Staff was very attentive and helpful.. (Thanks). Hotel is very well located in the fashion district and near main attractions, easy public transportation access (it is possible to pay the bus ticket with most contactless cards as you board, so I left my car in the paid :-( hotel parking. The hotel has a nice outside bar/cafe area. room and ammenities as expected for a 4 star hotel, comfortable bed. It is in a restrict traffic zone (ZTL), so do not forget to pay and activate your car access permit (doublecheck at the reception if arriving by car. ZTL fines are heafty in Italy

Very nice and chic Hotel, it is well located nearby city center. The rooms are in very good size, with plenty of amenities and with natural light which I find delightful.

Exactly on the dates we stayed, they were having renovation work at the property so, it happened to be many workers and it was a little too noisy but it’s comprehensive. They have to do maintenance someday right?! And also at our arrival the personal greeting us was at the beginning not so friendly. I don’t expect that from the personal working at a hotel which they have to be precisely welcoming and attentive. But after that little encounter the rest of the days they were very polite and helpful.

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations. This is my 5th time traveling to Europe (including Viking cruise) and it was the nicest hotel I have stayed in. The bed was great, room 101 was magical, and the food was outstanding. Even with a few issues I would say amazing things about this boutique hotel.

My shower drain backed up, but that was just a maintenance issue I would imagine is pretty normal.

Senato is a cute hotel with very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, and in the best location - a short walk away from the best shopping, hotels, museums, in a safe area, etc. Travelled for work, had a great stay and will be back.

Room is simple but comfortable, the bathroom finishes are nice. The pillows weren't the best but for a short stay it's ok.

My room was white with wood floors and 2 big windows so lots of natural light. Good blackout curtains. white marble bathroom. Nothing annoying. Breakfast excellent. Proper coffee. Terrific staff at breakfast and reception.

Pillows were lumpy. Reception areas trendy bad taste but that's de rigeur in Milan.

The staff is really helpful and cheerful from the moment you check in. Location is great, walking distance from almost everywhere you wanna go. Breakfast was really nice and tasty. The hotel has a really cute courtyard which is a really nice cafe as well. Andrea was very helpful with everything. Overall definitely will cone back.

Extremely clean rooms and a chic/modern vibe throughout both the rooms and lobby area. The location was excellent and walking distance to all the sites we wanted to see. The staff was extremely helpful and even assisted with an issue we had after we had checked out. Appreciated them getting us into our room early as we landed early in the morning. Was perfect for our one night stay.

I thought the breakfast was included but was surprised to be charged after (and a rather high cost too). The rooftop could have been a bit nicer as well but the design and chic look of the rest of the hotel made up for it.

I’d like to commend Mr Daniel from Senato Hotel Milano for his exceptional service and resourcefulness in arranging for a taxi to retrieve a handbag that was left at a restaurant in Milan, even though this happened near the restaurant’s closing time. This genuine and personal service that I’m sure he extends to all guests at the hotel is why my family and I stay only at the Senato Hotel Milano whenever we are in the city. We are very grateful for his service and hospitality, thank you, Mr Daniel!

Beautifully designed hotel in the heart of Milan. Elegant interiors, quiet rooms, and a peaceful garden courtyard. The rooftop bar is a must. Perfect location for shopping and sightseeing. Staff were warm and attentive. A true Milanese gem — we’ll be back!

Fascinating to return to a property after several years... I first stayed at the Senato when it opened in 2016 if memory serves and was spellbound at the quality and style of the renovation of a 5 storey town house of the owners. 7 years on and the value of the investment in the finest materials and a striking yet timeless palette of black, gold and sage green is evident: the hotel is as fresh today as when I first visited, and the commitment to locally sourced Lombardy products for the marvellous breakfast and the perfectly judged cafe menu is as strong as ever - complemented now by a Franciacorta bar to celebrate the spectacular sparkling wines from around Lago Iseo. From Marcello's initial greeting on Reception, to Giovanni's unfailing courtesy at the bar, all the staff clearly share a genuine spirit of welcome and service. Glorious place in every way!
