It was a beautiful location, very comfortable beds, lovely little kitchen and great shower room. The whole place was well equipped with everything you could need, felt like you were staying in a lovely little cottage

We did get a bit lost looking for it, as we were looking for the name Greenacre we had been given higher up as most properties had the nme on the gate, we didn't realise the name was down on the ground so missed it. But then went back and found it ok. A little sign saying how to pull the key out of the front door would have saved a few mins fiddling too!

Nice self contained flat, part of a larger house in a residential area of Church Stretton, 20 minutes walk uphill from the station. Very comfortable beds, decent shower room, coffee ,tea & milk made available in the kitchenette/ sitting area. TV, toaster, fridge there for use. Good for 2 people.

Unfortunately we arrived by train when the weather was awful. It meant having to walk around with rucksacks that we would have liked to have dropped some of the contents of, off. As entry time was after 4pm , we did contact the property to ask, but no reply.

Superb location within an area of outstanding natural beauty with views of the hills and lovely walks direct from the house. Our host was very friendly and made sure we had everything that we needed and more. There was plenty of space in the rooms and the most comfortable bed, perfect for a short holiday break. Although the nearest town was a bit too far for us to walk, there were plenty of shops, good pubs and a brilliant antique centre within a mile of the property.

There was nothing that we didn't like

A lovely warm welcome from the owners. They have thought of everything from motion sensor lights, spare glasses, lots of local information and much more. The steep hill from Church Stretton was a challenge after a long bike ride but it was well worth it. The location is really quiet.

The steep hill, but not a problem if you arrive by car. I prefer a dark bedroom for sleeping so we were awake at the crack of dawn but this was not a problem

Breakfast: Very nice. I liked the additional fruit offered. The cereals were just what I happen to like. I asked for more milk and the owner responded almost immediately. The flat was very thoughtfully laid out with great additional touches; raincoats, shoe horn etc, in case you should need those things. It felt very spacious with an additional room for eating breakfast and watching tv. The second tv was a bonus. Good WiFi. Lovely big, King Size bed.

I couldn't find a good knife to cut the fruit with. I hadn't realised the property was on a very steep, long hill. As we were on foot this would have been good to know ahead of our visit.

Quaint accommodation in a beautiful location. The large bed was very comfortable with a heated under blanket which kept me nice a cosy. Lots of thoughtful additional amenities such as rain coat/ earplugs. Cute breakfast basket. The accommodation was very clean. Great communication with the host.

Not in the hosts control but just to be aware steep mile walk back from town and no local taxis servicing the area when we stayed. Lovley natural light but bring an eye mask if you're a light sleeper.

Great hospitality of the host Bridget with remarkable attention of the details in the lodge, making very comfortable our stay. Lovely surroundings of the Shropshire hills, with amazing walks with wonderful views, these walks are close to the Hazler Lodge. Finally, It is pretty the local town of Church Stretton, I'd definitely recommend to have a meal to King's Arms Pub good selection of draft ales and mouth-watering food.

Everything was great

The lodge is beautiful, clean and extremely well provisioned. The toiletries and having fire TV were excellent. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast hamper was great. A lovely table in the sun and board games were also very welcome.

If you didn't have a car it would be a long walk to the nearest restaurant/the train station. Also just FYI if you follow Google maps it takes you to the top of Hazler road which isn't the directions provided by the host, and the location is approximately 4 houses in and labelled green acre (signs for this aren't particularly obvious either)

Situation. Facilities. The thoughtful extras. Nothing else we could have needed. Accessibility to host if anything went wrong. Thank you.

There was a very large step into the property which was a challenge to get over due to Inherent difficulties with mobility. A little dusty in places.

Easy to get to and access. Lots of nice touches , extras . We did meet the host and she was very friendly and concerned that all was to our liking. Excellent wifi and electronic charging.

As there were no cooking facilities apart from a microwave, but there was a microwave egg poacher, so maybe include some eggs for breakfast . Just as a note for others with some physical limitations like us, the front entrance has a steep step to get in and out, and the bath /shower is deep. A grab rail would help.
