I came in late, to stay overnight.. The whole experience was lovely. First, the guy checked me in. No fuss.. No hassle., at 230a. The room was clean and quiet. Also, had all the amenities I would've liked. Had I been staying longer. For example, coffee, microwave, and fridge; in the room. And, I was able to take a bath. Not always the case in hotels (water pressure, or the shape of the tub, or it just doesn't get hot enough. Then, the continental breakfast included made to order waffles! And, it was under $100 for the night.

Though it was an older property, the place was in very good repair and contrary to more expensive recent stays in newer facilities, The Bellingham Lodge has a soulful funky kinda vibe, that I really enjoyed more!

Honestly, there was nothing that I didn’t like about the property. For the money it was a really good value.

We didn't take advantage of the breakfast, as we were in Bellingham to visit our daughter, and she fed us; however, we appreciated knowing it was an option. More than that, we appreciated the cleanliness of the room, including the bathroom, and the general lack of disturbances—no noise from neighboring rooms.

While we couldn't smell it in our room, the hallway just outside stunk of stale tobacco smoke. Also, the wall-mounted heater/air-conditioner was very noisy, and the lighting in the room was adequate but somewhat dim. Neither of these were serious enough to ask for remediation, but still . . .

this was another dull average budget hotel with 2 extraordinary things: the staff was great accommodating my motorcycle, and friendly.. but the one amazing thing, when i saw jacuzzi i expected bath warm filled with kids, but i had it to myself and it was truly hot springs hot... and the sauna was far better than i expected. those things make this hotel a big win.

THANK YOU to the staff who got up early on Aug 24 to provide the continental breakfast for us cyclists at 5am who needed to eat and leave for the RSVP ride start by 6am - it was a nice surprise to hear that this was happening for us. I really appreciate this "extra" that was clearly not required, but the staff made happen. Thanks again!

Clean room, excellent bed, non-smoking room available, quiet room location, very helpful staff.

The breakfast, except for the individually-prepared waffles which was a fine surprise. Needs juices, more cereals, hard-boiled eggs, better yogurt -- an overall upgrade is needed.

I expected to arrive around 10pm, however, due to I-5 closure could make it only by 2am. Receptionist was very kind and even proposed to arrange late check out. The room was clean and quiet. After checking out I was allowed to leave my car on hotel's parking for a few additional hours at no charge. I really appreciated staff and facilities.

I was weLcomed by a friendly, efficient receptionist who directed me to a great Greek restaurant and a cheap gas station nearby. The refurbished room was clean, the shower was powerful and hot and the bed very comfortable. The free breakfast was unexpected and ‘though basic very welcome. The lodge was ideally situated for all the available facilities.

A coffee machine in the room would have been nice.

Great placement for the motorcycle - hidden from the street and in full view of the front desk. Not really an issue since the area was safe.

Not crazy about the Mexican restaurant up the street (but it is VERY popular) :)

The staff was very kind and helpful, the room was comfy, and the waffles were an added bonus. Great coffee, too. I will be back.
