We paid extra for the Level, which gave us use of a private lounge with some complimentary drinks and food. Also the use of the Spa which was excellent, so good after a day skiing. One thing that disappointed us was. On the first day we had some water in the room, on the second day it wasn't there so we phoned reception and they said that it was only given on day one. Frankly, if this was a special level of service then including the cost of a couple of bottles of water in a room charge of £340 per night feels like something Melia should do..

Great location near cable car Good big spa area Tasty dinner Great bar area Great for kids Beautiful design All new and clean

Horrible claustrophobic one way parking, the worst I’ve ever seen in the world and on top of that somehow we cant even pay for it in hotels reception and must go to -2 level to pay it. Very basic boring breakfast selection Too much bubble machines in spa, cant swim or relax Baby area is great but too small in spa Rest is great

Perfect location at the front of the village. Just 150m from the main lifts Very friendly staff throughout Excellent selection of food at both breakfast and dinner. Nice sized rooms well appointed Ski locker room was great. Liked the valet parking and the ski lift ticket machine in reception

My only negative comment would be some of the breakfast items could be hotter

Breakfast was good but not fantastic. It had a ll you needed more or less but some of the things went bit dry after being out too long. The hotel in general is really nice but soon time to start refurbish some areas. The Level adds on to the experience and gives you some nice extras.

Could have used some more vegetables at the breakfast. More fresh ham and cheese that didn't lay out so long so it "dried". More fresh bread and not just the normal "pan". Would also have been nice to see some more choices on the menu in the restaurant. The SPA area is really nice but sorry to say - the water is way to cold..

The rooms are comfortable but the heating didn’t work at first and the toilet kept running water. Said they fixed it but kept happening. It was my husbands birthday and the website said they up grade for this reason but they wouldn’t do it. There was also a charge to use the pool because we weren’t in an upgraded room! Very frustrating especially as they weren’t at all full.

If you can afford it "The Level" was excellent. We were not there to party, and the Level was excellent for a very relaxing Après-ski. Staff were superb, own concierge etc. The Level is an upgrade with personalised services. Meliá’s VIP service for guests seeking only the best. From their website; The Level guests enjoy an enhanced experience thanks to the additional services and private areas that the Meliá Sol y Nieve offers them. From welcome courtesies and details in the room or suite, to the comforts of the most exclusive and private facilities. At The Level everything is more. We added dinner (as it was inexpensive) and the offering was really good. we felt that everyone could choose something to their liking. SKi locker room was close to the lifts.

Not much. The breakfast room was busy (to be expected). Most of the offering was very good. the Ski lockers could have more hooks etc, but this didn't detract from our enjoyment.

The level stuff were amazing from the reception to the family room , kids club , spa ! All amazing The level is fantastic , it’s our third year in a row and we will be repeating for sure , thank you Patricia for making our stay amazing

The property it self needs to be refreshed or better maintained The regular restaurant hosts are nice but old school trained ! Sometimes we felt uncomfortable due to the treatment.

Great location and good facilities.

Unfortunately for a 4 star resort the food was well below average (buffet) and even though half board ate outside the hotel. Also for children waiting until 8pm for dinner is not ideal. So food very disappointing and need improvement.

The resort was compact with decent restaurants. It was easy to access the lifts, and except on the first day, the lines were not too bad.

As I said, the wet snow and the terrible evening buffet on day 1 at the Melia which was poor quality and expensive. The food that the mountain top restaurants was appalling and slow to be delivered.
