The room is spacious. We got a deal for a cheap stay during Euro 2024. The location is great, close to the central station. They didn't allow early check-in, but there was a large hotel lobby with many tables and chairs.

The spam messages in my inbox are sometimes confusing and irritating. They were continuously sending spam messages to ask me to fill in bank card information via strange links. My tip is to ignore them completely and never fill in information that way. When I check with the hotel, they said it was spam, but it's odd that such messages were sent by their official account. Every information, especially my payment info, should be secured by booking.com.

Friendly staff, good location close to the main railway station and the center of the city, spacious room, affordable price.

There is an informatic virus that sends customers messages on behalf of this hotel, asking for details about the credit card used for the reservation. One needs to pay attention and not follow those links. Furniture a little dated.

Excellent room, spacious with every amenity, reception and breakfast staff friendly and most helpful. Situated midway between the main station and the Opera House (Sunday performance). I particularly enjoy seeing the fish and coral tanks - very calming.

The only thing I could mention is the (new) tendency for car drivers to drive around the centre of Dortmund continuously sounding their car horns at the week-ends, on Saturday night for over 3 hours (I could not get to sleep till about 1.30. This is by no means a complaint about the Hotel. If there is an occasion to return I will try to avoid week-ends,

We booked 2 rooms so my husband and I could each take one of our kids in bed for the night. One of our rooms was very spacious and even had a babycrib where our 2 year old could sleep in. We liked the breakfast and the staff was very friendly.

There is no roomservice possible. When we arrived, one of our rooms did not have any toiletpaper. There is no airconditioning in the rooms. One of our rooms was very warm during the night. The hotel is a bit worn out. (The seams of the sofa were coming loose and the shower was leaking) But they are busy with some renovations, so the are working on it.

I loved the breakfast spread and the time it starts (6.30am). My room (420) comes with a bathtub and a great view of the main city centre walking street. Train station is just across the road. To get to Dortmund Main station, take U43 or U44 train from Westentor station and stop at Kampstraße Station. Then go to one level up and take U45 northbound train and stop at Dortmund main station. Follow the directions printed on the floor to get to the Dormund regional trains to Frankfurt for example. Nobody checked my U Bahn train tickets when I was there. There is a kettle inside the room. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom. There is a safe in the room but too small to fit a laptop. Clothes hanger is provided. Wifi signal is good but not totally strong in some areas of the breakfast room. Travelling around the city, you can use the electrial scooters available at the U Bahn stations and pay 0.20 Euros per hour, The App is called Tier. Bike lanes are available around Dortmund. West of the hotel there are a few south asian supermarkets and restaurant. East of the hotel is a good starting point to explore the city centre (Westenhellweg). Staff is typical German. Serious but efficient. For room service call 231 560500.

I wish the bathroom comes with a bidet. The heater requires the window to be opened at the top and the curtains to be closed in order to be turned on. The bottled water in the room is 4 Euros. I wished they had a gym in the hotel. The most disappointing of all are the TV stations. They are all in German.

This accomodation is one of the best hotel experiences I had, and I do travel a lot, From 1 to 10 I give it a 12, without a doubt. Really can't and won't hide my delight by the way they made me feel welcomed as a guest. Hotel is almost at the very center of the city and not far away from all city atractions and main train station. Accomadation is organized with a lot of taste and everything is functional and enjoyable. Every single detail (and there are so many of them) expressed their seriousness, professionalism and dedication to their guest/s. Everything is so intelligently composed with a lot of style and taste. From decorations of room, bathroom, stairs, to small details regarding equipment and organization. It is simply impossible not to be grateful for efforts they make and commitment they express. Bed is super comfy. I booked this accomodation knowing very few informations about it but now, I want to say huge thank you to them. Whenever I get the chance I'll return in this beautiful place.

Room was comfortable. And location ideal for Public transportation to Messe. Comfortable beds with many pillows.

The breakfast room is far too crowded. The tables are so close together that it is near impossible to sit down if there's someone behind you. The breakfast was good but simply not enough room for the number of guests. The artwork hanging in the rooms certainly fits the name as unique. Personally not my taste. I've stayed now 2x here both rooms had disturbing "artwork".

The hotel is nice and the room was very clean and spacious. When you enter the hotel door, you will remark the somptuous aspect with red carpet and candlesticks. The bed is very comfy, the linen was clean and the pillows were also very comfortable. The bathroom is big and you have free toiletries. I liked the fact that in the hotel bathroom there were 2 sinks. The view from our room was directly to pedestrian street from Dortmund's city center, with a lot of shops and restaurants. The hotel is located in a good area, close to the bus station to the airport. If we will come back to Dortmund again, we will definetely choose this hotel.

It gets noisy if you keep the windows open, but it's normal because it's centrally located.

It was a 10 minute walk from Central station, very easy to find, helpful staff, great lounge area and bar.

Building/renovation works were going on whilst I was there. If I had known this in advance I would have stayed somewhere else. We were woken by drills pre 8am and the hallways were covered in protective sheeting. A shame because the hotel was lovely but its never great experience when your room requires snagging, piles of mattresses at the top of the stairs. The room smelt of paint, and the radiator made a loud noise constantly when it was on, the heated towel rail in the bathroom didn't work so it was constantly cold.

The hotel looks well maintained overall. The lobby entrance is impressive – like a time capsule in the best possible way. The room was perfectly clean, with a carpet that looked brand new. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were great as well. The bathroom had two sinks, a heated mirror, and a shower with high water pressure. I would definitely come back

When I arrived at 19:00, the parking garage was already full, so I had to park on the street
