We have stayed at the Commercial Hotel a number of times and have never had any problems. Comfort and cleanliness has always been up to standard but I think they must have spring cleaned or have a new cleaning crew because the room was really clean (skirting boards, windows and bathroom etc.) - thank you. My husband is usually working so the proximity to town when I don't have transport is also very important to me when booking accommodation and the fact I just cross the yard and I get a good value meal in the Hotel. Also there is a small shopping centre just up the road for any necessities and goods for breakfast.

The addition of an Air Conditioner which not so much on this occasion but on others when we have stayed would have been very welcome.

The room was clean, well appointed, and the beds were very comfortable. I was amazed to find they provided queen-size towels, unlike every other hotel I've ever stayed in... a definite A+, in my opinion.

I was disappointed to find Zero methods of disposal for cigarette butts around the guest area, as there were several discarded bumpers littering the ground outside my room. Perhaps they could provide a means of disposal in the future?

This was the closest accommodation we could get to go to the Bathurst car racing, property was clean and was good for what we needed it for

A bit dated, could hear people drinking in the pub was loud but wasn’t to much of a problem

I found it easy to get to and from different places and order online was so easy and quick I will highly recommend people come stay at the commercial hotel motel

honestly it was a nice room for the money I spent and the bed was comfortable. the fan was a great addition as was the sink in the bedroom. wardrobe came in handy because I needed to hang up my wedding attire. PowerPoints were all located conveniently and the light above the bed was great for reading. staff were super polite and helpful when I got lost in the pub looking for the reception desk. reception staff in particular were very friendly. I forgot to bring a spoon up to my room before checkout and the younger lady at the reception was friendly when I brought it back an hour later. and throughout my stay the cleaners asked me if I needed anything which I appreciated. thanks heaps for the wonderful stay :)

this is my one and only complaint - shower hot water system did not work. the sinks hot water worked, but the shower did not. I tried for a solid 15 mins to get the hot water working, even to the point I only had the top water handle on, and still nothing. so on an 8 degree morning an ice cold shower was my only option. other than that I have no complaints and I admit I didn’t alert the staff because at the time I was in a rush to get to a wedding. and really this is a minor point of complaint because I still got clean, it was just a bit of a mission to shower in icy water.

Facilities are excellent on lowest cost possible.

If there is a common room with microwave or oven, it would be a great add-on

I liked the proximity to the shops and transport. Very clean and parking was easy.

We needed to leave by 8am and couldn't raise anybody to hand the key back, we had to wait nearly an hour for someone to finally take the key
