Excellent staff, very attentive to guests requests. Excellent breakfast. Food was varied on each day. Well stocked every morning. Hot and fresh. Clean dining room. Pool was warm enough to be comfortable with plenty of towels, chairs, and good access. Vending machines had some nice options for late night snacks.

Carpeting was dirty in our room. But the hotel cleaned the carpets while we were our for the day. Much better afterwards. Furniture in the room isn't well organized. Not enough power sockets where the appliances are located.

from checking in I felt a warm welcome! even tho they had a wedding on this day they still made us feel at home.i special requested the first floor and they honored that. Exceptional customer service by gentleman that checked us in. also the ladies cleaning the rooms was super friendly! we definitely will book again . we all slept comfortably. kudos to this hotel!!

the only thing I wish they had was . a hot tub . but that would not change us from booking again.

We booked a suite for me, my hubby, and our toddler — who slept in her pack n play in the living area with the pull out couch — and although all was clean a separate / addition HVAC unit would have been great in each room for optimal temp control vs just the window unit in the main bedroom . Temp control is very important when you have little ones under 2 yrs old . But we had a great stay regardless .

This property is located adjacent to the interstate which was convenient for me as I was just there for a quick overnight stay for a book signing. The front desk was very friendly when I checked in and out. There is a Wendy's and an Arby's right next door and several other places to eat close by. My room was a king suite which was very comfortable, clean and quiet. There was a microwave and mini fridge in the room. Ice available on the first floor. I'm not a breakfast eater so I can't comment on the food, but it looked nice. Waffles, cereal, bagels, bacon. I was able to fill up my thermos with nice hot coffee before I headed home. The pool and gym were well maintained.

There was a pleasant air freshener in my room, but it was a tad strong.

I enjoyed our room and the breakfast.

I didn't like the noise above us on the first night and also the young people having a beer gathering at the front of the motel as you entered. It would have been better if there was a place other than the front for them to have a beer gathering.

My suite was quite comfortable, with separate sitting area/kitchen (with full-size refrigerator, microwave, stove, and dishwasher) and bedroom. There were TVs in both rooms. The climate system worked well, and there was adequate lighting. Breakfast was reasonably good for a buffet-style hotel breakfast

The kitchen included no plates, glassware, or silverware, just a couple of pans. There was no housekeeping at all, though that information was clearly stated at check-in. I assume they would have complied with a request for housekeeping if asked.

We stayed a day in this hotel. Unexpectedly it was clean and nice. Furniture is new , room is clean and cozy, no weird smells, breakfast was delicious. Overall experience was excellent. We enjoyed our stay. It was the cleanest hotel we stayed for this price in IL.

We liked everything about this hotel. The location was perfect for our needs.The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was super friendly. Breakfast was very good with hot items and plenty of choices. We enjoyed the heated pool.

I didn't like the waffle maker area. It was messy and had waffle batter all over the place. Someone should monitor the area where people are serving themselves breakfast and need to keep the waffle maker clean.

It was a lovely room. It has a door between the bedroom and the rest of the large area. Everything was spotlessly clean. The AC unit was really quiet. There was a continuous noise which I first thought was traffic, but could have been white noise; either way, it seemed relaxing. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We didn't sample the breakfast as we slept late, but there was an excellent Cracker Barrel next door. We will be booking this hotel next time we visit this area.
