Good location close to the centre of Box Hill and across the park from the hospitals, the rooms are tiny (I'm 6'3") but livable. Please note, check if you need an accessible apartment. This one would be no good for wheelchairs, no rails on the toilet. I'm guessing the accessible room is not what I was placed in. Please ASK directly before booking an accessible room. Some with a big balcony, great soft beds, and a nice, clean, well-maintained place Good set up for a simple kitchen with a conv/microwave and a hotplate, not many cooking pots and pans if you want to banquet, but great for the basic Bacon, egg and cheese toasters or steak n chips.

Soft seats in kitchen chairs would be great, and egg flipper in utensils.

Bedroom was a good size, kitchen & living small but functional. Having a washer & dryer was a big bonus. Great location- 5min walk from the Boxhill train station, which was located under a shopping mall & food court, that also houses 2 supermarkets & chemist. Easy to get into the city centre by a 35-40min train ride, perfect for resting legs after walking all day.

Great location for our stay in Melbourne eastern suburbs. We could access secure parking at the City Edge. Staff very helpful with provision of additional towels during our short stay over Christmas when no regular housekeeping visits planned. Room had a kitchenette and washing machine. City Edge very close to Melbourne train lines, and also has good access to supermarket and restaurants.

Microwave in kitchen is at virtual floor level meaning much bending to access it. Good sized bed, but mattress was a tad firm for our liking.

Good affordable accommodation in great location for accessing eastern suburbs and CBD by train. Spacious room, well equipped kitchen and bathroom with washing machine. Secure undercover car parking provided (and complimentary as staying over Xmas- thanks, much appreciated)

One spring on double bed "went" during our stay. Hair-dryer provided in room dud not work.

Small apartment but all we needed for 1 night near the hospital. Everything was clean and comfortable

Hotel located down a small street. We were greeted outside the hotel with a "rough sleeper" who promptly let himself into the hotel reception area when we went in. He was obviously high on something so we were a little anxious when we first arrived. Hotel staff did not know how to handle him, but after I offered to call him a taxi, he left the hotel peacefully.

I had a balcony with outdoor furniture that I was able to sit outside and have a meal. I slept really well in the bed. The pillows were lovely and soft. The location was close to shops and supermarkets for buying items for meals and very close to a great park where I could go for a walk. I didn't want a restaurant meal but there were lots of asian restaurants and cafes that I could have eaten at had I felt like it.

I managed to lock my card in my room as I was leaving and then had to wait for someone to rescue me as I couldn't access the lift without a room card. I tried calling down to the Reception but it was unattended when I called.

Easy checkin. Great location for access to shops and restaurants. Perfect vase for our stay visiting family and friends in eastern suburbs As a repeat customer was offered complimentary secure parking.

Room had cups, mugs and water glasses but no wine glasses

Good location close to hospitals. Quiet, comfortable. Great shower. Parking was convenient and safe.

Room was nice and clean, but entrance to building could do with a clean.

Proximity to the hospital. Had everything l needed. Good facilities in the room.

The room smelled like rotting onion but went once l aired it out. I felt a deep clean hadn't been done for a while. Like the bare minimum cleaned from the last person that stayed. Tv not in a great location to watch in bed.

Great place to stay, near the Box Hill Park and near the hospital (I had an appointment there) as well as close to town, trains and trams. Lovely apartment. Room and bed is comfortable and everything you need including crockery and cutlery, microwave and top cooker, plus everything works well. Staff are friendly and helpful and I asked for a room at the end of the corridor and received that. Overall I was very pleased at staying at City Edge hotel and apartments.

I had trouble using the little lift at the front for my luggage and had to ask the staff to help me use it. Also the owners should ask Box Hill Council to replant the nature strip at the front on the street as it looks a bit barren and untidy.
