The hotel was fabulous! We had a suite that was large enough for 6 people. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and shower were immense. Breakfast in the morning was beyond expectation. The staff was very courteous and most helpful at all times. The receptionist was very kind who, because we could not get dinner the first night, personally made us small sand-wiches to eat! She was exceptional and so sweet! We would recommend this hotel always!

The only negative aspect of this hotel was it was a long distance on foot from the train station. There are NO taxis in town and no instructions how to get to the hotel. Because we could not speak German, finding our way to the hotel on foot with luggage in tow for 80 year olds, was a 50 minute unbearable hike! Smoking was allowed on the hotel premises and it could be smelled throughout the hotel at times although our suite was non smoking. There was a cigarette odor immediately upon entering the lobby.

Lovely hotel in a quiet location about 700m from the town. Check in staff were very friendlly. Clear communication in advance of our arrival. Rooms were very nice with comfortable beds and nice pillows (unlike most hotels in germany with soft pillows). Breakfast room is nice and spacious with a good spread. WIFI was effective. We have the junior sutie which is highly recommended and excellent value for money - as it also comes with an attached room - so ideal for a family of 4. Location is perfect - we had dinner at a mexican restaurant called El puente which was about 700m. Happy hour for most of the evening. Sufficient free parking space. Highly recommended

Nothing to complain..

Fantastic view from our two balconies. A healthy selections for breakfast, love the walking path next to the stream, a good 15minutes walk to Oberammagau station if you enjoy walking. Spa in the evening was relaxing (booking must be made in due in on that day so the staff can prepare the facilities in advance (Management was quick to respond to rectify a minor hiccup due to miscommunication so we are happy with the outcome). Overall, the management team are attentive and respectful. The hotel cleanliness is commandable indicative that the place is cared for and they value their business.

Not much of a negative here. It would be lovely to have access to hot water (maybe near to the vending machine) so guests could have warm/hot beverages for the evening. Or perhaps giving guests the option, during breakfast time, to book advance order for hot drinks in the evening...

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast buffet. The local is a bit outside of the city center but still in walking distance and the view is nice. Plenty of space for parking.

Room description mentioned a desk inside the room, it was more of a coffee table/tv stand in height and made working a little difficult. If you travel for leisure or don’t have to work during your stay at the hotel it’s good.

Good and rich breakfast for all tastes. Parking is available but it was always full. We left the car on the street near the hotel. I liked that the hotel had a sauna, but it would be nice if it was available for a longer period of time.

There was no easy-to-use shower gel (it was available in small packages).

Breakfast was delicious and there were lots of options, hotel is very eco-friendly, spectacular views, easily walk to the heart of Oberammergau, parking available on site.

Door to the bathroom was see-through so there was no privacy without rigging up an towel or blanket to block it, and there was no hot water/coffee machine in the room to make coffee and tea after the breakfast is closed.

International breakfast very good and always full

I asked several times to clean my room from dust because I am allergic. Only 1 or 2 time where done. For this reason I don't give full 5 stars.

Excellent breakfast with very thoughtful gluten free options (requested). Lovely room with a terrace to relax on. Spa room sauna and steam relax was wonderful after the travel. Hosts very nice and friendly. Lovely small town. Will come again and highly recommend.

We got a suite and it was really spacious and the kids have space to play around. The bathroom was spacious too and had a bathtub. That helps when showing the kids!

Nothing. Perhaps there is no kettle and mini fridge in the room but that’s not too bad as we brought our own milk warmer now as we experienced the same in the previous hotel.

The place is very welcoming and quite Breakfast was very good The views from the hotel are very nice There is a nice small stream just behind the hotel and you can have a nice walking along it to the center
