Summer, a small lounge area would be welcome in Winter.
