I appreciated the quiet location just outside Mestre. A nearby bus stop 5-10 mins walk from the house was ideal for getting into Venice within 30 mins. My en suite room was quite large, had a double bed, and had plenty of wardrobe storage space. It had an air conditioning unit that was not needed. The bathroom sported a jacuzzi bath, too. There was also a communal lounge I could have used. The breakfast was typically continental and plenty of coffee.

I personally prefer a stand-alone shower rather than a jacuzzi bath, although it did have a shower unit. At breakfast, I was not fond of the prepackaged crisp breads and various assortment of cakes which were high in sugar content.

The villa is just great. The best option close to Venice, but possible to reach with the bus the Venice Mestre railway station. The villa is a quiet place to get some rest, comparing to the city it's just awesome! If you're traveling by car, it's perfect close to the road, Burger King and gas station. People who enjoy staying at the locals will enjoy it, just to get more idea how the family lived.

If you're travelling by bus, be aware the busses are scheduled every 30 min or so and sometimes it's not that easy to find the needed route ;)

We liked very much the design and furnishing of the property, it was very cosy, with a vintage look and plenty of artwork. Breakfast was self service and sufficient, and with a well equipped coffee machine. The location is convenient to reach by car, and there is a petrol station nearby. Highly recommend this place!

All was good. We were not sure if it was acceptable to use the kitchen to prepare food, or use the fridge, probably some written rules in English would be helpful.

it is in good location, just at a border of Mestre. very convenient if you are by car. A Mall area is 5 min drive from the villa. the territory is big and tidy. there are a lot of space for outdoor chill. There is plenty spaces for parking. it was convenient to have a remote key from the gate. the Villa itself is something that would impress you- huge public space with decoration like in the museum. they are few rooms there so we find see and hear our neighbours much. all is clean and well kept. we like it all! If you used to have a sheet for covering a blanket you wouldn’t be surprised. But if you got used for a proper blanked with a duvet cover, this you’ll be a challenge. But it’s OK for a short stay without it. However, if this detail is fixed, we’d go there again. so, we highly recommend this property!

Attention to detail is phenomenal. The house is really well decorated, and the property overall is simply stunning with great surroundings. The rooms are neat and clean and with all the bells and whistles you’d expect inside including a hair dryer. I liked how peaceful the place is, how the hosts (Annalisa and Giovanni) take care of you and that I was genuinely looking forward to spending time in the property which is a rear thing when you travel

Not much honestly. The breakfast table is full but could perhaps benefit from more healthy options (fruit).

Spick and span with attention to detail . Found the chats with the host’s husband very interesting. Very modern and thoughtful electricity plan. Attractive views, especially on those rare clear days …..

We would suggest adding spare cutlery. For the roaming traveler minimal provisions (e.g. add sugar, olive oil ) provided were helpful but somewhat sparse.

Very quiet, very beautiful, lots of parking lots (no pun intended), nice staff, the owner showed us personally where to leave the car for free near the train station, tasty, maybe a bit sweet breakfast. Comfortable beds, large bathroom.

We liked it all and we are planning to go back next year

Very nice house with a nice courtyard, the room was very clean and comfy. The location is super close to the bus and you can easily get to Venice and back. There's also enough space for multiple cars, so it's great that you don't need to worry about your car.

Our phone was dead so getting in was a trick. We were ringing outside to no avail. Finally found an open gate and got in and located the caretaker, but he doesn't speal English. Finally got it worked out.

Beautiful place, quiet in a busy area. The staff was more than helpful. The room was excellent and more than we hoped for (2 balconies, bath robe, nice view).

There is no trash can in the room. There was only one bath robe for the 2 of us.
