Great pool, Amazing location with a sea view across the road, size of property and other guests were nice too.

Firstly everything we liked in the above section was great so keep that in mind when reading the rest....... the apartment is a good size but it needs work, its quite tired with a 1980's look about it.....dont get me wrong I like the 80's infact my wife was born in the 80's and I quite like her but the apartment needs paint, new cabinets, a good clean (dust under beds and found some large pieces of glass stuck in the mat), WiFi was hit and miss and thus the TV did not work which was a shame as it was a huge new Samsung......I say all this becaues we had a great stay however if the above are addressed the next time it will be a FANTASTIC stay.

Amazing location to walk left to Alexandra Surf Club or right down into Moolooabah. Close to beautiful beaches, walking tracks shops, cafes and restaurants. We loved the indoor heated pool, spa, tennis courts, and sauna. The outdoor pool was too cold at this time of year to swim but provided a great place to lounge in the sun. The apartments were beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The communal BBQ area was the perfect meeting spot to meet with other family members who were also staying at the Headlands Tropicana. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was super close to shops and if you didn't want to walk there were E e-scooters you could hire and a bus stop out the front. Close to great playgrounds for kids and seated areas and lookouts along the beach boardwalk

There was nothing we didn't like about staying here. Maybe a few more sachets for the dishwasher etc but we just stocked up from the shops which are a short walk away.

Good facilities and great location - on top of the headlands, 10 minutes easy walk to either Mooloolaba Esplanade or Alexandra Headlands. Whilst being an older property shows in place, it also feels like some elements have been tweaked over time more than newer properties - more hooks to hang things, better equipped laundry bits etc.

Reflected in the good value prices, the resort does show its age in places and some aspects like our bathroom ceiling could do with a refresh.

The 2 bedroom apartment was a great size, plenty of room for us all. Had everything we needed. Manager's were very friendly with great communication regarding arrival and other instructions. Across the road but close to a great beach. Small ocean view from our apartment was nice. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Undercover and secure parking was excellent. Nice pool.

A couple of maintenance issues with a shutter falling off hinges, which Management looked at immediately, and a window in the lounge that was stuck open and wouldn't close. A bit noisy a couple of nights with a large group that were staying but not late, would have been better if we could have closed the window. The outside chairs scraping in the apartment above was at times noisy.

Location was perfect! Facilities were amazing, plenty to do. Secure underground carpark and on street parking available. Air conditioning in living space and main bedroom. Full sized bath with shower over, plus ensuite with shower. Washing machine and dryer in apartment.

No air conditioning in second bedroom made sleeping quite challenging - even when leaving door open to get cool air from living space. Beds quite uncomfortable and ensembles on wheels so moved away from wall quite frequently. Was unable to find additional pillows and blankets. Oven instructions would have been handy as pictures on the knobs were worn. VERY hot trekking from car up the stairs to the apartment .. but unavoidable in the middle of Qld summer.

Liked the location, liked the heated pool and games room, secure parking for a large vehicle. Smart tv. Good sized bedrooms, roomy unit. Washing machine and dryer. Aircon and fans. Small milk in the fridge for a coffee before going to Coles

Main shower pressure, dirty kettle, main hot plate stays on high, broken/old vacuum, old toaster, not enough hot water for family of 4 to shower all at once, at night the neighbors are able to see through en-suite mesh. Small tv. Needs a door mat to wipe feet

We love the location of this place - between Alex Beach and Mooloolaba Beach. We could walk to a wide variety of restaurants and shops. The pools on the property were great for the kids. We made use of the BBQ; the grounds are lovely and well-maintained. It was quite quiet too despite being school holidays in Qld.

Not much that I didn't like. The main bedroom bed was a little lumpy but everything else was wonderful. The bathrooms are a little dated but we can live with that.

Thank you so much Headland Tropicana! You were just want we needed! Perfect location and amazing grounds for us. We enjoyed EVERYTHING! I read feedback before coming, things like not having a gate to the front, not an issues for us as we supervise our babe. Comments about the pool, We loved the warm pool! Chemicals were perfect! My 2 year olds eyes were fine after swimming. We appreciated the washing machine and dryer, dishwasher and the water pressure was no problem for us! I found the staff to be accommodating and friendly with my family. I messaged when booking to let them know I have a small child. They were kind enough to give us the bottom floor apartment. This made things a lot easier. Although we wouldn’t have mind being higher as we are a young family, those stairs are hard when packing up and we really did appreciate the courtesy of the bottom floor. The games room was a pleasant surprise. Nothing fancy, but while our son played the cars we got a sneaky game of ping pong in, super cute and just added to our experience. Perfect location. Coffee shops to the right, beach to the left. Rock pools at your feet. GREAT for adventures! Stair and ramps to get you to the beach. Sunshine plaza was 10 minute car drive away (we got our Santa photos - Not a good experience) and also great Uber eats options! I hope to make this a yearly visit for our family. We really hope to see you again!

The service and communication provided by Scott (the manager) was excellent in every way. Everything was communicated clearly prior to arrival. The apartment was clean and spacious with everything we could need provided in the kitchen. Aircon to the living and main bedroom were a bonus. The apartment had everything we could have needed for a longer stay (including a laundry) and even books and games were provided! Loved the resort style pool area and outdoor bbqs.

All our expectations were met or exceeded - no improvements could be suggested.

Unfortunately the road outside the complex seems to be popular with hoons as on Saturday night there seemed to be cars revving their engines and doing burnouts on a regular basis
