The hotel is in a great part of Milan and close to public transport and Milano Centrale The well-sized room is comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking the tree lined street The shower is large and really good The staff are friendly and the hotel is very clean and well maintained The breakfast area is excellent with a wide range of excellent food and coffees to choose from a nice outdoor location when the weather is good

The room doesn't offer any extras like a kettle, coffee machine, water or even extra charging ports The doors/walls are a little thin as we could hear people if they were speaking loudly in the room next door Hotel is amazing, but for the price it should offer more

The hotel room was broadly what I expected for a hotel of this type and it's price, perhaps a little better. The breakfast options were also good and better than I expected. Location was reasonably good as there are trams and metro stations within walking distance so you can reach the Duomo in about 25 minutes. There are plenty of parking options nearby. The best thing about Hotel San Francisco was the staff. We had three elderly people with us and they accommodated us well, providing ground-floor rooms (although there is a lift). All the staff were kind, friendly, and spoke good English. I'd like to give a shout-out to CJ in particular, who was particularly helpful.

It was very clean, and the staff were really nice and cooperative. The breakfast was great, the room was spacious, and the balcony view was beautiful. There was a problem with the shower, but they solved it after three days. The room matches the photos perfectly.

The heating system adjusts to your preferred temperature, but the fan made us feel chilly. If you're traveling from North America, be sure to bring a power plug converter with a small head, as standard ones do not fit into the outlets here. Additionally, the iron I borrowed from the reception had a sticky substance on it, which ruined one of my shirts.

The hotel is very clean and housekeeping was excellent, clean sheets and towels every day. The breakfast was good, and there is an amazing nice terace outside where you can eat. The staff was great and kind. The location was very good, a short walk to the nearest metro station, and not too far out of the center. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

The hotel itself is obviously older and could use some renovations, but that didn’t affect our stay at all and despite being old it was still very clean and neat.

Easy to find. Check in person was very nice, breakfast personel was nice. Very good and plentiful breakfast with crispy bacon, egg, pancake: excellent start for the day. Breakfast coffee was really good: better than in many cafeterias. Nice breakfast area. Served the purpose for one night stay. I was lucky to get the car on streetpark right next to the hotel (parking in Milan seems quite a challenge).

Very expensive! Small room with cheap feeling. Check out interaction: functional, no problem, but not hearing normal courtesy left me with blunt feeling (there shouldn't have been any reason to be angry to me).

The staff was very friendly, good breakfast and price for all that we got.

The pillows were a little bit uncomfortable for me , not for my partner tho. Also, there are no slippers in the room but there was a clean floor and it was ok after all . I knew that was quite a distance to the center ( the Duomo) but I was ready to walk so prepare for one hour to the main attractions. If not, the metro station was 10 minutes away and the Milano Centrale which is the main train station is 20 minutes far from the hotel.

Nice location, not far from the metro. Staff was excellent in every way, Happy, engaging and informative

bathroom was very tight, room was a bit small. No place to open a suitcase, had to do so on the floor. A suitcase valet vs two chairs (which had no use in a small room) would have been better

The staff was very pleasant. Breakfast had enough variety and quality food. The hygiene level is high, cleaned frequently. The bed was comfortable. The unit had enough space. There are complementary drinks in the room.

There is no trash can in the room. It would be good if the breakfast offered a more varied drink selection, but it still had multiple choices.

We could not call staff on arrival day due to a disruption in their internet service (subsequently sorted out). There was no public transportation nor taxis on that evening (Christmas) - we could have used some extra assistance, e.g. book a taxi.

The room was clean and comfortable. It also had a balcony which was a nice plus. The breakfast was included in the room rate and the breakfast service was comprehensive and tasty. The staff were friendly at all times. The location was good for us for a night's stay before heading to the airport.

The room could have been more idyllic in style.
