As an ultimate lover of luxury, comfort, coziness and relaxation, I use to be quite hesitant when booking 3 star hotels in general. That said, things happened the way they happened, and the unique concept of 21 House of Stories caught my attention... For good reason: The hotel shines in guest experience, room comfort and quality accommodation... Way more than a usual 3-star establishment does. The decoration of my room conveyed the illusion of having my very own studio in the heart of Milano.... well, with the significant difference that every morning I was awaited by a fantastic breakfast, one which in reality I couldn't even start preparing myself (yeah, at this point I rather tend to start complaining about some limited selections and whatnot.. but not even that: The breakfast was simply awesome! Basta). Outside breakfast hours, the bar downstairs offered best in class drinks, no matter if we talk about the alcoholic ones (they even offered a free drink upon check in!), or the various coffee specialities. However, when it comes to the bar, my special shoutout can't go to anyone else than to Corina, who was a superstar during my stay!! While each single member of staff is already extremely helpful and makes you feel more than comfortable (shoutouts to ALL of them), Corina really went out of her way and seemed not only super passionate about her responsibilities in, around, in front, and behind the bar, but was also very knowledgable about the selection. Above all, she basically made it impossible to have a dull moment while sipping my drink or co(z)working downstairs. À propos co(z)working: This is how they call the solution, which made my little mix of business and leisure trip exactly how I imagined it: Smooth and productive - with meeting rooms included (!).

- Excellent customer care. Staff go the extra mile for you. - Quality breakfasts. Almost unlimited food so go easy. - 20 minutes to the metro. About 55 minutes walk to the Duomo. If you like exploring a city as I do then this is a bonus. - Small gym, laundry machines, free WiFi, lounging areas downstairs - 24/7 staff to help - They can assist you with your travel plans including calling cabs if language is a barrier for you - Good-sized room for a solo traveler. - Complimentary coffee for me when I arrived early and before my room was available. Nice touch. - Upon check in they give you a coupon for a free drink at their restaurant. They also give you some snacks and drinks in your fridge. - Their restaurant is a good place to be if you are jet lagged and don't want to travel far in the evening.

- Bed mattresses were hard. The first couple of days I didn't notice too much with the jet lag. The bed was a bit dusty based on my allergic sneezing. - You can sometimes hear your next-door neighbors when they move a chair. Not unbearable but something to bear in mind if you are a light sleeper or want 100% privacy. Not an issue for me. - I love walking around to experience a city. If you need to be close to the center this is too far out for you.

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, cooks prepared me some vegan options for the included breakfasts.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in May and everything was fantastic. The location is very well connected by metro and tram, and you can reach the city center in no time. There are plenty of small cafés nearby, as well as a 24/7 market. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful – a special thanks to Roberto. The rooms were clean, the food was great, and the atmosphere was wonderful – chill, modern, and warm. A great addition to the hotel is the terrace, where you can relax, work, or connect with other people. My girlfriend especially loved the sweets at the reception. Another thoughtful touch was the drinking water waiting for us in the room, with the option to refill it anytime we wanted. We truly felt at home here. Highly recommended!

Honestly, nothing stood out as a negative – everything exceeded our expectations.

Friendly people, very clean, comfortable beds, good food, fresh and stylish look, quiet area, walking distance to metro with direct connection to central station. Freshly served coffee to your table at breakfast.

Rooms can be prone to noise from hallway or rooms above in the morning. Breakfast room can feel a little crowded when the weather is not nice enough to sit in the pretty courtyard.

The property is in a quiet neighbourhood very safe and close to the metro. I found the location excellent for getting to all the sites Beautiful building and exceptionally clean in all areas. The breakfast is plentiful and fresh and the restaurant is open until after 10 every evening. All the food prepared of the highest quality and waiter service There lots of nice touches in the room like free drinks and snacks, top quality toiletries, slippers The room was very comfortable and and can’t stress enough how clean it was You could see that the owners /management really cared about the property and a lot of thought had gone into the design and creating a welcoming environment I packed a lot in on my trip to Milan and 21 House of stories was a perfect base to return to every night .

Small things like the kettle wouldnt plug in the room and only 1 of the many sockets worked for charging my appliances The staff were either very friendly and doing everything in their power to make you comfortable or they were not interested at all

The atmosphere is really friendly, and the staff is professional and client-oriented. There is a nice place for breakfasts outside. The room was also nice and cozy.

It is really difficult to visit with a stroller because there are only stairs, and the lift is strange and hard to understand how to use it.

The room was clean and a nice little touch with snacks and drinks for the first night in the room. Location wise it's alright, it's a little bit away from the central area (Duomo), but there a street about 10 minute walk max from the hotel, where there's alot of shops supermarkets and options to eat at. To the Duomo it's easy to go with Buss (number 61) which is 7 minute walk from the hotel to the buss stop. The breakfast is good, lots of pastries, muffins, croissants, but also fruits, bread and scambled eggs. Over all good stay.

Dinner was ok but wasnt same options as on their website.

The breakfast had several vegan options, the personnel was very helpful, the location is good, well communicated and in a nice neighborhood. it has a nice courtyard to wind down or have breakfast

I loved everything about my stay at 21 House. The design of the hotel, the staff which was so friendly and nice, the lobby and the relaxing yard, the fact that it is more of a working place than a family resort (which I very much appreciated, because it was quiet and relaxing even when very crowded), the location etc. The girls at the restaurant especially were so warm, they pay attention to everyone and make you feel welcome. Hope to come back to you!

It is more of a personal preference, but I was not crazy about the tiles on the room floor, instead of carpet or wood floor. But it was really not a problem.
