Lovely, helpful and very friendly family with an interesting and different type of place and grounds. It rained the night we stayed so we ordered a take away and sat in the reception area eating, playing cards and watching the bats and geckos feeding on the glut of insects attracted by the lights. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nothing really-rooms were a little basic but adequate. Our hosts were delightful and we had a lovely stay here.

The hosts were absolutely lovely, they went above and beyond to help us and kept us company in the evening with some fresh homemade tea. The whole property is beautiful and interesting.

The water pressure was weak but I think that may have been a problem just at the time because of a pipe issue.

Location PERFECT for myself as about 1km outside small township area with restaurants , and as a bird watcher I got some lovely rural walks. Lovely hosts, very willing and keen to give free rides there and back if required.

They have no wifi except a little phone access, a continued problem for them.

Great homestay in a beautiful part of Sabah. Nice garden with fishponds and an eclectic collection of rooms. The host was very friendly and made us feel right at home. Great base to explore the national park and the hot springs. The rooms are simple but adequate.

Overall great experience, however the whole place is in need of better upkeep.

Very nice, non-posh place, with a warm and helpful host family. The rooms are basic, aligned to a large shared terrace, where you can see all kind of interesting animals. 10 minutes-walk away are the hot and warm springs, also the entrance to the waterfalls. A five-minute walk brings you to the small Langanan river where you can bath and see fishes. Highly recommended especially for families.

Doors could be a bit more isolated to reduce the noise from the other guests.

Great location, interesting and very friendly hosts. We had a good time around. We were hosted with care and were invited to join the family activities, tea, homemade snack, etc. We really appreciate our time there. Nice place to begin our self-organized family Sabah tour.

It was not a problem for us, but we think, if the main patio and the main lodge area/porch got serious cleaning and going over the endless mess of millions of random items, it would be an amazing place. Otherwise it is a chaotic fustercluck of forgotten pieces of random origin: starting on broken action figures and on finishing on motorbike parts or so... For 1-2 day stay, it is ok, but for a longer one, I would find it distracting.

Wonderful hospitality by the owner and the family. Surround by sounds of nature and beautiful garden surrounding the property. I stayed in a dorm so the room is basic and its cheap. But they have a much upgrade private rooms options as well

Loved that the hosts took so much care and effort to make our stay great. Very homely, made for a great visit to socialise with other guests.

The facilities were quite simple, there was no wifi provided and minimal phone service.

Lovely, peaceful location but a bit out of the way to walk anywhere. The owner kindly offered to drop me off at the hot springs though and bus stop when I was leaving. No restaurant on site or in walking distance but cooking facilities available.
