Our guests Kien and Phuong were very welcoming and made us feel part of the family. They also arranged our tour to Botanical gardens, Paradise cave and Phong Nha cave as they own one of the tour companies in town. We were picked up and dropped off outside the accommodation. The room was clean and tidy with a large bathroom and great hot water. The bed was very comfortable which is always a bonus when travelling. YoLo is a short walk or bike ride to town if you want to go to other restaurants, cafes, massages or local market stalls. Kien and Phuong hosted a Luna New Year party while we were there and invited us as well as other guests to join them. We got to experience wonderful food and drink with their friends. We had a fun night. The following evening they invited us to eat dinner with them. We enjoyed this experience and can't thank them enough for sharing it with us. It will stick with us for along time and we will most definitely come back to stay there.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect—just a short walk from the river, which made for some lovely morning and evening strolls. They also offer convenient services like laundry, a shuttle and local tours, which made everything super easy. I really appreciated their hospitality and attention to detail. Would definitely stay here again!

The rooms are spacious and clean. Such a great price and the views of the lake are amazing!! The owners and staff are so nice and helpful we unfortunately got food poisoning from a restaurant in the town and we had to stay an extra couple nights to clear it and the owners really did look after us🥰 the cook/ housekeeper is so lovely she came and sat with us and made us pancakes one night whilst we was playing cards. Such a great homely feel to this place definitely recommend💕

20 minute walk into town but there is grab.

The staff were very helpful and accomodating - we arrived in the middle of the night and they came to pick us up and also were able to find a room for us when we checked in a couple days earlier than planned. They have good connections with tour agencies, so definitely book through them when you arrive instead of using a site like Viator or Get Your Guide. Having breakfast included was nice and it's cooked fresh for you (Western and Asian options). Although we didn't use it, the pool appeared clean and well maintained. There's parking for scooters in front too and there are restaurant options within walking distance.

It would have been nice to have our garbage emptied daily, although to be fair we did not ask. The internet is pretty unstable and slow, but it's a small town, so that's to be expected. The outlets are at odd spots, so extension cords in the rooms would be helpful.

The pool is lovely, the staff are wonderful and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, especially the banana pancakes and we had dinner in house one night which was delicious. The restaurants in the street along the river are great, delicious food and a really short walk. Hired some bikes to get into town as it’s a bit of a walk but the traffic is very quiet and there are some lovely nature spaces to explore. Make sure you see Phong Nha Cave by boat from town.

Great stay! I checked in at 4AM after the Ninh Binh bus no problem. The dorm and the whole facility were sparkling clean. Rooms were quiet — I slept like a rock. The bathrooms were large! Hot hot shower. The pool and the atmosphere of the whole place was great. Location was a short walk from town. As a host, Du was communicative well before my stay, and he was super helpful for any questions I had. The whole family really cares about your stay and were so kind and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again!

Pool looked lovely and clean, if it wasn’t raining! Staff very accommodating, with a proper feeling of being included in their home. Breakfast all made fresh and absolutely delicious. Room spacious and good quality for money.

Not sure if it was just due to lots of rain however bedding felt slightly damp. After a quick blow dry it dried and bed was comfy. Nothing else was all good!

Really friendly stuff. Good possibility to eat breakfast in the garden nearby swimming pool. Possible to rent scooter directly on the hostel. A little bit outside from the village centre (only 10 minutes walk). Restaurants/cafe/bar nearby. The beds in the dorm have no extra lamp/light (per bed). Additionaly no power (for usb) on each bed. Some different toilets/bathrooms are available.

I loved staying here, the owner Zu helped me a lot and recommended me the best tours to explore the caves. There is a pool, a billiard and the view is amazing. I especially liked the family dinner: all the guest can join the people who run the hostel and their family to eat all together. This allowed me to get to know them better, play with the kids and also meet other guests from the hostel. I had to go back to Hanoi and Zu booked for me the bus and took me to the station. Thank you again, 100% recommended

The family who run this property are so nice and kind. They helped us with everything from picking us up from the bus, arranging onward transportation, day trips and laundry! Would recommend to anyone to stay here. The facilities are good and excellent value for money too!

A little far out from the main part of town but we did not find this as an issue as you can use bicycles to get around.
