Beds here have always been comfortably firm. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. :) Free bicycle loan is really a nice addition, as is the free bus service to and from the Festspielhaus.

Pillows are rather wimpy, however. My partner thought it was odd to see a staff member in the breakfast room setting out a tip jar. Odd in the sense that neither of the breakfast staff interacted with us in any way except to ask the room number. I don’t tip for that.

Organised very well for the festival period. Very helpful staff. Offered shuttle service to the festival house. Good location only 5 mins walk from the main centre.

Rooms at the front face the main road and could be noisy. Gym equipment was very limited . Limited evening dinner menu.

I liked everything, very good hotel, cozy and familiar, impecable staff and very good bedroom, we used it to visit our daughter who is studying in the city, she was on examination period and used the hotel services for breakfast and to be with us while studying.

I give 1 suggestion, the bar should have some sandwiches, maybe chicken, regular burguer and soup in the menu, at night when we don't want to get out and just heat a light meal

Room was clean and good amount of space, quiet room at the back of the hotel with little road noise, short walk into town centre and bus stops nearby, breakfast was very good

Water pressure in shower was low. They do serve food in the evening but it is a small selection, it is a pity the do not have a restaurant.

The stay was to coincide with the opera festival. The staff were courteous and always helpful. Transport arrangements to the operas were very efficient. Post-opera meals were available and very pleasant. Breakfasts were good with a lot of choice. The air conditioning (necessary in the heat) was quiet and effective. The hotel and was quiet at night - a plus. The location was good for walking to the town centre and local shops. The room was spacious and comfortable. Secure parking was another plus. Overall, the hotel was fully geared to cater for the festival. All pleasant.

A good choice for the festival, a coach to and from was provided. Good selection of food options available at most times of day. Short walk into town to see the shops and museums and so on.

Probably not unique to this hotel, but accommodation prices at festival time are very high indeed.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times before and again it lived up to my expectation.

In the superior room we took we were unaware that the minibar was complimentary until at checkout. I had asked if this was so on checking in but was told it was not. To be fair to the receptionist I might have been confused with my son's room who had a non up graded room.

The breakfast and dinner were excellent. All of the hotel staff were wonderful and professional to deal with.

I believe the towels could have been better. I found them to be very thin, small and a little stiff.

Breakfast excellent in options available. Some Guests (German) pushy bordering on rudeness. Staff tried their best. A tad chaotic unfortunately. Staff at other times and location [Bar, Food service, Reception] most friendly, accommodating and aiming to please.
