Lovely presentation of room and great location for accessing meals from nearby pubs. Breakfast was included and excellent. Management were very helpful and communicated promptly via Booking.com emails.
We didn’t realise it was a self check in place and we had to phone the business when we arrived to get our lockbox code. As we were from overseas and had only purchased an e-sim with internet access we were unable to make the phone call to get the access code. It is also best to pre-pay for this accomodation rather than at check-in as you can’t get the lockbox code until you have paid - this is again difficult to do if you don’t have access to be able to do this over the phone. Fortunately we knew someone who could phone the property on our behalf to get the code and pay over the phone for us. Having a WhatsApp number for the business would alleviate this problem for overseas visitors.

We stayed in a triple room with a double and single bed. The room was large, warm, had lots of storage and a decent size bathroom with heated towel rack (very nice). A large window looked out over the back garden. The breakfast room was warm and welcoming with music playing - a wide variety of cereals, yogurt, danishes and a lovely hot breakfast with toast, orange juice and tea/coffee. The full English breakfast and was very good. It was a self service check-in so if you are an overseas traveler, make sure you have a SIM that can make phone calls as you'll need to make a phone call to get the PIN for the key box. I also booked a car through the Guesthouse and there is car-parking onsite.
The only negative for me personally was the mattress on the double bed was a little too soft for my back, but it didn't worry my husband, so that could be a personal preference.

We liked that the property was very clean and tidy, the room and bathroom were lovely sizes and there was a great selection of refreshments provided in the room for our stay, very handy to have an iron and ironing board. The bedding was spotless and very cosy
The room got a little cold at night but the blankets provided kept us warm for the most part. The bathroom was spotless however there was no lock on the bathroom door and it didn’t shut all the way, we had to use a towel to block to door to give us 100% privacy whist using the bathroom Also there were no spoons on the refreshments tray which was a bit difficult to stir hot drinks in the room.

Where do I start? Communication was excellent with the booking. When we arrived earlier than expected, the lady arranged and spoke with the wonderful housekeeper Itan, who got our room ready. What a wonderful, helpful, and kind young lady who went above and beyond for us. Itan is an asset to the guest house. An amazing sleep and an amazing breakfast by amazing hosts. You made our first stay in Cambridge an amazing time. We would definitely return, and we highly recommend you. Sharon Room 5

The Breakfast was lovely . Cooked to order 🤗. The courtyard was lovely to be able to sit in early evening and in the morning before breakfast . The downstairs room was cooler on a hot night so we were very happy there .
We ran out of t bags in the room , but the chef was obliging in the morning. We didn’t know where to fill up the kettle when the kitchen was closed and so we ran out of bottled water . More water bottles please especially as hot as it has been. Again the chef was very obliging in the morning to let us fill up in the kitchen. No tea spoons to make tea , maybe some of those wooden sticks would suffice. (Just incase someone would run away with a teaspoon 🤣 )

Good location, easy 25 minute walk into town. Parking little tight on site if the house is full but you can park at the pub next-door. House is lovely.. We had the family room which was plenty big enough for 3 adults. Beds comfortable and on the whole room was very clean. Furniture a little worn in places and the scatter cushions and TV remotes were a bit grubby. Nice touches like hot chocolate, decaf tea and biscuits in the room as well as toiletries in the bathroom. Nice large fluffy towels. Breakfast was OK and the staff very friendly. Overall a good find and we would use again if we revisit Cambridge.

Overall very happy and the Guesthouse was ideal for our needs. Checking in and checking out was very straightforward & easy. We had the twin room was overall comfortable and had been cleaned to a very high standard. I recall in the description that the ensuite was said to be compact; it certainly is so whilst providing shower, toilet & sink the ensuite area is somewhat bijou. That said it was again very clean, although showing signs that it would benefit from a bit of a refurb in areas such as grouting, flooring and having a shower door that fits properly would help. The door currently in place doesn't fully close which further limits the space available in the shower cubicle. All this said the linen, towels were of good quality and provision of complimentary toiletries was appreciated. Breakfast was excellent. All in all happy with our stay.

The hotel is a house converted into a bed and breakfast. The room are newly decorated and the beds comfortable. It was very clean and pretty. We all slept well. We used a family room which was great since we could all stay together. The breakfast was very nice. Not a buffe, but we all found what we wanted. The people working there were very nice, friendly and helpful.
This is a reception free house, which means you get a code with which you can access the key to your room. There is a phone number you can call 24/7 if you get problems. We had problems checking in, and a person answered. After about 1 hour we could get help to sort things out.

Overall it was good. I had to phone a number to get a key safe code to get in and they answered my call straight away. Room and accommodation was good and the bed comfortable. Booked breakfast for 7.30 am and found the dining room and kitchen were locked. No member of staff anywhere. Made 8 phone calls to the phone number listed and the emergency contact number and just kept getting the answerphone. Extremely frustrating for us and the other guests wanting their pre booked breakfast. Eventually someone did turn up at 8.15 and said the person who should be cooking breakfast their car had broken down. Perhaps a text message or phone call letting us know this would of been appreciated
