The Good Hotel Antigua was honestly the best hotel I've stayed at to date. The staff were so kind and attentive throughout my stay. Everyone greeted you with a smile and wanted to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I never tell hotels when it is my birthday as I am usually out for the whole day but Good Hotel surprised me by decorating my room, giving me a present and leaving a heartwarming message. I also love that the proceeds of your stay goes towards helping children in the local community. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is in the old town and within walking distance to many restaurants and museums but still quiet at night.

This was a really great hotel with friendly staff. The room was huge, there was good water pressure with plenty of hot water, the AC worked great and the bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was super clean. I liked that it was a bit off the beaten path and quiet, but not far away or inconvenient. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again

Honestly, these are nits but - the lighting in the room is frankly terrible...it'd dark, even with the lights on, unless you open the curtains but the window is ground level directly on the courtyard so opening the curtain is not an option - it was a bit of a pain to get ready/find things - not a problem but our bed was upstairs and bathroom downstairs, so just know that for having to use the restroom in the night - cafe doesn't open til 8 and no lobby coffee - theres no drawers or closet or hanging rack...just a couple of nobs on the wall which were not at al sufficient for hanging things (we were in town for a wedding with a formal dress and suit so being able to hang it would've been great)

A wonderful hotel that is part of a charity so the profits go to good causes. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were really friendly. It's in a quiet location on the edge of the centre. This has the positive that it's quiet and is only a 5 minute walk to the main square. The restaurant next door is also good and is only open until 9pm which helps keep evening noise down.

The location is on the edge of the centre but this is not really a big issue as ita still very close to everything and there are some great bars, shops, restaurants and cafes in the surrounding streets.

The staff are fantastic, beautiful hotel and common area. It was my second time at the Good Hotel because they left a great impression first time around and did not disappoint.

The space could be designed to have better surfaces for storage when you're staying out of a suitcase. More bench space to put luggage on, more counter space in the bathroom etc. This is really on minor details though.

This is one of my favorite hotels and I love that they have an element of serving the community as part of their mission. Hotel staff are always great here. The bonus of having Saul (restaurant) connected to the property is fantastic. The "barn door" bathroom with both a bath tub and a shower is a really nice touch. It's also a bonus that the room had air conditioning which can be rare to find in Antigua.

Some may feel the rooms are decorated a bit spartanly but it's really just a question of aesthetic tastes. If anything, we didn't like that we didn't get to stay longer because of our travel schedule.

Everything. I have another review of this hotel for another room that we stayed in during December 2023 with more details. Depending upon availability, whenever we are in Antigua this will always be one of the first hotels we think of.

The only thing we didn't like about this particular stay was that we didn't realize that Saul (the attached restaurant) closes at 6pm on (most? all?) Sundays but there is a tremendous selection of bars and restaurants literally on the other side of the block.

Beautiful property, fantastic location, great staff. The free coffee 24/7 is a highlight. Great mattresses, had some of the best sleep here at night.

The room design could make more efficient use of the space available but this is a minor point. There was very loud pumping music during the day, I think from the hostel next door, which would make working from here or resting during the day difficult.

Gorgeous property. The rooms were minimalistic and aesthetically pleasing. Very big and spacious and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Nice shower with hot water. Staff was friendly. Cafe next door with coffee and all meals.

It is a little further from the town center which was nice because it was quiet but it was a little bit of a walk (~10 min, so not bad).

The courtyard the rooms surround was so beautiful, like a mini rainforest oasis. The room was immaculately clean with a modern, yet natural design. The bed super comfortable. My favorite part was the volcano that peeked over the outdoor shower wall. Would travel back to Antigua just to stay here again.
