The location not far from the highway is what we wanted. I also liked staying in a less fancy hotel. We tried mostly fancy hotels on this vacation except for this Best Western. Next time, it will be Best Western--less expensive and more convenient. In fancy restaurants you have to buy your coffee downstairs. Here, the room has coffee, a fridge and a microwave. I prefer a regular restaurant to free breakfasts, but it was free, and if you are creative you can put together something you like. I made myself a couple quesadillas--very nice.

When we checked in, my traveling companion asked for help with our bags. The night clerk said "we don't normally do that, but we will this time." (She uses a walker). She was offended that he felt it necessary to tell her they don't usually do that, and you, dear reader, might want to know that they don't.

Super friendly staff, check-in took less than two minutes. Meticulously clean, the room smelled nice (sometimes rooms with spas smell musty / this one didn’t at all!), pillows were great, sheets and blanket were soft, bed was super comfortable to lay on! This is definitely our favorite hotel out of the handful we’ve stayed in locally.

Only 1 minor “con” - When you sit at the end of the bed, it made a rather loud “popping” sound, it startled me at first (and we aren’t big people). Otherwise, everything was fantastic!

Stayed in king room. Spacious, with sitting area with chair and hassock, and a counter area above fridge and microwave. Good shower, good bed. No digital clocks or other digital appliances to cast light pollution in room! Curtains closed to block out street lights. Quiet. A diverse breakfast with many hot or cold choices. Helpful and friendly staff.

I loved everything about the place..Super clean rooms and great staff..I had the king spa suite and it was so comfy and clean..loved it and highly recommend..the continental breakfast was great too..so many different choices..

The smoke alarm went off at like 2:30 am and continued for like a hour..there was a guest in a room on a different floor smoking and set it off..Maintenance came in about a hour later and turned it off..

What a great hotel! We had the king room and the bed was very comfortable, the room was clean. The breakfast was unbelievable as they had two types of eggs and items to make a breakfast burrito! We have stayed at many hotels and never saw diced onions, peppers, salsa, cheese and tortillas. We would def go back if we were traveling through

The staff was very attentive and accommodating. We were granted early checkin at no additional cost - thank you!! Also, there were two large groups staying at the hotel along with us, and the staff was mindful and extended the complimentary breakfast hours. And for those like me that will specifically book for free breakfast.. :P the breakfast included eggs, sausage, taters, fixings for toast, burritos, bagels, english muffins, waffle iron, yogurt, fresh fruits, juice, coffee, cereals and muffins.. options to grab and go -- or sit a spell. There was plenty!!

The gentleman at the breakfast was so nice and thoughtful. I missed breakfast by a few minutes and he ensured that I had what I needed before putting everything away.

Room was warm when entering and freezing as the AC was running to lower the temp. I checked in close to bed time so it was chilly while trying to rest.

The staff were all friendly. The gentleman that sets up breakfast and cares for that area is a gem. The breakfast was delicious. Love how the waffle machine makes 4 separate small waffles instead of one big one. It was comfortable and clean.

I got a message from BW that they would charge me if I took any of the incidentals. Not sure if they meant the tiny bottles of shampoo or lotion but I hope they didn’t mean those items. I could see if someone takes linens or some hangers or stuff like that.

The location was nice there are a lot of things to do around the area. The pool was very nice and the hours that the pool were open were VERY nice 6am-11pm. I did not make it down in time for breakfast but the option was there which was nice!

Overall the check in and out process could have gone a little smoother. It wasn't bad by any means but there was a bit of a wait for someone to come to the desk. The room could have been a little cleaner it was clean but there were a couple clumps of hair under the nightstand table.

The air conditioner blew the cold air directly on the person sleeping nearest and froze their face or if we turned it warmer to stop that, it was too warm to sleep
