My stay at this hotel was a mixed experience. Upon arrival at 1 am, the overnight staff's professionalism and warm welcome were commendable, setting a positive tone for my stay. However, my experience took a sharp turn when I encountered Jay at the front desk. His rude demeanor, accompanied by dismissive hand gestures and even going as far as calling me "crazy" behind the manager's back, greatly detracted from the otherwise welcoming atmosphere. As someone who had traveled from Canada to attend a funeral, I was already in a vulnerable state and did not anticipate such treatment. Nevertheless, the situation was salvaged by the prompt intervention of the lady manager, who handled the matter with grace and respect. Her professionalism and willingness to address the issue were commendable, ultimately mitigating the impact of Jay's behavior. In summary, while the initial impression of the hotel was positive thanks to the overnight staff's hospitality, the encounter with Jay was regrettable. However, the effective resolution by the manager reaffirmed my faith in the establishment's commitment to guest satisfaction

Mr. Junior (the black young men). Wow!! He is the PERFECT employee for Holiday Inn. He does it all for the dinning area and the kitchen alone. I was in the lobby watching him work 30 minutes before the dinning area opened. He fixed the coffee in the lobby made sure menus were on the tables. Made sure tables were clean and chairs were straight. He greeted all with a smile he looked stressed but was WELL capable of handling the job. He is doing the job of four and probably under PAID!! If I needed an employee I would offer it to him, he is the perfect example of a OUTSTANDING employee. Junior took orders, brought water and coffee, and answered incoming calls, cooked to order meals arranging them neatly on our plates, and our carry out orders he made sure everything was verified in our bags. We made sure he received a nice tip to compensate his low wage. Mr. Junior you are the best!!

While sitting in the lobby I heard the front desk person tell a manager “Yes Junior is here”. Wow he came right in probably an hour ahead to make sure the dinning area could open at 6:00 am. I left something (Power Charger) in my room when I called I was told it was not found but when I insisted on looking in my room it was found in a drawer. I drove an hour to retrieve it. I think his name was Tramale, he did have my name phone number and room number on the item in the front drawer. But he did not inform the next front desk staff member it was there. So when I arrived he said it was not in the drawer I told him to look again. He found it!

The staff was absolutely amazing The facility was clean

There was a ridiculous amount of noise and laughter up til 130am in the Lobby and couldn’t get sleep but when I called the front desk they asked them to leave the area I would highly recommend a time to not conjugate in the main lobby with rooms right there and people trying to get sleep

The facility was so clean, and the staff was so professional and courtesy. The breakfast and the staff were AMAZING! We were expecting a smaller breakfast. OMG! I usually stay at another hotel, but I think I am back at the Hilton permanently. I LOVED it!!

Location was nice, We were in town for a 5k that was at the high school not even a mile away. It was simple to get to. My friend had mentioned how the building itself looked nice when we parked. Breakfast was good on our second morning.

There were two elevators, our first trip up to our room on the 4th floor, the front desk clerk had to come "reset" the elevator which also made us wait for 3 minutes before having to take said elevator up. Next time trying to go down it wouldn't work, had to take the stairs. Breakfast doesn't start until 7, which is late if you want to get something to eat before an early morning event like we had.

That it was clean inside and out. The staff was very welcoming.

We had a door handle that was loose, but maintenance came right up and fixed it. So that really wasn’t A problem either.

Check out time was Noon and that it was close to a lot areas, especially the location for our visit.

That one of the housekeepers came to our door at 11am trying to get in and she used the key good thing I had the lock pad latched or she would of just walked in and she came back at 11:30 again and I told her check out was at 12pm. She did apologize but I hope she doesn’t do that often.

Simple fast check in! Clean plenty of towels in our room. Comfortable beds and the heater/ac was quiet and allowed u to keep the fan running all night!( Makes it easier for us to sleep) frig and microwave and TV had plenty of channels for the kids. We loved the easy 40 min commute to Lego Land and easy 30 mins commute to Chicago shedd aquarium. If ur going to Chicago be sure n pay to park online way cheaper then lots. Huge swimming pool, hot tub and sauna tons of chairs around the indoor pool to sit in also plenty of towels in pool area very well maintained

As w most hotels u have to pay extra for breakfast we don't like that so we chose Denny's down they road!! They was super yummy we are Denny's 2 mornings
