Good location, very close to Piola metro station. Our hosts were great, they were so accommodating. It was no problem to leave our large case with them initally when we'd arrived too early to check in and they carried the case up three floors to our room so it was there for us when we did check in later. They were also great the next day when we asked if it was okay to leave our case with them again for several hours - that wasn't a problem for them either. There was quite a nice view over lots of gardens from our balcony. There was very little outside noise and our beds were fairly comfortable too. The room was very clean also

The room is perfect for sleeping. We left in the morning at 8 and came back at 10. We took a bath and went to bed. The beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is ok, cleaning is done every day, and the staff is superb, very kind. The air conditioning is very good, there is hot water, everything is perfect.

There are no insect screens on the windows and the mosquitoes terrorized us.

The hotel location was great and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the bathroom was clean and functioned well. AC was good and the use of shutters. It was very helpful to have a fridge

We didnt understand about the cash visitor tax and our booking confirmation indicated it had been paid. This led to a difficult conversation on arrival, late at night and after very many hours on a train. We upset the night person and they upset us - this could have been avoided with clearer booking confirmation details

The hotel Piola was great, it is on a good location close to metro with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. This is one of the cleanest hotels of this category that I visited. Everything functioned great, there is plenty of space in the room, heating and air condition worked perfectly and I had no complaints considering the price.

The only thing missing was shower gel in the bathroom as we received only three small packs for 2 people for 3 night stay.

Air conditioner in the room, comfortable bed, a generally clean place, okay for touring through the city, two metro stops ~10 mins away, a shop nearby, good WiFi, reception 24 hrs, and a really nice receptionist:)

You can usually hear your neighbours talking, especially if someone’s quite loud or playing music

We used this property for a short transit, one night. It is suitable for this kind of situations. You can get to the property easily with the subway from the central train station, or you can have a 25-30 minutes walk there. The room was clean, the fridge in the room was a plus, there was quiet, nothing to really complain about.

You have to leave your keys at the property when you leave. All the keys are accessible to anyone entering the property. Even if you have to ring to get inside, I believe this could rise some security concerns. They pretty much take your word for the room you stay in and there are multiple persons at the reception, being a family business. I believe the guest should be allowed to take the keys with them. The reception is open until 2AM, after this hour you have to call the owners to let you in. It's not that bad, but it can be improved. The price could be a little better.

Great location. The building is old but everything inside is new from doors and windows to furniture and curtains. Clean and nice. We arrived at the hotel at 2am and late check-in was important to us. Nice room, air conditioning, shower everything you need for one night.

The hotel is very conveniently located, clean and simple. Perfect for a place to stay to visit a busy city.

Being an old building the sound insulation is not great but not a criticism to the hotel. It's in the centre of a very busy city so no complaints just a note for light sleepers.

Very good hotel, all was fine and as expected for 2-star standard, kind owners, very clean, fridge inside a room (which is very helpfull in the summer). Metro station Piola is very close and also Carrefour 24/7 is very close. Perfect for few days travellers/backpackers.

Great value. Very clean room. Comfy bed. Friendly and fast check-in. Good location in a nice, "regular" neighborhood. Easy walk to Loreto station. An excellent cafe just around the corner.

The window shutters to my room #8 need some fixing.
