Very friendly staff, allowed us to check in early, beautiful cosy, snug, clean room with bathroom and single built in wardrobe. Great if you are a smoker as just stand outside room. Good bus route but we walked into Loughton which took 40mins, lots of nice walks as literally in middle of Epping forest. We didnt have a kettle but I know they would have got us one straight away if we asked but didn’t bother, but there was tea and coffee with biscuits and bottled water which was a nice touch. Very comfy bed and working TV. Nice and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

There was nothing not to like.

The rooms are lovely and the place is obviously well managed, and by a manager who is genuinely interested in making sure you’re happy (rare). All of the staff were friendly, genuine and happy to stop and chat/answer questions (also rare).

1 minor issue was the sink taps in my bathroom. The hot and cold were separate meaning you got scalding or cold.

This is great value for money accommodation. It us run by the owners and they are friendly, easy to deal with and want to offer whatever you ask. The location is great, on the edge if Epping Forest with lovely local walks. There are plenty of places to shop and find places to eat in the towns only 10 minutes away. Loughton is on the central line only 30mins from central London with a bus to the underground from outside the accommodation. The rooms had good amount of room and plenty of hot water and clean comfortable beds and linen.

It is budget accommodation so there were some compromises on the finish in the rooms.

Most importantly, the bed and the room were very clean. I loved the motel style and individuality of this place, and the location surrounded by forest. Quietness is important to me: you can't hear the M25 at all from there, and inside the room you can't hear the passing traffic with the window shut. The twin room has 2 small double beds - the size a single bed should be! Very comfy too. The host is friendly and helpful, he even phoned me after I left my jacket behind and he's helping me to get it back.

The car park is very tight and it's a bit awkward getting in and out. I had a parking space overnight, but I popped out early the next morning and it was full when I came back - I had to get 'inventive' with where I parked. Still, I liked that the parking is right outside the rooms. The signage from the main road could be improved - but Google took me to the right place. Also, the bath towels could be bigger.

Very quiet and dark so great nights sleep. Plenty of space inside. Bathroom clean and shower decent although ran a little cool quite quickly. Tea/coffee/biscuits and lots of choice for tv/music on the tv. Staff friendly when I found them! Very cheap for the area but clean and tidy.

Very strange location, unclear when I drove in whether I was in the correct place and no sign to say it was 4 sisters or where to park. No real reception area so just hung around waiting for staff as ZERO SIGNAL to call them or use the Internet. Once I found staff very friendly but again don't know where he was if I needed him again. Handed key to cleaner as I left as no one around again.

The 4 Sisters Inn is in a very convenient location just off the M25 and near M11. It’s clean, the staff are attentive and it’s probably perfect for a one, or two night stay. The facilities are quite good and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was not applicable for us, but the location is excellent for Epping Forest and Epping town, where there are plenty of restaurants, cafes & pubs. Also nearby for the tube to London etc

Suggestion, maybe a towel rail, bin and a shelf in bathroom would be very handy.

Absolutely lovely place ..easy access to all rooms ,easy parking ,car and property very secure ,the setting is stunning ,the forest was beautiful and the staff well so helpful so much more so than the night before in Somerset ..i differently will be booking again in-fact every time i visit my family .

Well i just cant think of any thing wrong .i would have to be more than picky .no really the coffee was excellent and bottled water for the kettle ..I work in hospitality ..and they smashed it .

The staff was really polite & very helpful if needed. Plus there's a restaurant there you can eat & a little zoo right next to it if you have young kids. If your coming by train the taxi will cost you about a tenna to get there it's right next to Epping woods which is very lovely especially if you like going of the beaten path. Plus a garage 2 mins away & a steak house on the corner.

I didn't have a car or we'd visit more often .

It has a full Indian takeaway restaurant on site which is nice, and the staff are very accommodating. They met my requests and were particularly helpful. When our domino’s pizza never showed up after the restaurant on site was closed, I asked one of the staff if there was literally anything me and my girlfriend could eat, and he made us tikka masalas and pilau rice which saved the night. 10/10 for customer service and going the extra mile to help us.

This’s isn’t the hotels fault but because it’s in the Forest mobile phone reception can be a bit spotty. They do have Wi-Fi but regular calls and texts might not go through.

I wanted to experience a place like this—just like in the classic American movies—and it didn't disappoint! The roadside motel feel you see in films. It was simple but clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Parking right in front of the room was super convenient. It’s not luxury, but that’s not the point—it’s about the atmosphere and experience. If you want something different from the usual hotels, this is a great choice!
