Good location, close to town, about a 25 minute walk. Close to grocery store 5-10 minute walk. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Our only complaint was the outlets were difficult to reach and the bedside lamp didn’t work. The coffee maker overflowed, it must have had water in it from a previous guest. The TV needed to be turned on from the set but after that then the remote worked. Just little inconveniences. Overall it is a good place to stay but management should make sure everything works on the customer arrival.

I loved the location and ease of parking. I also liked the oversized bathtub/spa, which was a surprise that I thoroughly enjoyed. The staff was friendly.

Due to back issues, most hotel mattresses are too firm for me to sleep comfortably. The mattress at Argo was no exception, but that is not necessarily the fault of the owner/manager of Argo Inn. Evidently, the hotel has aged over time; however, Argo Inn was very satisfactory in terms of the price charged.

The room was large. The beds were comfortable & clean. The river view from our deck was awesome! The shower was terrific with plenty of hot water. The location is great and our room was quiet. We would stay again!

There was no clerk at the front desk for check in. I called all available numbers and no one answered. We finally had to go find him. The facility was clean and we enjoyed our stay, but the rooms are in dire need of some repairs and upkeep.

The location was perfect for walking the town, scenic views, and price value. The view from the balcony is amazing with the mountain view and water flowing. We kept our balcony door open to listen to he water flowing all night.

The bathroom shower was a little difficult to navigate - but honestly what shower that's not your own is not difficult to figure out. The fan in our bathroom didn't work but the one in our second room did work.

Reception was great, friendly and helpful. Loved having a room on the creek. The beds were very comfortable. Our room was very clean and appeared to be recently remodeled.

Our only concern was that there were a several large trucks taking up space so we couldn't park near our room. The first night, 3 trucks took up 5 spaces of parking. Maybe if lines were marked on the pavement, drivers would be more conscious of how much space they were taking up.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was great and very helpful telling me attractions to check out and where to get the best food and drink. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. I loved the balcony right off the creek and how there is also a walking path right down to the creek. The town is beautiful and full of amazing Colorado history, plus the town folk are great and dont treat you like a tourist. I would stay here again!

The room felt a little outdated.

Nice and quiet hotel in Idaho Springs, steps away from eateries, pubs and the Argo Gold Mine and Mill. The man at check-in is very friendly and the staff helpful. Parking is free. Our room was nice, clean, spacious, and had a terrace overlooking the river (Clear Creek?). The property provides coffee and juice in the lobby. Within a 5-minute walk Marion's of the Rockies serves famous pancakes and delicious invigorating breakfasts. The ideal I-70 stopover on your way to Utah.

This place is amazing! A little gem next to the river. Open the patio door and there it is! The sound of the river, a great little sitting area next to the river with a firepit and chairs. We checked in early and the desk person was so very nice, He told us about free activities and where to find some great places to give the history of the town. It is about a half-mile walk from the shopping/ eating area of town. The beds were very comfy as well.

There was nothing to note here.

we had a handicapped accessible room so it was larger with two sinks. Good beds It had a small balcony that looked over a small creek-pleasant to have morning coffee there You can walk a little ways to the downtown area that has lots of small shops/cafes Smoking Yards BBQ is a short walk; we ate there both nights we were in IdSpgs

Room was a little dark

The rooms are right on the river with a balcony if you're on the upper level. For us, that kind of setting is rare, especially at the price level. The rooms are nice and clean with pretty much everything you need, mini frig, microwave, coffee maker, TV. Beds are comfortable with newish bedding and good ac if needed.
