Conveniently located. Basic but very adequate for short stay. The lovely staff were super helpful and the best we’d come across during our 4 day road trip. We came here in the midst of heatwave but staff happily provided more fans, sheets (instead of duvets) & chilled bottle water which were delivered to our room!! Thank you to wonderful staff who went above & beyond to accommodate us.

Bathroom was small but as we were only small people it didn’t affect our stay. No air con in room (but fans were given to move the air around)

We stayed here with our dog on two occasions on our way to Cornwall and back again. It being dog friendly is the reason we chose here. We received a warm, friendly welcome from reception. The rooms are basic but very comfortable with everything we needed. There's a ketttle, tea, coffee, and sugar. The rooms were spotless each time. The showers are good, shower gel and hand soap are provided, along with clean thick towels Every member of staff we spoke to were polite, friendly and professional. They are a credit to the hotel. Parking is free, the car park has plenty of spaces, We just needed to give our car reg. to reception. There are plenty of places nearby to eat and have a drink and a nice walk around the marina. Go2 is conveniently over a lidl. We highly recommend it, and we would definitely stay here again

The disabled guest room was excellent. Well thought out facilities. Clean and plenty of room. Nice view of Marina.Our second room was a standard twin at the back - a little cramped, but basically clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our one night stay. Staff were lovely and very helpful. We have stayed at this hotel several times, and always find it excellent value for money.

A bit noisy in the disabled room with traffic passing immediately below. Someone else's receipt on the floor in standard twin, and window would not close at all. Luckily it was a warm night, but were unable to block out noise from seagulls!

The staff were helpful and cheerful. There was a lift. Free car parking in Aldi, but make sure you register at reception or you'll get a fine! The hotel seemed pretty clean overall and, though firm, the bed was pretty comfortable. The plastic clhairs were comfy as well. Wi- fi was good. Carpet nice and looked clean. Our dog was welcome! (£5 a night) Loads of magazines in the foyer to borrow. Weatherspoons next door did excellent cheap breakfast! There was a kettle and tea making stuff in the room. Recommend buying water from Aldi downstairs as tap water not nice. We found the first night very noisy from airconditioning in Aldi downstairs and from 'spoons next door. The flush didn't work properly and kept running. No problem: reception changed us to a larger family room away from the noise. They even phoned me when the room was ready.

Hard to find reception as right next door to Aldi entrance ( above it actually).. Rooms above Aldi cooling units have a noisy humming with low level vibration 24 hrs a day. First room (124) had faulty toilet flush, which we gathered had been faulty for a while. Felt like a student room. Bed and pillows a bit firm.

The hotel was honest in its title - Budget Hotel. However, in this case, it does not imply shoddy or second rate. It is a thoroughly excellent place to stop for a few nights whilst knowing that the facilities are limited although the basics are there. The rooms are functional, well maintained, and spotlessly clean. The staff members we met were courteous and very helpful. Supermarkets are on the doorstep as are a number of eateries to suit different budgets. Overall, a great place to stay over for a few days for business, family occasions, or to break the journey whilst en route somewhere.

Nothing really - it delivered what it said.

This hotel is in a good location, close to the harbour with a few places to eat and drink nearby. I wouldn't say its a very romantic location but it was perfect for us to meet up with friends living in Portishead. The hotel didn't have its own restaurant or bar but there is a Wetherspoons and a couple of other restaurants very close by. It is sandwiched between a Lidl and a Waitrose so if you want to grab some snacks its easy to do. Having places to eat within walking distance meant we could have a great night out and not worry about having to get taxis.

Very friendly and willing reception staff at all hours. Car parked for free. Rooms very,very clean, modern, warm and cozy.We will always book the Go2 marina Portishead again this year. We return each year usually to come to Go2 from when it was named Travel lodge, and now GO2 . This year (2025)we arrived 5th Jan ( our wedding anniversary 1st Jan so will always book a room at the GO2 near to our anniversary.. we love wandering around the Marina and the many shops and restaurants in the spite of winter weather. Plenty of places within driving distance. A little tour round Somerset is a real reward or a day in the Cotswolds. Regards Derek and Linda Finch.

Really lovely little hotel. Staff were all so friendly, kind and helpful. Room was exceptionally clean and very spacious. We had a nice view from our room looking towards the harbour. Beds were comfy if a little firm, the TV was maybe a little small but overall these things didn’t have a negative impact on our stay at all. Close to everything - Lidl, Waitrose, Wetherspoons, Portishead marina, Subway and other bars and restaurants. Parking was really easy. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area!

Hotel does exactly what it says on the tin - its budget - so its no frills. The mattress was comfy, the pillows less so. The room and area were quiet and there is free car parking at the back of the hotel. The staff were excellent and catered for our request for rooms together. The shower was hot and we had clean towels each. Having a lift. Great location with plenty of breakfast options in walking distance varying from Lidl to Waitrose, Subway, Wetherspoons (no dogs) to what looked like a couple of eateries across the road.

Not essential to our stay but the hotel is looking a bit tired and the pillows were a bit lumpy - being really picky

Polite and helpful staff. Accessible room convenient for our circumstances. Staff had made the effort to provide cooling fan for very hot conditions.

A small table for siting next to armchair would be useful. As would a stool in the bathroom, for sitting at washbasin. Although we are not experienced enough to comment on general market comparison, the cost of stay has increased markedly over the years we have been coming here - more, I believe, than the rate of inflation.
