Ideal accomodation handy to everything bus stop close by we requested upstairs unit and staff obliged with unit on 4th floor as we could see the ocean. Certainly stay there again .

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing stay at BreakFree Alexandra Beach! The location is absolutely perfect — right across from the beach and close to cafés, restaurants, and walking tracks. The resort has a fantastic family-friendly vibe, and the lagoon-style pool was a big hit with our son. He didn’t want to leave! Our apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and easy. We also really appreciated the convenience of the underground parking. It was the perfect base for exploring both the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast. We created beautiful memories here and met some lovely people along the way. We’ll definitely be back!

The Sushine Coast is a bit 80s/90s right? Our experience was complete with an artificial lagoon/pools that meanders in between the apartment blocks. Some of the ground floor apartments have direct access to the pools from the balcony. Whole families appear to have settled in these prized apartments long-term. They've set up comfy couches on the balcony while they laze around watching footy. Call it tacky, dated or whatever - but it gets 110% on vibe meter from me. My daughter loved the heated pool and jacuzzi, and had a night swim in the middle of winter. Would consider coming back.

Couldn't connect to WIFI, and had to use my own internet to watch Netflix. No big deal. I prefer to travel to see the outdoors.

Was not aware of after hours entry gate. Called the phone number for late arrivals , I supplied my name and room number to whoever took the call and was asked many questions including how who did I book with, when was the booking made also how did I enter the property before . Eventually after repeated my name and room number he suggested I walk down the fence line and use my card at the gate.🤬 The next day I suggest to reception it would be ideal if this information was given on arrival so as not to cause this situation again. Staff were awesome, the grounds were exceptional. The location is perfect. The unit had everything we needed.

The person staying in the unit below ours was a heavy smoker. He lit up cigarette after cigarette. It meant we had to close the doors and use the air con at night which was a shame as we love listening to the surf. We sat down to a lovely seafood lunch one day and the cigarette smoke spoilt it. We worked out if we stuck a shoe in the main door the breeze helped dissipate the smoke a little. On the upside every time he lit up we went out for a walk.

Reception staff were lovely. Check in and out easy. Room was clean. Lovely environment around the room. Good parking. Good security. Kitchen great for own food preparation.

Paid $150 extra for swim up room but pool is not heated so can't use it. Drains in bathrooms made rooms smell like sewage. Single beds extremely uncomfortable. Had to pay $3 per towel for extra pool/spa towels. Most surrounding restaurants are Asian based, only non aisian (pizza) from close store was terrible. Had to drive a distance or uber for decent food.

I loved our room location. We were in a 1 bedroom apartment with a huge balcony with a gate to the pool. Location was amazing as we have a 4 month old and didn't have to pack everything up to go for a swim. The pools were warm enough for her which was surprisingly great! Location was good and pizza was 12/10 .

The noise from our upstairs neighbour thumping around all night was ridiculous. Not sure how good the sound proofing is in that apartment. Reception don't communicate with booking.com who told us we could have a cot free of charge. Hotel charged us $10 a night. The couch was covered in stains. We decided to put a sheet on it.

BreakFree Alexandra Headland is a fabulous resort for a family holiday. The pools are amazing and the waterslides were a big hit with the children. The grounds are well looked after. The location is directly across the road from the beach and surf club. Our 2 bedroom apartment was lovely and very comfortable. It was modern, well furnished, well appointed, and very clean. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Being in an apartment at the front of the resort we experienced a lot of traffic noise and the street lights lit up the bedroom at night. I would suggest having blockout curtains/blinds to alleviate this problem.

Location was awesome and it had all the facilities required, including the gym which was really enjoyed. Having a washing machine and dryer in our room was also fantastic. Lovely setting with the pool throughout. Having a TV to watch from bed was definitely a plus, and table and chairs available both inside and out on the deck. Most of all, the value for money that this was affordable and ticked all the boxes we required. Will definitely recommend!

The bed was uncomfortable with being 2 single beds pushed together, a rut in the middle causing a sore hip and back. And the hot water in the shower ran out quickly. Also, the spa was not very warm. The wifi not being easy to connect to and kept having to reconnect was not ideal.

location was excellent, directly opposite the beach and a 15min walk to Mooloolaba. Pool was great. plenty of onsite parking also. fully gated with key access to the whole property made it feel very secure. Apartment was dated but comfortable size and great balcony overlooking the pool. Being an apartment, it had great kitchen facilities.

bed wasn't overly comfortable, could feel the springs in the mattress and was a little cold with only a sheet. Extra bedding/blankets in the wardrobe had a few stains on them so instead I opted to sleep with the heating on low which was totally fine. (pillow cases and bed sheet were clean)
