The owners are extremely nice, hospitable and always ready to help. They also live next door to the apartments. Location was nice and close to the port and city center. Room was spacious. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Breakfast offered nice variety of choices. The attended to need quite quickly.

Unfortunately some customers aren't very respectful of the owner's property. We found black scuff marks on the walls giving the place the impression that the place wasn't well maintained. We also did not appreciate mildew found in the corners of the shower corners and base. We are confident the owners will attend to it because they are very attentive to details. The premises are actually very well maintained.

Love this little family-run place. It is clean, friendly and the rooms are fine. As a 10th birthday treat for them, I take one of my grandchildren to Lake Garda each year. This was the 3rd time I had stayed with one of them at Locanda Dogana and I'll probably stay there again in a couple of years' time when my next grandchild gets to 10 years old. It is very handy for restaurants as there are several nearby if you don't fancy the slightly longer walk into the town centre.

What's not to like? It is a small, friendly B&B in a great location for the lake, for the town, the railway station and bus stops. It does what it says on the tin.

Recently restructured, family-run, very nice and clean Bed & Breakfast, just next to the Garda lake shore and various restaurants. Very good breakfast, especially for Italian standards. I was really impressed by the owners of the place – (quite) an elderly couple, supported by a single lady only, that was managing and running the whole place in a very efficient and effective manner. Full respect to such people, who do their job professionally and with passion, and an excellent example for the younger generations!

Amazing location - right next to the lake, 10 mins on foot from the railway station. It was so peaceful and quiet there, we heard only birds singing, after a crowdy Venice it was a great place to detox and relax. Hosts were super friendly, rooms were very spacious and clean, beds - comfy. Breakfast was tasty, with various options available (cold cuts, cheeses, veggies, croissants and cakes, eggs), the host prepared us delicious cappuccino - must try!

Everything was just perfect, only one thing to mention is that would be great to have an electric kettle in the room.

Just perfect for a few nights stay, right next to the lake Garda. The hosting family was really friendly, breakfast is nice, complex and coffee was great. Highly recommended.

Check in info was a bit late, we had to call first to get the infos how to access the room (but our host was really helpful and informative).

Man who checked us in was really nice and welcoming. Breakfast had small selection but it was nice and lady serving us was pleasant. Room was very clean and modern. It has a small fridge in room which is plus. Nice balcony too.

There was a hugh noise coming from near by boat yard but house has a nice isolation so once you are in you can not hear it.

Comfortable and very clean apartment in a great location (literally a few meters from Lake Garda and several minutes of walking to the center), good breakfasts and very nice owners (we greet you warmly). Parking space right under the building We will gladly come back.

We arrived at the hotel and we had to call the owner because the reception was closed already at 9 pm, he came to the reception very quick and gave us the keys to the room. The room was big, with AC. The berkfast was really nice plus the coffe was great. The owners were very pleasent at breakfast. The hotel is 5 min walk from the old area, right near the lake. Lots of parking places.

There was no elevator (the property is only 2 floors, ground + 1st floor so the stairs weren't that long). The top shower head did not work, the other one did.

The host is very nice, we felt welcome in here. Doesn't speak much English, but we understand Italian so no issue. The location is very good, positioned within a few minutes from restaurants and center. Free safe private parking was a nice feature. The room was very very clean and comfy, with a super nice balcony having view to the water. It was very comfy, we slept very good in here. The bathroom was large and clean, everything was disinfected. Good breakfast with quality and tasty options. Also, the city itself was an amazing place, with lots of good restaurants, exceeded any expectations we had.

The room itself would use a repainting, there were marks from previous furniture pieces on the walls, but everything was clean, it was only visually.
