Easily our best accomodation on our trip so far, being fantastically located and a beautifully renovated old home. It was far from our most expensive. The rooms were spacious and the huge shower recess was bigger than a couple of the full bathrooms in some of our other stays! The supplied breakfast made the stay even better value over looking the plunge pool and in a lovely spacious common room where a casual bar ran from 5-8 nightly.

No much. Perhaps the morning coffee could have been a little less bitter and a fridge in the room would be nice. In fairness, there is a communal fridge downstairs and endless filtered water in the breakfast area. It doesn’t have full hours reception but it wasn’t an issue for us

Near center of town. We had the entire top floor. Comfortable beds. Descent breakfast.

No air conditioning in the lobby. We had 4 flights of stairs to walk up to our suite which was difficult for my husband. Difficult to get to as far as getting luggage to and from as it is not a street for cars. As much as the staff was very nice they were not always at the desk or reachable when u needed them. ie when we got there no one to let us in. Had to drag heavy suitcases down a steep street and Back up when we left. Went to the bar when it was open (3 hours) and noone to be found to serve us. Horrible smell coming from the shower room when we first got there like sewage back up.

The room was super comfortable and even had a small balcony. I especially liked the bathroom as it was beautiful and heated. The villa was a perfect place to stay on those rainy days and I did not mind spending some time in the room everyday (due to the bad weather). There was a tea machine. The staff was super friendly!

The noise isolation was not super strong. When people were walking or talking in the hallway, I could hear it. Same with noise from the outside. I can imagine that in the high season it will be loud outside for quite a bit (as restaurants play music). Also to note: there is no elevator. To make the breakfast perfect, fresh orange juice would be so nice.

It is a haven of tranquility, good taste and comfort in the middle of busy Lagos. Location very central yet quiet and possibility for free car park at just few minutes. The patio garden with plunge pool in beautiful. Good breakfast at outside veranda. Spacious room with good beds, comfy linen and very silent airco. We would for sure book here again a next time.

Only a few suggestions; - we would have preferred a real shower instead of a shower in small bath. - would be good to replace all single use plastics in bathroom and breakfast by more sustainable alternatives - replace the curtain in front of the door by a black out curtain as it leaves too much light through in the morning and you wake up early Otherwise all was perfect

Gorgeous accommodation in a beautiful quiet street, perfectly located near the heart of the Old town. The hosts are very friendly, Nicolas was waiting for us on arrival and was extremely helpful, with great tips and advice. We had the loft, which was huge! The loft was beautiful and had a cute terrace which was great for a quiet spot to relax outdoors. Breakfast is also included here and was a great way to start our days. Overall, this is such a great value stay and would highly recommend.

There was a bit of an odd smell in the loft, couldn't figure out where it was coming from. It wasn't very strong and didn't ruin our stay though.

Villa Zawaia was a lovely, elegant place to land after a long day of travel. My room was so comfortable and beautifully decorated, I had the best sleeps. Breakfast was plentiful, varied and delicious; cereals, fruit, yogurt, meats, cheeses, eggs, breads, freshly baked pastries and croissants. The location could not have been better, just a short walk to restaurants, shops and the liveliness of travellers. Although the town centre was busy, my room was quiet. The villa staff were friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely stay at Villa Zawaia again and would highly recommend it to others. I'd like to especially acknowledge Nicholas who was so welcoming and kind.

The B and B is very centrally located and just a one block walk to the heart of the old town with loads of restaurants and shops. My wife has mobility issues and we were able to upgrade to a suite room which required no steps to reach. It was a little difficult to find parking nearby but we did. My original intention was to drive to other sites on our second day but I was sort of afraid of not being able to find parking again so just left the car parked. It turned our second day it rained most of the day so it worked out well just being able to walk around and then just a few minute easy walk back to our room.

Lost for words...hidden gem. We didn't get a chance to meet the owner but met Nicholas and our breakfast host. Amazing team Angelo has. So attentive and caring. Loved the decor...omg we had the Loft. Insane size and private balcony just wow.This Villa is set in the best location... walking distance to beach, marina, and restaurants/bars. Breakfast was amazing, good choice. At least we now in future if we want to go back...I would book Villa Zawaia. Plus I would let my family and friends know about it.

Only one think...lol our taxi in the morning got confused where to park for our pick to airport 😆. Maybe a different postcode for a pickup location.

This inn is gorgeous- the photos don't do it justice! Our room was huge, beautiful and quiet and the location couldn't be better. The owner is very kind and the people working at the front desk were communicative before our arrival. The breakfast was fresh and delicious with extensive choices.

It would be good to let people know that there is no elevator. Our room was on the top floor and required carrying our luggage up many stairs. It was fine for us but I can imagine it being challenging for older visitors.

I was visiting Lagos for my birthday with my mum! I somehow managed to mess up my booking and did not realise until the day and the staff were so tentative and lovely about it, no stress or drama. We had the best stay, this was perfect for my mum and I, we loved it. The breakfast was great. And the pool was always quiet, so it was great to sit by on the hotter days in the shade, reading a book. Room was lovely and clean - very comfortable. The villa was super central, literally a 2 minutes walk from the main central square. Loved it! Highly recommend
