Everything was done with great attention to detail. The place is beautiful. And just being able to check-in with an actual person that can give you travel tips and is taking care that you enjoy your stay is like a breath of fresh air.

There is nothing to not like about it

I came late in the night and was only there to sleep as I had an early morning flight out of Malaga airport. As soon as I arrived, however, I regretted that I did not have more time to enjoy this gorgeous riad. The host was super friendly and accommodating. He was very helpful and ensured there was a taxi waiting for me early the next morning. There was coffee/ tea service available in the inner courtyard area until 11PM which was lovely. The room was so unique and so beautiful, and the property in general was just enchanting. Hot water, good shower and bathroom, and near to many restaurants and main area. Highly recommend and will return.

As a solo traveller, this was an excellent location to spend my short stay in Málaga. Near enough to the centre but quiet enough for the night. The owner made me feel really welcome and can give excellent advice to guests who have not visited the area before. Everything was perfect for me.

The hotel was all that I expected and according to description, even the host Gerard was genuinely friendly and helpful as other reviewers have indicated, this means a lot to a solo traveller. The room was small but who needs a big room when visiting such a nice city as Malaga is?

The decorative style of this property was lovely. We had the green room and it was a lovely arabic style with beautiful tiles in the bathroom. Even though we only stayed for two nights, they came in to clean our room, give us clean towels, and make our beds which was great. We checked in at 21:00 and were given a map with some recommendations for food and activities by the owner. Location-wise we couldn’t have been closer to the centre.

Lovely and quiet and peaceful. Very different Moroccan vibe going on which we liked. If you like the square shoe box modern hotel rooms you won't like this place. We liked it.

We found the beds uncomfortable with a mattress on a solid base. This is only a minor detail and isn't criticism.

Great location with a feeling of relaxing in the Andalusian North African/ Arabic culture of the area. Feel like staying at home. And the cleanliness and hygiene is really good. The host is also very helpful and gives a heads up of good places to go eat Tapas/Dinner/Breakfast. I have never seen anybody give us that level of detail. Super cool wifi that works very well across the property.

Great quiet, yet central location. Warm and informative welcome (given paper map with highlights to get to key areas in town, ie, nearby restaurants, tour operators etc.). Would deffo book again when back in Malaga 🏆

Excellent position and very traditional, couple of small points one of the shutter catches was missing so could not close shutter tight and keep street light out a 100%, availability of tea and coffee was a nice touch should have been available longer for early starters.

I love Riad Andaluz because it is comfortable and incredibly quiet given it’s excellent central location.

I was completely satisfied with Riad Andaluz and hope to stay there again in the future.
