Very nice location. Interesting decoration and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Loved the reception dog greeting us. It was simple to get in and out of main sights and plenty of places to eat and drink in the vicinity. We did worry about noise as room faced main road but never heard a thing! Breakfast was a very good spread and the ‘to go’ coffee was a great touch. Would like to stay longer next time as great value for money.

Only that on returning Saturday evening from restaurant groups of Turkish young men were loitering around steps drinking and didn’t seem inclined to move out of way to let us in. But property itself and the staff were fantastic

The stuff we're not so friendly. At 11:03 they wanted to charge us for the coffee that was supposed to be free just because the checked out time passed 3mins. Also because we were a bit late to leave the room 11:10, they made a huge complaint. Of course I cannot be sure if this is a matter of culture as we are Mediterraneans and we behave differently if someone has a bit late checkout

The hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. I arrived early after requesting to leave my bags until the room was ready but they already had the room ready so it was great timing. It was incredibly comfortable and so relaxing after several days of travel. I took a business card so I can remember to stay there again.

We had a room towards the street on a Saturday which was pretty loud at night since this is the main party street of Cologne. Anyone booking a room here should know about this beforehand and ask for a room to the back.

I was liking that all traveler were youth and location is nice you can find train and other public transportation around 30 m of hotel Good restaurants around and absolutely a small park connecting to canal that was my favorite place

Carry my own baggage as a girl from stairs was bad part in Europe but i think that’s normal

I arrived at 13h00, earlier than the check-in time (16h00), and I had to wait till that time. I would have wished to be able to check in earlier, specially as the rooms were empty and ready.

Great location in the city. Everything is within walking distance of the hotel. Plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants nearby the hotel. Old town is approximately 15 mins walk away which is great!! The hotel room was clean and comfortable which did the job for our trip!

It's a nice hotel with a good location. It is about 20 minutes from the city center.

Breakfast was not good, not many things (no fruit, no scrambled eggs or pancakes..)

Staff were very friendly and location was wonderful. Beautiful area and steps away from the subway. The hotel's paid parking was great and very convenient as we didn't have to worry about finding street parking.

Everything worked as predicted.

There was a problem on a few occassions. Several people tried to shower or were soaped up and then no water. Simliar problems several times with the water in the sink.
