This hotel is right opposite the station, and is also handy for the bus to Bordeaux Airport.I was greeted with a smile by the lady on reception and she immediately upgraded me to a suite. It was such a nice room with an excellent shower and separate toilet.The air conditioning was very efficient and cooled the room in a matter of minutes.I had a fridge with a complementary bottle of water. I didn’t have a view from my room but that meant it was quiet as not overlooking the road in front of the station.

Nothing-it’s an old building with an ancient tiny lift but I loved that.

The hotel is perfectly located for travelers, directly opposite the station and bus terminal, and the direct shuttle from the airport. The staff are super friendly and helpful but a special mention for Christophe - our main point of contact. We stayed one night at the start of our vacation and returned 14 days later for a further two nights. During this period the hotel generously stored our bike travel boxes. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

It as perfect for an overnight stay between trains. It is directly opposite the station. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a lift so the second floor wasn’t a problem. The building is really lovely, clean and well maintained. There are several bars and restaurants nearby and the centre of town is not far away if you have time to explore.

It wasn’t a major problem as I was only there one night but if you’re a light sleeper I would ask for a room away from the front of the building. There’s a bus station and tram stops as well as the trains so it was quite noisy.

The hotel his extremely well located for ease of travel - there are rail, tram and bus services right outside the hotel, so travel to the city centre or further afield is very convenient. I had not planned on taking breakfast in the hotel but, having tried it on my first morning, I had breakfast there for the rest of my stay - the food on offer was of typical continental style and of good quality. The breakfast experience itself was a very pleasant and calm way to start the day. Above all the hotel staff were very welcoming, helpful, friendly and efficient.

A minor thing - the opening and closing of a squeaky door of the neighbouring room, combined with many exits and entrances after 11 pm, was an issue for one night only. But I appreciate that the disturbance was largely due to the behaviour of the individual concerned. The other nights were without incident

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Regina. It is right opposite the train station and the square has a pleasant buzz about it. I found the area absolutely fine, with some lovely streets surrounding the hotel. The hotel was immediately welcoming, with friendly and professional staff. The room I had was very clean, and had a bright and airy feel thanks to the white and pastel walls. The bed was comfortable too. I would immediately choose to stay here again if I were staying in Bordeaux. The tram can take you to the busiest parts of the city within 10 minutes, and yet this area feels part of the main city too and you could walk to the same places. Thanks for a lovely stay... I felt like I was returning home whenever I came back to the hotel, and that's always a good measure of a hotel.

Nothing was not to like. There weren't facilities to make tea etc but I can see how this would put the price up when such things are available nearby.

Location was perfect as we came from airport and left by train. Comfortable room lovely doors and balcony to look at view of station. Air conditioning a bonus as very hot and we were asked what temperature for the room. Shower good. Able to leave our luggage as later train.

Could have had tea/ coffee or kettle in room. One of the rooms had a kettle base so we wondered if this may have been before.

Excellent location,friendly staff,the room was plenty big enough and the bed was comfortable,the noise of the trams and trains wasn’t intrusive at all even with the window open.

The shower didn’t drain very fast and quickly pooled and could have overflowed if you took too long,the toilet seat wouldn’t stay up and had to be propped up with the toilet brush holder and only one spare pillow although reception quickly got me a a second spare.

Location next to railway station is great. Shuttle bus to/from airport stops in station forecourt Also tram on doorstep. Several restaurants near by , and mini supermarkets Staff were really nice. Has a small but pleasant outside space, as well as seating off the lobby. Our room was spacious

The plus of the area ( near station) means it's not the best part of Bordeaux. However old part of city & many attractions arr only a few tram stops away.

The room was quite small and simple, but I was there just to sleep, so it was perfect. The room and bathroom was clean. The bed was not very comfortable, and if I have travelled with my boyfriend it would be a bit small for us two. The position is good for those who arriving by train, but it is not very close to the city centre, though for me it was okay to do 30 min walk.

It didn't have any fridge in the room and no soap/shampoo kit.

A lovely hotel. We enjoyed our 2 day stay here and it's closeness to both the station and the city centre trams. The staff were very pleasant and in particular the gentleman who checked us in on arrival. His advice on places to eat and visit made our stay most enjoyable. The room was very clean.

Perhaps sort out the shower head! Ours could only be used while hand held!
