Wonderful staff, incredible view from the upper terrace room.

It’s a bit far from anywhere (on top of a hill overlooking all of La Spezia) so make sure you have a car. There’s plenty of free parking on the street. Unfortunately our rental car broke down the day before we arrived so we had no car and had to take taxis to get down and up. But this was our issue not the hotel. So they were 100% wonderful. Great for couples looking for a romantic destination.

The room was like in the pictures, good size, cosy, modern and clean. All the comfort you can expect for a good stay + that incredible view (Sirocco room). Furthermore, the place and location are wonderful: spectacular view on the sea, the bay, the mountains and the city of La Spezia. But most of all, the staff, the owners and family are lovely and made me feel like being home. Also, they're available and very helpful in giving information to explore the city and the Cinque Terre. Last but not least, if you choose it you'll have a good and varied breakfast on one of the most spectacular terrace I've seen in two years travelling. Thank you, my stay has been special and I'll remember it.

Great room, everything as new, well taken care of and super clean. There was a mini bar and a deliveryservice which is good for late arrivals as there are no shops around. The landlady was very nice, and gave good advice on how to enter cinque terre etc. She runs the flats very professional. The view on the whole city was amazing.

Actually all was fine. Only disadvantage if you wanne call it like that was the location on top of the hill which makes it dificult to walk home from a restaurant in la spezia. But there are taxis. Walking down to the city is no big deal as you walk down the hill.

Good place to stay. Fabulous views and very pleasant host. Room has had the air conditioner and the fridge. Breakfasts were ok, however, the menu was the same during the whole stay, maybe some different options of continental breakfast could be more pleasant.

Access to private parking could be difficult (or even impossible) for cars bigger than Audi A3. Place is on top the hill, so old town where 98% of restaurants are, is relatively far away from the place, so it is advisable to call the taxi for this.

An amazing view was the best part! I was also in an accident while in Italy so I arrived with a cast on my arm. The family couldn’t have been more accommodating to me and my husband. We were able to take a ferry to the Cinque Terre spots. The views are beautiful from the boat. Great restaurants in the villages. The hosts help with explaining where to go and what to do. We were there 4 days.

Everything was great. Just be aware that the stairs and navigation could be challenging for some. Again the family was super helpful and accommodating as I was banged up.

Most of all, it was about the owner snd staff. They couldn’t do enough to help us and it made our stay a happy and memorable one! The views over La Spezia and the sea were absolutely beautiful.

The only potential negative is the location which is outside the town, but without this, you wouldn’t get the wonderful views. We went on tours everyday which minimized the number of taxis we took.

Very clean, very nice receptionist, cheaper than staying in one of the villages in Cinque Terre

The view was partially obstructed by scaffolding from construction and I don’t recall it was stated anywhere. The room is quite small but covers basic needs. The breakfast is not included and not cheap. Some walking from the free parking to the place and some stairs to care your luggage. Location is not walking distance from town or from the train and having a car is mandatory if you stay here. Overall nice and sufficient for one night though.

Location is not the best. Even when it's not far in terms of distance, the fact of being up on a hill makes it a little complicated to go to the center walking

Fantastic service, fantastic view, probably the best view in La Spezia 😃. FThe receptionist was extremely servicemindede. She guided us so well with lots of good tips. She was there for us 24/7. The owner was also very helpful, we felt very welcome! If we ever return to La Spezia, 88 Miglia will defently be our number one destination!

the view was spectacular! the staff was super helpful with everything and even gave us a ride into town when they were leaving as well. comfortable room with view to the Gulf of Poets. the terrace offers a panoramic view. 25 mins walk to the train station to take the train to Cinque Terre.
