Loved that this hotel did not have carpeting. I also loved the path to the beach and the cleaning station/shower for cleaning up afterward.

The only thing I would change would be get a few of those cheap beach towels to keep in the room for the guests instead of the white ones. Most people traveling won't want to pack them. I would also suggest maybe buying a broom and dustpan for each room. We inevitably tracked in sand and had no way of cleaning up after ourselves.

The staff made me feel comfortable. I like being able to go outside my room door to smoke and being able to walk to the beach.

I didn't like that there isn't a laundry facility or ice machine. Otherwise, it wasn't bad.

The checkin was super easy, and the room was nice and clean and very spacious with lots of storage. The outdoor lounge was awesome there was a fire pit and a ping pong table, corn hole, along with an outdoor kitchen, refrigerator and plenty of seats with umbrellas to take out to the beach. The private beach access was beautiful the boardwalk up to the ocean felt like an adventure and the beach wasn’t crowded at all even with school being out now. Plenty of options on Uber eats for food deliveries and lift picks up out here as well. And plenty of things to do nearby within walking or bike distance me and my husband rode bikes to the Aquarium in 20 minutes!

Everything was great.

Christina was phenomenal. Super friendly AND she upgraded our room at no additional cost. We had an issue flushing our toilet but she IMMEDIATELY had us in a new room and apologized several times. Everytime we saw her she was diligently working. This girl deserves a huge raise.

I have no complaints, other than the path to get to the beach. Some of the steps seemed a little sketchy to me, and the steps were very steep. This would be hard for some elderly I’m sure

The new decor and atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous 🥰🤩! The bikes were awesome too! I loved the fact the original boardwalk was still intact that me and my Mama walked on back in 2008 ❤️

The only thing I can think of was that it needed room darkening curtains. I work night shift so it was hard to sleep in. (And an ice maker is needed but not a deal breaker, there were two stores directly across the street that had ice so that was no problem)

The room was more than adequate in size. The bathroom and shower was larger than we have at home. Nice kitchenette with 2 eye stove top, microwave, small fridge, pots,pans, utensils. Private access to the beach via boardwalk. Bed and pillows comfortable. Hard surface floors were easy to be swept clean of sand. Dollar General across the street. We liked sitting by the fire pit at night. Should have brought s’mores.

Even though it’s dog friendly, the rate per night , per dog seemed high, especially after Labor Day Maybe that’s typical these days. Stayed at other places, years ago, just a deposit.

My wife and I wanted to get away for the weekend. It was a super short walk to the beach on private access. The room was clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the sitting area outside. The price was very affordable.

There really isn't anything we didn't like. They are remodeling. The room we stayed in was not a remodeled room, but like I said, it was clean and comfortable.

Loved the room we had. It was clean and quiet. Beds are comfortable and overall room is very nice. Good Hot shower. Very nice sitting area to relax and a private walk to the beach and not crowded at all. My husband and I stayed one night but wish we could have stayed two nights and if we could have we most likely would. The lady checked us in was very sweet and down to earth. The man that was helping her was really cool too. Again we loved our stay. I recommend staying here.

The location and price were very nice. I can't believe we found a nice room that close to the beach in our budget, We usually have to find a room about an hour away for that price, although it was in the off-season. It's a no-frills room, but let's face it, if you're there, you'll probably be there for the beach mostly anyway. The first thing I noticed when I opened the door was that it spelled nice and clean instead of musty and dusty like other places we had been in during our trip. The beds were actually nice and didn't break our backs. I think it was the first night in 3 days that we actually got a decent night's sleep. There were plenty of towels and washcloths, the bathroom was clean. There was a nice-sized functional TV, a very nice AC unit, and a small fridge as well. The staff were friendly, efficient, and professional, which was great.

The only thing that was missing in our room that was on the room listing was the microwave, but that wasn't a big deal. If we want some hot food and have access to a microwave we'll go to a local grocery store and grab something to heat up, but if not we stick to vegetables and make salads instead. I think the building we were in had just been renovated, so I figure that piece will eventually be added to the room. Everything else was in the room, and all our basic needs were more than covered.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apt and loved it. It was very clean and comfortable. The short walk to the beach was perfect. The beach area was not busy or crowded. Lots of space between families. Also, Christina took great care of us and made us feel very welcome! We have already booked again for August!
