Great find close to Haneda with a free bus shuttle to the airport. The room is small but good by Japan standards. Have stayed in a lot of smaller places. The bed was super comfortable. And the free breakfast is actually quite good as long as you are okay with traditional Japanese food. I loved it. Also close to the train station for access to everywhere. Great value too, especially when you take into account the breakfast and the shuttle bus.

Breakfast served from 4:30 to 10, convenient for people with early flights from Haneda. Excellent selection of breakfast items catering to both Western and Japanese tastes. Good selection of herbal teas available during the day, as well as coffee and instant soup. Rooms larger than those in some business hotels. Close to JR station and easy to find: turn left out of station, walk to the canal, turn right, walk a short distance; the hotel faces the canal.

The breakfast selection was the same every day. The breakfast room was small and one day our trays and dishes were snatched from under our noses as a hint to hurry up and leave.

I stayed at Kamata Inn Social for one night before my flight back to the USA. For the price, I was very pleased with the staff and facilities. It is extremely close to the train station and an easy walk to many shopping/eating areas. The room was small, as to be expected, but it was very quiet at night. The bathroom was small but had all that I needed with a good shower and water pressure. Having the kimono to walk around was a great touch! I did not eat the complimentary breakfast, but it was nice that it was offered. For the price and location, I would return to Kamata Inn Social.

My only complaint is that the signage outside the inn is ONLY IN JAPANESE. I walked past the inn several times not realizing that it was the hotel! I had to ask a 7-11 store clerk to help me find the inn. Some kind of sign in ENGLISH would have been very helpful.

I had 7 nights trip in Japan, using the Haneda airport. I spent the first and last two nights in Kamata, and this hotel is just over my expectation. This small business hotel offers everything you might need for short stay, to make you feel more comfortable. The staffs are kind and willing to help. I was so impressed when they offered to drive me to Nippon-rent-a- car office nearby Haneda airport, and also their shuttle bus service to Haneda airport which made everything easier especially when you travel with elderly. From Haneda airport, you can go there by bus to JR Kamata station, then 6 minute walking distance to the hotel. I think it's more comfortable than using monorail train to Keikyu-Kamata station.

Excellent hotel excellent staff albeit they could learn a little bit more English to male things easier for both parties breakfast every morning and free shuttle to airport walking distance from 2 train station and also a bustling shopping area nearby with lots of food options

The shower was very small and the TV had no English channels

The hotel is about 45mins from central Tokyo. But it's an easy commute. The best thing about Kamata was the town it self and the free transport to Kaneda airport which was about 30mins by car. The town, Kamata has shops and restaurants and a good atmosphere.

Of course the main attraction is the great price and easy commute to Hanada airport. But for getting into Tokyo...it's easy with Google maps. But can be time consuming.

Nicely located for airport transit, in an interesting area to wander whilst waiting. Reception helpful and friendly. Room exceedingly clean, decent size albeit a small bathroom with a big step up. Airport shuttle very much appreciated. Would recommend and stay again.

Mattress very firm. Breakfast looked great we didn’t stay long felt a bit out of place and in their way.

Breakfast was superb. Free transfer to airport was very welcome. Location had no lack of food options for both young and old, solo or family. Once you are there, you will be spoilt for choice. Excellent value.

Room is small but negotiable. With infants it can be a challenge. Young kids will be fine. It was a bit of a walk from the train station if u don't know the way. Elevator can be dangerous for young children as it closes very fast and it is not the modern type where there are sensors to prevent closing in on fingers and toes.

Great place to stay before a flight! The free airport shuttle was very convenient, and together with the excellent free breakfast it made the stay really good value for money. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and a train station within walking distance.

The furniture in the room was a bit old and mismatched. It wasn’t a problem for us, but I can imagine it might not suit everyone.

For the low cost of my stay for 1 night, the value is worth it for the wonderful breakfast and free shuttle to the airport. It was about a 10 minute walk from the Keikyu Kamata train station (280 yen one way from Haneda airport). I would advise to only bring a carry on to the hotel since there won't be much space in the hotel room or the train station. I left my check in luggages at the coin lockers in Haneda airport for 600 yen each. There are a lot of restaurants and convenience stores nearby the hotel. Lawson is only 1-2 minute walk away for snacking needs. There's a Don Quijote 6 minute walk away for souvenirs. I reserved a slot in the shuttle days before the trip and when I checked in they confirmed it for me. I ended up being the only passenger in the shuttle. I thought they'd want to fill it up before going to the airport but we left as soon as I went down to the lobby. I was very pleased for the outstanding service during my stay.

The walls are a little thin but you can't ask for much for the low price that includes free breakfast and shuttle to the airport.
