Good sized room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Nice modern decoration, very clean, very comfy beds, very nice staff. Only noticeable street noise was fire engine here and there, but otherwise very quiet.

A bit of a walk (uphill getting back to hotel) from union square but overall quite close to places of interest or transportation.

The staff were extremely helpful and special thanks must be said to Edmon who processed our check in and check out incidentally. Not only was his service was very good but also he gave a lot of tips where to visit etc as it was our very 1st time in SF.

The fridge system of turning it on & off as it’s not helpful especially if you put yoghurts or personal medicine inside to keep it cool then it’s not helpful at all

Despite being located just next to the Tenderloin area, security was great once I was in the property and I felt safe while inside. I was surprised that in the small amount of space, the hotel was able to provide a fitness centre and I enjoyed working out in there.

The amount of space in the room was not ideal for solo-travelling as it had two queen-sized beds and if the room can be customised to just have one of them, it will feel more spacious for me as a solo-traveller.

What I liked about this hotel was the area, employees and the safety of the hotel. Each employee was caring and very considerate as well as patient. As for the area it felt like we could almost every where and then used street carts to get to around and to pier 39. For the safety, they had great safety measures one of them being the front doors lock at 6pm and the hotel as well as the elevators being key access only. I highly recommend this hotel

Great place. Seems like they recently remodeled, and it looks really nice. They had a great security guard that guards the front at night and have a really good restaurant inside. The staff was super friendly. We have clean towels and sheets every day.. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash was super good and left my curly hair looking amazing.

The location was not ideal but the security guard made it okay.

Good location, staff were hustling and terrific - valets, everyone at the front desk (Anna, Mia, Edmon) - just wonderful and helpful. Made my stay very enjoyable!

It’s in a part of San Fran that is not very optimal - security was great and made me feel very safe. Only drawback is there is a urine smell as soon as I stepped outside the hotel. And I had to avoid stepping on feces on my way to and from Union Square. But I don’t think you can control that so I don’t blame you.

The property and room were clean, you needed a room key to access the lobby and the elevator, so it felt very secure. Staff was really nice, friendly and helpful. There’s a cafe in the lobby so easy access to coffee (although it’s expensive). It’s a small hotel, which made the experience feel a bit more personal. Great if you’re travelling on a budget.

Although the room and hotel were both clean, the fridge smelled like death whenever we opened it, so we weren’t able to use it. The location was both good and bad. Good because it was walking distance to several bars, restaurants, and Chinatown. Bad because it was right on the edge of the Tenderloin, so you it was a little sketch sometimes and you have to be very aware of your surroundings and where you’re walking because you can very easily stumble right in to the Tenderloin if you’re paying attention.

It is a value for money hotel. There are restaurants near the place. The staff were friendly as well.

There's no parking space nearby so we had to use the valet service which was a bit expensive. The location of the hotel is not the most ideal place. Lastly, the air condition was not working well. It was a bit warm in the room we stayed in even if the temperature is the lowest setting already.

The vibe

Billing mistake, there is still a $400 pending charges on my debit card that has not been released 5 days after our stay there, it was a prepaid booking thru Booking.com, but was still billed in error on my card and still has not been reversed after theyve promised a prompt action will be taken for their error, an unnecessary inconvenience.

In a perfect location just up from Union Square and easy to get around from there
