My second stay at Hotel Renate...And I love this place...I won't stay anywhere else. First thing to note is that the staff here are amazing. They are super-friendly, very helpful and very knowledgeable of local sights and activities. It's quiet!!! It's relaxing, clean and set in a nice garden. Yet it's just a 5-minute walk to the chaos, hustle & bustle of a very noisy Alona Beach as well as all the various restaurants. The rooms are clean, large & spacious. They come with nice hot showers, cable TV and AC. This is definitely the place to be if you want peace and quiet away from the beach.

Catch 22...Too hot & humid without the AC and then even with the AC is set to 24 degrees Centigrade it can be a bit chilly at night with only a thin sheet to cover you. It would be nicer if they also supplied a thin blanket.

Very clean, comfy, big rooms, they even have water heater for the coffee, ref, own balconies, etc.. Even the staff were very friendly and super helpful with everything! You can consider it a “real” hotel. worth more than what you paid. the only thing is that they dont serve foods, but they lend us their grill and cooking utensils and utensils for eating. it was no problem at all because , there are many food outlets outside of the hotel. we had an excellent stay and my family was very satisfied and happy!

bit of a walk to the beach, esp if you have kids or senior citizens. but it’s ok, you can rent a motorcyle or just ride a tribike/cab. hopefully soon, they’ll also serve their own foods.

Good location, not far away from a lot of restaurants or shops , not far away from the street but at the same time not noisy. Very cozy and nice place, they cleaned it everyday and I had everything what I needed: tea, coffee, bottles of water, shower facilities

There were some construction works but it's not their fault and there was some problems with water

The Hotel is very cute and cured, the room is spacious and clean, with a beautiful balcony. Shower is good too. There is a fridge with minibar if needed, but they also offer a free water dispenser in the common area. The staff is kind and accommodating, they clean your room everyday. They offered me their honey when I was sick. The position is very good, 10 minutes walk to the beach, on a street full of cafe and restaurants.

The location is near Alona Beach, in a small alley off the main street, right next to the restaurant Barwoo. It's very quiet, and the staff are also very friendly.

Big spacious and clean room. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Two free large bottles of water in the room. Comfortable bed and good air conditioning. It was a shame we only stayed for two nights as there was good nightlife here with plenty of food options. Hotel was a bit further away from the busier areas however this meant it was nice and quiet at night.

Few mosquitos in the bathroom at times.

This hotel is the best hotel in bohol! Clean room and nice hoster , everything is perfect! Hot water is working well, location is awesome to travelling! And The hoster helped everything about me when i got bike,tour information and taxi to airport! I will stay again when im in bohol again! Thx!! 여기가 최고에요 진짜!

A great little place that's set in small garden surroundings, peaceful and quiet, yet is only a 5-7 minutes walk and away from the noise and chaos of Alona Beach. The staff here are amazing, friendly and super helpful. Each room has its own little terrace, comes with cable TV, AC, hot shower and the all important coffee making facilities. The mini bar prices were also very reasonable which I appreciated. I absolutely would and will rebook Hotel Renate for my next trip to Panglao.

Staff were lovely, cleaned the room each day. Decent sized room. Little balcony area which was great to sit out in. Water dispenser at the bar which was great. Great location, no noise from the town but only a 10 minute walk. Perfect. Arranged transport to the airport too.

Fantastic stay with family of 5. Clean rooms with air con. Away from the hussle and bustle but 5 min walk to the main town. Lovely oasis of calm. Very obliging staff. Really great place to stay in Alona beach. The mango granola at breakfast is fab!
